Classic old time colonial resort. The antique atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel like you are stepping back into the early 1900s. The facilities are definitely old, but that just adds to the charm. And without question or doubt, the best location on the island. Walking distance from everything, including the airport, and with a private, perfectly manicured beach, there is no better place to be. Staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent complimentary breakfast. If you want a shiny modern all inclusive, go to Mexico. If you want the true Caribbean, this is the spot!

Really enjoyed our stay at Coco Reef. The staff are amazing and the best on the island. They are friendly, helpful and professional. The location can’t be beat. It’s not only an amazing view, but just an amazingly calm and gorgeous, protected beach front. The rooms are also clean and our porch/veranda faced the pool and ocean. We loved having coffee with complimentary milk from the fridge on the porch and enjoying the view. Now the hotel is older and so are the rooms, but the ‘colonial’ style has absorbed some of the aging. The breakfast was great and the dinner was tasty as well. The main issues are the lack of hot water at busy times e.g. sunset/end of day and the beach towel allotment (beach towels were limited to one a guest and had to be signed out), but it does not dampen the loveliness of the hotel and the staff. It’s like a hidden gem that my family loves and we hope it stays the way it is. The location is also close to everything including the bus stop and shops and the gate is guarded. We will continue to visit whenever we can. Thanks is particular to Stephanie, Karina and Gail! Hope to see you all soon.

Let me start with pros…a beautiful antique style architecture at good location. It has beautiful sand beach with clear water! I really enjoyed staying at the beach. However, it was a shame that the staff were not trained well enough with attitude. For example, a guest said that he reserved a room and waited for the response from the lady over the reception desk. She blinked her eyes and said, “I’m listening” rather than welcoming or starting a conversation friendly. Another example, the staff at the breakfast venue simply took the finished plates just saying “excuse me” rather than checking or asking if the guests had finished. Overall, the staff were not friendly or kind. If the guests arrived early to check in they need to pay for 1-2 hours early check in. The internet access was very poor, so it was very hard to contact my family using online media. Although the resort was beautiful and unique, the staff made it so down!! Another extra thing needs to be considered; the paintings were not genuinely going well with this unique place, too many and too shabby!

We spent 2 weeks here and we had an amazing time. The breakwater is just perfect because we could enjoy swimming and snorkeling most of the time and we saw more fish here than in Englishman Bay, Castara Bay or Little Tobago with a healthy coral reefs though. The room was always clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I don't rate this resort with 5 stars because this place is very much understaffed. As a result we were waiting for ages to be served during our meals. The food was just ok, nothing exciting and everyday the same. The water pressure in the shower should be sorted as well but I would recommend this resort. Thanks for the lovely holiday. Xx

Scam of a hotel. We booked a two night/3 day stay at the hotel where they specifically stated in writing that breakfast and dinner were included in their "all inclusive package". (WRONG) Upon checkout we got a bill for 3000.00 TT dollars roughly around 450 usd. When we inquired they said it was a mistake on their behalf and we still had to pay up. The staff were rude. We would've missed our flight if we spent any time trying to challenge them. How can you call this all Inclusive? How can you state that breakfast & dinner included and then surprise us with this bill at the end of our stay? In a villa! Coco Reef stop scamming your guests not willing to make any compromises whatsoever! Mini vacay from hell Considering there was a kitchen in the villa but no one on such a short stay wanted to cook. People beware and where was the Hotel Manager? Will never stay here again !
