The food oh my goodness it was divine. I could spend a million years in that resort and never be bored of the amazing views and all the facilities it has to offer. The breakfast never disappointed, there was a HUGE variety. Staff were so kind and it was really soothing for myself to stay there.

Nice hotel - nice staff - great breakfast. Great value out of season! Nice trails nearby. But be warned walking on the main road would be dodgy. Some stuff wasn’t open as it’s out of season but no prior notice. Alternative pool access provided though! Also the gym is a real disappointment - yea you go there to be outside but such a beautiful location and the gym has no view and limited weights - just to warn anyone who trains and goes here expecting a decent gym. Food very expensive so didn’t eat here.

Wrong place at the wrong time. When i booked I planned to join organized fitness activities. Especially the hikes since i booked a solo trip. Also planned to enjoy the mountain view and being in nature. However i had low on energy at the moment in the hotel and all the organized activities during my stay were high intensity. Also the weather was completely clouded, so no point in going by car to viewpoints. Hotel experience was very odd to me: 3 concrete flats with view on the other flats eventhough i booked a panoramic suite. Reception staff was friendly giving me several other options but they had the similar odd views. Interior decor felt like an impersonal business hotel chain equipped for large amounts of people and groups. Kitchen not equipped for cooking just to heat up take out. Food was average or even below in the hotel and area so i went down to the coast (alvor & lagos) and had nice days & dinner there. Even if i would be fit, the next time in this area i would book a place near the coast and find a authentic place there since its a short 25min drive up the mountain. Too bad, had good expectations due to all the raving reviews.

Great value (winter season), large room, comfy bed. Room serviced daily, staff polite, friendly and very professional. Breakfast was good with plenty of hot and cold choices. Restaurant offers ‘A La Carte’ menu as well as snack menu. Large covered garage as well as outside parking. Spa services were very good.
