We needed dietary considerations and reservations to maintain our full schedule. The restaurant service teams were wonderful. We felt so special. I highly recommend this property.

The Fives was my nieces wedding venue last month. It was fabulous. 65 wedding guests and everyone felt special and well taken care of. The staff were fabulous. The venue was absolutely beautiful. I was here for My wedding on July 12. Myself and entire wedding party stayed here so we booked out 42 of the rooms they had. Just say the least we took over the hotel. I arrived on the Thursday with my wedding bridesmaid and grooming, and the check-in was very smooth. They knew our group was coming so the entire staff was wonderful from start to finish. They accommodated Us to the max capacity. Myself and husband was upgraded to the presidential suite, which was so nice of them to upgrade us to. A lot of my family got upgraded rooms as well. They booked out private dinners for us since we had a large group with us. We booked out a welcome party on the beach and had a blast. We played same volleyball. We were in the pool. They got us our own personal bartender and food cookout so all the wedding guests wouldn’t have to go into the normal restaurants. It would just be a faster access to food and drinks! I have visited this hotel Four times now And with this trip being my wedding trip, they did an incredible job. I worked with Ivan Who got my number and WhatsApp and we communicated the entire time. With all my wants and needs. All my guests said they loved their rooms and the food and the drinks and just thought the whole hotel was beautiful. A lot of of them went to the town and they said they love that as well! Everyone who worked my wedding was so accommodating and the set up was beautiful. We had an incredible time and I highly recommend anyone wanting. Intimate destination, wedding to come here. Everything was top-notch and I really appreciate all the help the staff gave us. I’m really happy that we were able to provide some entertainment as well. We had a young vibrant, College reunion basically and everyone told me how happy they were to be at the venue at the same time as us because we brought a lot of energy and good vibes. I’m looking forward to one day coming back for my anniversary. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel for yourself, you will love it!
Azul Montemayor
I really wanted to love this place — the location within Puerto Morelos is fantastic, and the property itself has so much potential. But unfortunately, our stay this summer fell flat in too many ways for me to consider booking again during this season.
Let’s start with the beach: yes, the seaweed was expected this time of year, but what really disappointed us was the complete lack of beach service. No one to help set up umbrellas or offer drinks — we had to do it all ourselves and walk back and forth to the bar. When the beach isn’t swimmable, you hope the rooftop can make up for it — but the rooftop was closed half the time due to on-and-off rain, leaving us with no relaxing outdoor space to enjoy.
The food was okay, but honestly didn’t compare to the incredible dining options just outside the resort. We barely broke even with the all-inclusive, and unless you plan to drink heavily and stay on the property all day, it’s just not worth the cost.
To top it off, there were no on-site activities during our stay, and multiple issues with dinner reservations. The young man at reception never actually booked them, so each night we were told there was no reservation on file. On our last night, we didn’t get seated until almost 10pm because of this.
It’s a real shame — The Fives is beautiful but seems to be cutting corners during the off-season, likely due to low occupancy. I might consider returning in winter WITHOUT the all-inclusive package, but definitely not again in the summer.

This was the most beautiful hotel with an incredible staff! Eli, Maria, Gabriel, Valeria, & Hair were standout amazing individuals. They ensured that we had everything we needed at our fingertips. Each person we encountered was top notch. I can’t wait to bring my husband back for a vacay!! Thank you!

This is a beautiful property with wonderful service. Clair and Omar were always available and made our stay even better! My granddaughter has so much fun getting to see the various animals wandering around. And, all the pools are immaculate and easily accessible. The Spa is beautiful and top notch The food is very good, with some better than other. But, I expect that at an all exclusive. My only complaint is the open bathroom situation. There are blurred doors on the toilet and shower but as soon as you get out it’s open to the room. But, I will still be very happy to come back here again and again!

got back from an amazing stay at this resort and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The property is beautiful — clean, modern, and super well maintained. Every corner of it feels thought out, and the pools are all crystal clear and easy to get to no matter where you are on the property.
Carlos was my server and he was incredible — super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth every time I sat down to eat. Honestly one of the best parts of the trip.
The food overall was solid. Some dishes were better than others, but that’s expected at an all-inclusive. There was always something good to eat, and the variety kept things from getting boring.
The spa? Unreal. It’s clean, peaceful, and actually feels like a luxury experience, not just something thrown in for the sake of it. If you go, book something there — totally worth it.

I had an incredible stay at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome — everyone was so friendly, kind, and attentive.
The resort was consistently spotless. Housekeeping maintained our room beautifully every day, and the cleanliness across the entire property was truly impressive.
The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. There was always something new and satisfying to enjoy at each meal.
One of the things I appreciated most was the thoughtfully planned daily programs. They were engaging and diverse, offering opportunities to try new things and keep the day feeling fresh and fun — I was never bored for a second.
The spa was a true highlight. The space itself was calming and beautifully designed, and the lovely scent in the air made it even more inviting. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The pools were crystal clear and clearly well cared for — swimming or just lounging by the water was an absolute pleasure.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation, cleanliness, great service, and enriching activities.

Great place and location! Staff was helpful, we had Juli as our ambassador. She was amazing. Even went out of her way to help us get some medicine for my daughter’s ear swimmers ear!
The property is understaffed at the pools and a few areas are more run down- but is genuinely well maintained. All the food we ate was great!
Housekeeping department is also amazing.

Spent a few days at the fives for a girls trip. We had three bedroom residence and it was lovely! The beach area is small and was full of seaweed so we did not get in the ocean. The food was good but not excellent and we waited to get into the Italian restaurant for three hours. They really need to take reservations! I had a massage and the whole experience at the spa was exceptional. Highly recommend Betty for a massage.

From the moment I arrived at The Fives Downtown, I had an amazing experience. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative. They offered me an upgrade to a suite at a discounted rate, which was a great surprise and truly appreciated.
Throughout my stay, the service was consistently outstanding. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to the pool area—was kind, attentive, and professional. The vibe at the pool was fantastic! The bartenders and waiters were friendly and fun, and really helped make each day relaxing and enjoyable.
The location of the hotel is perfect—close to everything you might want to explore in Playa del Carmen, yet still peaceful and comfortable. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and I appreciated the extra bottled water they provided regularly.
Overall, I had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel experience in Playa!

First time visiting here was for their 2020 NYE celebration- Amazing time! Currently staying here for a week almost five and half years since December 31, 2019.
Super friendly staff, very clean, everything is reasonably priced and transparent (no gross hidden fees!) The roof top pool/bar is incredible, and there’s always someone available to refresh your drink without even asking.. I would highly recommend renting a Bali Bed, the cost is 100% put towards your food/booze consumption. By far one of the best Hiltons I’ve ever stayed at- Although Paris is not involved with the Hilton Brand I know she’d be proud.
Shout out to housekeeping, pool staff, restaurant staff and the Director (horrible with names, super cute/young and friendly guy!)

My boyfriend and I spent one week in the superior king room and it was very nice! The service was perfect everyone was very nice! Arturo at the pool was the best!! We loved him so much and the other staff members too! The pool and the food 10/10 every time! The pool was not that busy, we didn’t need to reserve our chairs in advance.
Also Lili at the reception helped us book activities and she was wonderful!
Overall, super nice stay! We recommend!

Recently stayed here for a much needed vacation. The hotel itself was nice, the room was lovely. The food could be better. Drinks are very expensive. Pool is super busy, hard to get a spot at. My main complain was that on our last night, around 11pm I got very bad food poisoning and was up all night sick, resulting in my pushing my flight back a day. My friend had to leave the next morning and asked to extend our stay for one more night. They told her an extra day would be $350. For the previous 4 nights our total was a little over $500. Ridiculous price for an additional night. And this was for a Monday. They said it was the “walk in rate”. It didn’t appear to be busy. This was obviously disappointing but there wasn’t much I could do about it due to how sick I was. Also, cherry on top was later that night I found a roach in my room. Overall, this is a fine place to stay and the location is great, but the service really bummed me out.

We had a great stay. We had 3 rooms under our reservation with 5 people and everyone had an amazing time. The rooms were nice and staff were great. The rooftop has an amazing view and the staff is great. We definitely recommend the guacamole. Tomas and Josedir were phenomenal. Very attentive and helpful. Absolutely will come back!
