We arrived around 1:00pm and asked about an early check-in. The staff took all our information, gave us wristbands, and collected a deposit on our credit card, so we assumed our room would be ready. But they told us it wasn't ready yet. They said we could use the facilities while we waited, but we decided to take a walk into town and spent some time at a nearby beach bar. When we returned at 2:30pm, the room was still not ready. It wasn’t until exactly 3:00pm that we were finally allowed to go to our room.
Room: 4.5/5 stars
We stayed in Room 207, which overlooked the street. It was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a sofa, a table and chairs, a kitchenette, and a balcony. The TV had many English-language channels, and the room was quiet - we slept soundly through the night. The mini-fridge was stocked with soda, water, and beer. Coffee pods were provided, though the coffee maker only brewed about a shot’s worth at a time.
The bathroom was large, with double sinks and a rain shower head that had plenty of hot water. My only complaint is that although there was a kitchenette, there were no utensils. Not a huge issue, but we brought leftovers back one night and had to eat them with our fingers.
Pool Area: 4/5 stars
There are two pools—one on the rooftop and one by the beach. We didn’t use either, but both looked very nice.
Food: 4/5 stars
We only had drinks at the rooftop bar. Prices were a bit high for Mexico, but the atmosphere made it worthwhile.
Location: 4/5 stars
The hotel is beautiful and well-located, just a 15-minute walk to the center of town. Puerto Morelos has many great restaurants within walking distance.
Staff: 5/5 stars
Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly, hardworking, and always had a smile. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at The Fives Oceanfront! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—huge thanks to Luis, Cristina, and Gus for being so warm, friendly, and helpful. The resort has a boutique feel, is beautifully maintained, and offers modern, clean rooms with stunning beachfront just steps away.
The à la carte food was consistently delicious, and we loved how close the resort was to local shops and restaurants—it made exploring the area on their complimentary bikes so easy and fun. We also took advantage of the many on-site activities, like yoga, bracelet making, macramé, and even soap making, which added a fun and creative touch to our stay.
They also helped us book some great excursions, making it a well-rounded, stress-free vacation. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, beautiful surroundings, and a touch of local culture, this is the place!

There is not a better place to vacation. Valeria met us upon check in and helped us for the remainder of our visit. She helped me plan a spa day, snorkeling daily dinners and so much more. Our beach staff especially Luis, met every expectation. At dinner we were not only entertained but also treated like family but Hair. We will be going back for sure. I have been to Mexico before and the Fives more than met my expectations...exceeded in every way possible. You cannot go wrong.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Fives Hotel, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were thrilled to discover our spacious and beautifully appointed room.
The amenities at The Fives are top-notch. The pools were pristine, and there were plenty of comfortable loungers for relaxing in the sun. The on-site dining options were outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to every palate. I especially loved the tropical cocktails at the pool bar!
A special shout-out to Cristina, Elvis, Daniel, and Adrian, who were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout our stay. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made the experience even more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated their efforts to make our stay memorable.
What really stood out, though, was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and I felt truly pampered throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, providing easy access to local attractions while still feeling like a peaceful oasis.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just a place to unwind, The Fives Hotel delivers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return!

Our stay at The Fives Ocean Front in Puerto Morelos was nothing short of unforgettable — a true 10 out of 10 experience, made even more special thanks to two incredible managers: Cristina and Jenny.
From the moment we arrived, Jenny greeted us with warmth and care, going above and beyond to check us into a room far more comfortable and luxurious than we ever expected. It truly set the tone for a wonderful week ahead.
Throughout our stay, Cristina was simply amazing. Every single day, she took the time to check in with us, asking how we were doing and making sure everything was perfect. She helped us with small things (though there were hardly any issues to begin with) and always with such kindness and professionalism. She even helped us find the perfect table to dine at — her attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
All of the restaurants at the hotel were outstanding — delicious food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. And our room? Absolutely flawless. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed — it was truly a dream.
Thanks to Cristina and Jenny, our week at The Fives Ocean Front felt like a dream come true. Their dedication, warmth, and exceptional service made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I had an incredible stay at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome — everyone was so friendly, kind, and attentive.
The resort was consistently spotless. Housekeeping maintained our room beautifully every day, and the cleanliness across the entire property was truly impressive.
The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. There was always something new and satisfying to enjoy at each meal.
One of the things I appreciated most was the thoughtfully planned daily programs. They were engaging and diverse, offering opportunities to try new things and keep the day feeling fresh and fun — I was never bored for a second.
The spa was a true highlight. The space itself was calming and beautifully designed, and the lovely scent in the air made it even more inviting. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The pools were crystal clear and clearly well cared for — swimming or just lounging by the water was an absolute pleasure.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation, cleanliness, great service, and enriching activities.

We had the most incredible wedding weekend here! We stayed here with family and friends for 3 nights before our wedding and had an absolute blast. The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the people here were amazing!
We also need to say a special thanks to our wedding planner Valeria and our wedding coordinator Mar. they were absolutely incredible and so accommodating through the whole process. We had the wedding of our dreams and wouldn’t change a thing about our weekend. Would highly recommend this resort and both the sky deck and terrace for wedding/reception venues. 5/5 stars!

We stayed at this resort to celebrate my sister’s high school graduation, and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the whole property was beautiful and well-kept. We loved the amenities and how relaxing everything felt—exactly what we needed for a special family trip. This stay gave us memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend for any celebration or getaway!

My family and I just went to this resort for my graduation present and it was absolutely incredible. As soon as we arrived there were refreshments waiting for us as we checked in with the well informed and efficient ambassadors. Our room was very neat and taken care of (although we did have some problems with our air conditioning). All of the waiters especially Alejandro and Santiago are such hard workers and took great care of us while always keeping a smile on their faces. Jose the amazing artist by the pool helped us create awesome souvenirs to remember such an amazing trip. The entertainment was great especially dancing and doing karaoke with Daniela! Overall I had a blast and will definitely be back!

We booked the Fives for our destination wedding and it was perfect!! The wedding venues were beautiful and the entire wedding team was incredible throughout the whole process. Our friends and family had so many great things to say about the resort and everyone had a wonderful time. We loved the variety of restaurants and bars to choose from, and all of the huge pools helped it never feel too crowded. Such a beautiful resort immersed in nature and great staff!

First time visiting here was for their 2020 NYE celebration- Amazing time! Currently staying here for a week almost five and half years since December 31, 2019.
Super friendly staff, very clean, everything is reasonably priced and transparent (no gross hidden fees!) The roof top pool/bar is incredible, and there’s always someone available to refresh your drink without even asking.. I would highly recommend renting a Bali Bed, the cost is 100% put towards your food/booze consumption. By far one of the best Hiltons I’ve ever stayed at- Although Paris is not involved with the Hilton Brand I know she’d be proud.
Shout out to housekeeping, pool staff, restaurant staff and the Director (horrible with names, super cute/young and friendly guy!)

From the moment I arrived at The Fives Downtown, I had an amazing experience. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative. They offered me an upgrade to a suite at a discounted rate, which was a great surprise and truly appreciated.
Throughout my stay, the service was consistently outstanding. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to the pool area—was kind, attentive, and professional. The vibe at the pool was fantastic! The bartenders and waiters were friendly and fun, and really helped make each day relaxing and enjoyable.
The location of the hotel is perfect—close to everything you might want to explore in Playa del Carmen, yet still peaceful and comfortable. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and I appreciated the extra bottled water they provided regularly.
Overall, I had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel experience in Playa!

My boyfriend and I spent one week in the superior king room and it was very nice! The service was perfect everyone was very nice! Arturo at the pool was the best!! We loved him so much and the other staff members too! The pool and the food 10/10 every time! The pool was not that busy, we didn’t need to reserve our chairs in advance.
Also Lili at the reception helped us book activities and she was wonderful!
Overall, super nice stay! We recommend!

Had an exceptional stay at the Hilton Fives. The location is in a very convenient spot and just one block away from Avenida Quinta. The hotel staff are very accommodating as well. We spent quite a few afternoons at the pool and the staff were very attentive. Jose and Adrian were very accommodating and friendly.
We would stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay. We had 3 rooms under our reservation with 5 people and everyone had an amazing time. The rooms were nice and staff were great. The rooftop has an amazing view and the staff is great. We definitely recommend the guacamole. Tomas and Josedir were phenomenal. Very attentive and helpful. Absolutely will come back!
