We had an amazing stay at the One&Only Royal Mirage. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, especially with our baby. They upgraded us to a huge room that made things so much more comfortable, and everyone was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The property itself is stunning — peaceful, super well-maintained, and feels like a true escape from the city. Service was top notch from start to finish. We felt really well taken care of and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with a baby or just looking for a luxury experience that actually delivers. We were invited by a friend to try a new restaurant, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The manager personally came by our table, which made us feel truly valued. The chef clearly gave it his all — the food was not just delicious, it was an experience in itself. Each dish had its own unique flavor, offering a different dimension of taste. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely visit again soon. This happened on April 12, 2025 in One&Only The Palm. I was at the One&Only The Palm hotel with my family. After sunset, I got out of the water and went back to the sunbeds, then wrapped myself in warm towels. It was around 6:40 PM. A waiter immediately came up to me to settle the bill. After payment, I was told that he had to work overtime because of us and that I needed to leave the beach as service had been stopped. I replied that I could put away the towels myself and that I had just come out of the water and wasn't going anywhere because someone's working hours had ended. The waiter rolled his eyes and left. He didn't tell me his name. After a while, the beach manager appeared, who also refused to give his name during the conversation. He stood right in front of my sunbed and deliberately blocked the view of the evening Palm Jumeirah bay. He kept urging me to leave the beach and go to the pool. To which I stated that we (me, my mother, and sister) have been coming to the hotel more than once to enjoy the sea air, and not breathe chlorine over the water. We weren't going to swim again, we didn't ask for new towels, we just wanted to calmly finish our stay at the hotel, which we were not allowed to do. I would also like to remind you that we had just come out of the water. The manager left and returned with a security guard. It is important to note that the security guard also did not state his name. Moreover, he turned his badge, attached to his belt, to the other side so that I could not read the name of the person behaving so disgracefully with the visitors. He came up close to my sunbed, leaned over me and did everything to make me feel as uncomfortable as possible. He stated that he was urging my family to leave from the beach for our safety, but the only danger I felt was from him. As a result, we left the beach. All this arguing with the staff took about 30 minutes. I am writing this review in the hope of reaching the top management of the One&Only chain, as from conversations with the local management, I understood that they are not going to do anything. The only thing they offered me was two free beach accesses, but this makes no sense if I'm going to be forcibly kicked off the beach again in the end. The hotel should take the following measures: 1. Return name badges on clothing. None of the employees introduced themselves and they behaved extremely inappropriately for a hotel of this high level. 2. Accept the norm that the beach can remain partially cleaned after closing. The main thing is that guests can calmly finish their stay. You can't kick guests out! If you are really concerned about the safety of your clients, the security guard can be nearby at this time so that the guests are in his field of vision. 3. Employees must understand that despite the official working hours, they work until the last client. This is the golden standard. Guests are not kicked off the beach at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai Marina, Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah or Al Qasar. One&Only is the most expensive of the hotels I have listed, but at the same time, only it allows such disgusting behavior of its employees towards guests. 4. Take action against three beach employees (waiter, beach manager, and security guard). I specifically indicated the exact date and time of the events so that you have the opportunity to understand who I had to argue with. I remind you, no one mentioned their names. Accordingly, no one felt responsible for what they were doing. It saddens me to write this review because I see how much intelligence and money has been invested in the concept of this hotel. My family and I have been here several times in 2024 and even celebrated the New Year 2025 at the 101 restaurant. Unfortunately, the human factor ruins everything, and the experience of the last stay takes away the desire to return.

We had an unforgettable experience at One&Only, where we also hosted our wedding. From start to finish, everything was impeccable. The team went above and beyond to make our special day perfect, and the beautiful venue created the ideal backdrop for our celebration. A big highlight for us was how accommodating and thoughtful the staff were, especially with my mom, who required a wheelchair. They provided excellent service and ensured her comfort throughout our stay. Their kindness and attentiveness made this experience even more meaningful for our family! Thank you One&Only team. We were upgraded to the Residence section of the hotel. It was fabulous only 48 rooms and suites. The pool was WOW with plenty of loungers and cabanas which had refrigerators ! Also nice touch was a cool bag with water crisps towels etc. Beach cabanas spread far apart on a huge private section of beach each with own decking.

Words cannot describe the amazing hospitality and beauty of this resort. The location and architecture of this place is amazingly beautiful and what make this resort stand out are the people. The staff were so hospitable and caring. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they decorated our room to celebrate the occasion and provided us with beautiful amenities. From the moment we got out of the car to the time we left, everyone made us feel special. There too many names to thank for making our stay amazing, from the dedicated hosts to the housekeeping staff everyone!! Thank you! We would definitely come again.

My family and I stayed here for 5 days for brothers wedding. The villa had essentially everything you could need likely. The kitchen staff were all extremely helpful and the scrambled eggs were delicious! We had a buggy that picked us up and transported us anywhere on the One & Only properly. Anytime we wanted to leave the property the villa staff arranged either a taxis or shuttle bus for our family. Unfortunately last night my sister-in-law realized that money had been taken from her personal belongings. She informed the staff who seemed to take the complaint seriously.

Disappointing Experience at One&Only Saint Géran – Not Worth the Hype We stayed at One&Only Saint Géran from 27th to 29th March and, frankly, the experience was far from what one would expect from a so-called luxury resort. While the property itself is undeniably beautiful, the service quality and attention to guest needs were utterly substandard. To begin with, the resort is not kid-friendly. Despite repeatedly informing the staff that we were traveling with an infant, there was absolutely no preparedness or willingness to accommodate basic baby food requirements. We requested khichdi and oats porridge for our child — simple requests — but both were ignored. Only after persistent follow-up, and far too late, did they offer plain milk and oats as compensation. Due to this gross negligence, our baby remained hungry for the entire 6-hour return flight. Furthermore, vegetarian food options were shockingly limited for a resort of this stature. As eggitarians, we had asked for omelette bagels during checkout for our travel — instead, they packed ham bagels without informing us. This lack of attention to dietary preferences is unacceptable and displays a clear lack of training and professionalism. In summary, while the aesthetics of the property might attract you, don’t be fooled. The service is poor, staff coordination is abysmal, and if you’re vegetarian or traveling with children, you’re likely to be severely disappointed. For the price point, this level of carelessness is inexcusable. Not recommended.

Incredible place. It’s like a paradise. In every single little details. Especially shot out to Ma’in who came to give us a special greetings for us when we leaving. Wonderful Lutchmee who went out do her way to get whatever we needed. Our boat tour was fantastic and Bernard and Gasto made this adventure such a fun ! Every single person was extremely accommodating and pleasing in every way the best service ever. Facilities and beaches are so wonderful

This truly is an experience of living on a an island in the middle of the ocean, there’s so much to do on this island that you need for five days here they have a whole array of sports including tennis, Pickleball, swimming jet, skis, sail boats, scuba, diving and fishing. They have many different restaurants on this island, and we never got tired of eating at the same place. May I also added the breakfast is included every morning and it’s one of the best breakfast since I’ve ever had.

A true paradise! Best location in Maldives! The staff was incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, so many choices, so many different cuisines with impeccable service. The rooms are big and spacious and the beds are beyond comfortable! Excellent cocktails at the bar by the pool with great music performance each night!

Very good resort but very expensive. Beautiful place. Is it worth it? Let's just say it's a supremely relaxing holiday if you can afford it, but personally the prices made me a bit anxious. The service is faultless and courteous as you could imagine and the restaurants are on the whole excellent and it's generally picture perfect. I did move villa because of the noise from he desalination plant, but the noise didn't bother my wife. Everything that makes a Maldivian holiday special is present here. The only unauthentic thing is that the stunning island and its beaches are largely man-made, not that you'd know it though. Perhaps there may be a certain lack of charm, but that could just be the Russian gangster guests, who in any case are easy to avoid. The management has a party once a week with unlimited free canapés and drinks, so that's good. A new 60ft Azimut boat takes you there, so that's cool too. I Can't really complain, but I won't be returning because I'm just not rich enough.

It's expensive, sure. But you get what you pay for. Everything at Reethi Rah is meticulously cared for. I believe the staff to guest ratio while we stayed was something like 4 to 1. Amazing food at every restaurant on the island. The only negative, apart from the general price of the place, would be our experience with mosquitoes. I didn't expect them to be quite so bad. They were numerous and really hampered our ability to enjoy the private pool. To be fair to One and Only they did spray our villa promptly on multiple occasions when we requested. And while this may or may not be something One and Only can control, I would still think twice about visiting the Maldives again during the rainy season.

An Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Service! I had the pleasure of spending several days at this wonderful hotel, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. A special shout-out goes to JIMMY, the bartender at the pool bar. Not only is he highly professional and friendly, but he truly knows his craft. His cocktail recommendations were spot-on every time – creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Jimmy’s warm personality and great sense of humor made every visit to the pool bar a memorable one. He has a real talent for making guests feel welcome and at ease. The rest of the staff were also incredibly attentive, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are modern, clean, and stylishly decorated. The pool area is the perfect place to relax, and the breakfast buffet offers a fantastic variety of delicious options. I’ll definitely be back – not least because of Jimmy and his outstanding service. A big thank you to the entire team!

We have just had the most magnificent stay at Bab al shams. Just wow!!!! The ambiance of the hotel is pure magic. The restaurants are wonderful with excellent food and very attentive caring staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent lots to choose from and great quality. The private desert tour was wonderful with our guide William he was informative, engaged, very friendly and a wonderful photographer 😂. The reception staff were so very helpful 1 young man in particular I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he checked us in and out he was super attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay truly unforgettable we will definitely be back it was superb 🙏🏻

Absolutely loved our stay at Bab Al Shams! The place is super quiet, very clean, and the whole vibe is just amazing; a perfect mix of luxury, tradition, and modern style. If you're looking for a peaceful and chic getaway, this is it. Luxury desert get away only 45min away from the city! I have been coming to this hotel for the past 12 years. This is the first time i came here after the full refurb and i can tell you that its amazing! Even though I like the old design as it was very traditional and authentic, they did a great job renovating the property to the very high standard. Its luxurious, cozy and stylish. The service has been great: the check in, Nanive restaurant, staff at the pool- all extremely hospitable, spot on, fast and thoughtful. The food at Nanive last night was delicious. The breakfast was amazing too. My husband is vegan, so the Chef made him vegan waffles. At the pool the life guard goes around spraying evian water on you at your request. You even get a free sun glasses cleaning service by the pool too- its all in the details. The only negative comment i can leave is that it is extremely expensive. Prices of Burj Al Arab: bottle of beer 20usd (70aed), coke 40aed etc. 1 hour massage is 850AED. Also the ac in our room was super loud. We reported it at night but we didnt want them to start fixing it at 10 30pm. Also the music from the bar was really loud. Nobody followed up about it this morning which i thought was quite dismissive.
