We just got back from our baby moon at Zoëtry Villa Rolandi and all I can say is that it was perfect! We are typically the partying type, but for this occasion we wanted quiet, romantic and relaxing and that is exactly what we got. The service was nothing short of exceptional from check in to check out. Each staff member was superb and I can’t emphasize that enough, they truly made us feel special and cared for. I had a facial at the spa and it was wonderful, I live in Vegas and it is hard to top our spas here but this spa was right on par with what I’m used to. Coming out of the spa right into the sunset view from the resort pools and beach, can’t beat it!! The food was fantastic, both restaurants are impeccable. Definitely recommend trying the 7 course meal at least once during your stay. We ordered room service for breakfast each day and ate on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Had lunch oceanfront each day. We watched the sunset from the beach each evening. The beach water was warm, calm and relaxing. The pools were great as well. Our room had a beautiful view and the daily turn down service was a great touch. Being pregnant isn’t easy work but staying here gave me a nice break from reality, I felt like a queen! We rented a golf cart one day and drove it around the island. Isla Mujeres is definitely a must see for those who want a different vibe from your typical Cancun/Cabo party scene. I definitely want to come back to Zoetry Villa Rolandi! Thank you to all of the staff for making it such a perfect trip for us and our baking baby girl :)

This is a fine dining restaurant where the atmosphere is nice but food is marginal. The setting was awesome, we watched the sun set and it was great. The service was OK but could be better. The food was only a three star. This was the most expensive meal we had and at the bottom for food quality. My salmon was undercooked, the rack of lamb was not cooked to the diner’s liking. Will not be going back here.

mixed feelings. not a 5-star hotel in my experience. this is the fourth day of a five day stay. Hard to believe this is part of the World of Hyatt brand. -what i liked: • clean, spacious room • large bathroom with walk-in shower • beautiful lobby • great seafood in restaurant • live music in restaurant at night (very good) • Rm 102 opens to the infinity pool and great view of the sunset • dining room is nice • *excellent spa (Lionel is fantastic, as is Theresita) • nice private beach • great seafood at restaurant. ice cream too • cocktails were great • good pool side service • highly recommend the grilled octopus • while American airlines (yuck) ruined our trip and we checked in 9 hours later than scheduled, the hotel worked with us to arrange a cab and ferry ride (we were too late to use their private ferry) - did *NOT* like • inconstant service • lack of customer focus > we requested a golf cart 2 days in advance and the hotel did not make the reservation > when we complained, is did not feel i was taken seriously > the bar in the lobby is listed as opening at 3 pm but no one showed. was then informed that it doesn’t open until 5 pm so much waiting around for 10 min waiting for bartender who wasn’t coming > Room service made an error on our first full day at the resort. they quickly resolved the issue but was not a good start • service staff is good, but concierge not so much • facility shows much wear and tear • restaurant food is inconsistent. some dishes are great others not so much. (hamburger yuck; lamb t-bone tough and tiny— has silver skin in the meat • breakfast meh • often in dining room we didn’t have all the utensils and we had to ask. also i dropped my napkin on the floor several times and the service staff did not retrieve it for me or offer a clean napkin • DO NOT RENT a golf cart through the hotel. $150 US per 24hrs for a worn down, poorly maintained vehicle. this alone scores less than 5 stars.. even if they had actually submitted our reservation • maid service restocking the room was inconstant. but clean room well. • not great for someone with mobility issues we’ve spent less in Playa del Carmen and Jamaica and had better experiences

Do not recommend. Broken hot tub; glass windows falling off hinges. Place needs updated badly. Suppose to get a room upgraded but then declined that once we arrived ; place isn’t even full, I asked cleaning staff on site, there was plenty room to upgrade up. Pick another hotel, this one sucks. front desk guy is rude, condensing and a liar. Promised lots of stuff, didn’t deliver. Hope to get a credit card refund when I get home for false advertising by this place.

Omg we had the best time! I have stayed at one other Zoetry before and Cabo and wanted to continue with the brand and try this one. I’m so glad we did, we met awesome people and even hugged some of the staff goodbye when we left. The level of service is INCREDIBLE and they helped us out so much. The food is top notch and the rooms are all ocean front views and have hot tubs on the balcony. We stayed on the resort for 5 days and didn’t leave but you can walk around the island town and it’s very safe (per other guests). We loved the food and consider it such a great couples resort. No kids, no loud noises, no construction! It was fab!!
