We had a wonderful stay here at the Paradisus Palma Real. The room was lovely and clean, came stocked with a minibar and waters/snacks. The best part of the experience was the attentiveness of the staff. Rafael in the Reserve section of the beach was one of the best and most friendly employees I have ever worked with, made great drinks and gave us excellent recommendations on things to do. Adriel our Reserve concierge was also exceptionally helpful. He was available to us morning and night and helped make us reservations for dinner, transportation and even activities. His help really made this trip a 10/10 experience. Amenities and things to do at this hotel are great. Would stay here again!

This resort has been a amazing experience. The workers are family. Antonio is the best. He made us feel like true family. Was so welcoming and fun. He made the ginger bar the ginger bar. All the workers Luis, Clari, Katnerine, Mileygi, yislmeiry, Amgie are part of our new family. That was what made the trip so special for me and my family. Such a friendly atmosphere. Antonio is top notch. Rooms are awesome and relaxing, the beach is beautiful and kept vary clean. Restaurants are all awesome.

This is the first resort I ever go to and I'm in love with it. I'm here with my girlfriend having a great time. The rooms are beautiful, the pools are beautiful, the hospitality is beyond anything I've seen in New York (I'm from New York, the hospitality is hit or miss). In The Lunch Box (one of the eateries) there's this one waiter Edison that made me and my girlfriend feel very welcome. He's very nice and funny, super enjoyable, always asked us to sit in his section of tables and made sure every detail was perfect. Table crooked? Fixed the table. Water empty? Instant refill. Dont drink? Whip you up any beverage of your liking. Genuinely I'm gonna miss this place, but I'm gonna miss Edison a lot when I leave, he's a homie. I hope they give him the FATTEST raise

Update: After my initial review, the resort manager took time to personally speak with us, listen to our concerns, and work toward addressing them. That effort was appreciated, and some staff did go out of their way to make us comfortable. Housekeeping made sure they did not use strong chemicals so it felt safe for our kids. Eduard (customer relations) is new and is committed to elevating this property to Melia luxury standards. Despite some initial hiccups we had a great time and hospitality was on point after our conversation with Eduard. I am writing this review as I am staying at this property. I think all the positive reviews are from the folks staying at the reserve side - maybe?. We've stayed at luxury Melia resorts and this ain't one. Rooms are old and worn (they do not look like the images on the website at all), staff is rude, they didn't honor any of the extras that we were supposed to get with our booking, they never stocked our minibar, and the room had an extremely strong odor of chemicals when we entered - we had to air it for many hours and it still lingered (housekeeping didn't want to do anything about it - after several calls, we gave up). May be we are paying brown tax - because I see several reviews where folks got excellent service. I actually had to tell the person who was at the towel booth to be polite and not be rude to me. Food is decent for an all inclusive. Location is great - it is one of the resorts that clears all the sargassum using an automatic weed harvester.

Jensy @the Rum Republic and his team Miguel & Ozuna made the most fantastic drinks and created a wonderfully enjoyable atmosphere to hang out. Their knowledge of rum is most impressive! Christopher our concierge made everything easy and took the stress off. Special shoutout to Jean who knew ALL the restaurants and gave us excellent pointers on what to try!
