Zeavola Resort was a much-needed getaway! The long beach is gorgeous, the water is super clear, and the whole place is covered by trees and greenery. Our natural wood villa was spacious with a cozy outdoor living area.
The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The chef even came out to change a Thai dish because of my peanut allergy. The meals were just delightful.
They also have a great diving center where I was able to get snorkeling gear and a kayak. The diving team was so nice and later encouraged me to go diving, so I did. In just over a week, I was able to get my open-water diving certificate, a long-time dream of mine.
Overall, it's the perfect spot for taking it easy, enjoying nature, and get out into the water. If you want to get away from the larger resorts or the busy tourist center of Phi Phi Island, this is highly recommended!

Our second time staying here and I absolutely LOVE it. We stayed in the large private villas and just adore our time there - we feel at home.
By far the best resort I have ever been to anywhere in the world and will continue to visit as often I can.
Staff are exceptional - caring, attentive and nothing, I mean NOTHING is too much trouble.
Rooms are immaculate and incredibly clean and well appointed, filled with character and style and the beds are so comfy!
The daily fruit platters and small gifts are a wonderful touch.
Now to the food. Oh my goodness, the food! Chef Satya and his team create the most amazing delicacies. Not only are all ingredients top notch quality, they are also sourced locally where possible with sustainability and support of local businesses front of mind. The meals are a triumph and must be eaten to be believed!!!
A feast for the belly and the eyes.
I can't fault Zeavola and can't wait to go back again and again.

We just checked out, and I’m writing this review while it’s still fresh. The resort in itself is nice and clean, all naturally sandy and not decked out, however, the rooms are smaller and less beautiful than we expected. We found the rooms quite dark even with curtains open and lights on, but that’s all fine. The pool is beautiful, but there were no towels so we had to go back in the heat to get towels from the reception. The worst thing though - one of the pool’s metallic steps is completely broken and is a huge liability, as someone might get seriously injured.
If you’re planning on watching a sunset on the west side, don’t, as they don’t have access to the other side. Not a huge issue, but for us sunset lovers it was a bit of an inconvenience.
The staff is friendly and they try their best, but they are not properly trained. For instance, we ordered wine, and the staff had to come double check by pointing out the names of the wine that we pronounced correctly, just to make sure they heard it right, as they clearly don’t know them. Another thing, my husband and our friend were ordering vegetarian dishes for 3 days, but only at the end of our stay did we learn there is a separate vegetarian menu that we were never offered till our last dinner.
As for the check in and check out process, our check in was quite smooth, although when we called the day before to ask them to collect us from the Tonsai pier, they said they won’t have any boats available. We had to pay a little bit more and found a long tail boat ourselves. Upon arrival to the hotel’s beach, we saw 4 boats just standing docked there, without any captains on board. When we brought that up at check in, the lady just ignored our question, without any apology.
The worst experience, though, was at check out, and it dampened our overall impression even worse - since we checked in into 2 separate rooms (me + my husband in one room, and our friend in another), we paid and signed all of our bills separately as per our rooms. However, at the check out we found out that all of our bills got mixed up, although they were very clearly marked which room is which. It took us over 20 min to deal with the bills, the lady who was helping us completely messed it up, she had to recount everything 3 times. We had a boat to catch, and although we finally made it to the boat in a heavily pouring rain, we really had to rush and were very stressed out by the whole ordeal.
Conclusion: it was not a 5 star experience overall. Not even a 3 star, as we’ve stayed at a 3 star in Krabi just before that, and it was much much smoother than in Zeavola, so 2 stars. Please focus on training your staff - offering a vegetarian menu when they hear a vegetarian order, learning and knowing their wines, speaking a little better English. And please, please do better at check out dealing with bills.

Favorite resort I have ever been to, the spa, the food, the room, the dive center and the breakfast are all amazing. A truly unique experience where you feel you are a part of the wildlife and experiencing the elements while having the utmost luxurious time. Staff was super kind and friends. Huge shoutout to one of the waiters Nico. Sit back and relax and enjoy this wonderful place with an amazing beach
