The resort operates a daily speedboat transfer service from Phuket, and includes pick-up from Phuket International Airport. The airport is approximately half an hours’ drive from the marina, and then the boat ride takes just over 1 hour. It’s also possible to reach the island from Krabi.

Absolute paradise. This resort is the most peaceful, relaxing and welcoming place you can find. From the incredible and friendly staff, to the gorgeous views and delicious food, you will certainly not be disappointed by your stay here. The details and small touches are unmatched. The place is a piece of heaven, with a barefoot magnet atmosphere. The service should be improved in terms of communication and how they manage guest requests. The cleaning services should also be improved. They bring a nice small gift every night, which is a nice touch. The pool was perfect, and the beach area was really nice too. There should be more options for food, and the dinner restaurant should offer a different menu than the pool menu. The hotel should work on these points to satisfy their guests' experience.

This hotel was like heaven on earth! Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious. I would recommend getting a coconut cocktail on the beach - an experience like no other! We brought mosquito repellent to the island from the mainland, and put it on every day. We weren’t bothered by bites doing this.

Amazing hotel in an exceptional & peaceful setting. Absolutely incredible food & drinks. The chef comes out & greets you for every meal (he was on Iron Chef!). Gorgeous beach area. Very easy to book excursions through the hotel. The rooms are quiet and have beautiful views. There is a big emphasis on sustainability which is great. BRING BUG SPRAY - you’re within the jungle, so there are lots of bugs so be aware. But other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Considering my experiences at Zeavola Resort, which were marred by shortcomings in service, average quality of meals, issues with mosquitoes, and limited entertainment options, it appears that labeling this place as a five-star hotel is an overstatement. While the environment might seem idyllic, the reality is that the quality of services and overall experience do not meet the level expected from such a highly rated establishment.
Based on my experiences and perceived shortcomings, I would assign Zeavola Resort a rating between 3.5 to 4 stars. This rating takes into account primarily the gap between the advertised luxury and the actual experience, encompassing everything from the quality of service to dining and recreational opportunities. Although the resort has the potential to offer a beautiful relaxation experience, it seems to lack a focus on detail and a commitment to excellence that matches the expectations associated with its nominal rating.
In summary, my experiences at Zeavola Resort suggest that it would be more appropriate to set future guests' expectations with a realistic view of what they can actually expect, which in this case means a service level corresponding to a 3.5 to 4-star hotel, rather than the dreamt-up five-star paradise.
