From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay — genuinely kind, attentive, and always eager to help. The villa itself was stunning — spacious, private, and beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of luxury and nature. Waking up to the serene views of lush gardens and the sound of the ocean was pure magic. The facilities were world-class. From the serene spa treatments to the crystal-clear pool, the private beach area, and the elegant restaurants offering delicious local and international cuisine — every aspect of the resort is thoughtfully crafted to offer total relaxation and indulgence. The overall ambiance of the hotel is something special — peaceful, romantic, and intimate — ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in a true paradise. I stayed at White Sand Luxury Villas, Zanzibar for two days, and it was one of the most peaceful, thoughtfully managed properties I’ve experienced. The 2-bedroom family villa was spacious and pristine, with a private pool and elegant touches throughout. One of the most surreal moments was waking up to the sound of birds, trees swaying, water moving in the pool, and watching the white curtains hung around the bed and at the doors move gently in the breeze. It’s hard to describe how peaceful it felt; the environment itself did all the work. One detail that really stood out: even though the beach is public, the hotel meticulously maintains the stretch it overlooks. As the tide recedes, staff regularly clean the sand and remove algae. It’s something many resorts overlook, but here it’s done quietly and consistently. They provide electric bikes for exploring both the property and its surroundings, which added a laid-back but convenient touch. The dining was excellent. The set menu, breakfast, and dinner were beautifully plated and genuinely enjoyable. I appreciated the cultural live music performances during dinner, which added depth without feeling performative. Service was discreet and well-paced. Having a private butler was useful, though I preferred keeping things low-contact. A mention to Germina, who handled dinner service with a calm confidence and professionalism that didn’t go unnoticed. White Sand is the kind of place you go to disconnect without sacrificing standards. Quiet, refined, and exactly what it promises to be.

This was the last stop on our safari trip. We spent two nights here and it was luxury. Quiet and peaceful. Food was excellent and had good variety. We enjoyed having a butler reachable via WhatsApp to help coordinate everything. They even let us have late checkout for a very late evening flight. It was well worth the cost.
