We had an incredible time at Domes Aulus. The standout was the service and the location. On the service front, Andreas from customer relations was a hero. He took great care of us and will be one of the reasons we come back. On the location front, it can’t be beat. Right on the beach and walking distance to an active nightlife scene it was perfect. We were there for 10 days and felt we could have easily stayed another 10. Would recommend booking restaurant meals and other activities right when you check in as they do book up.

Our stay at Domes was lovely. We stayed for 10 days in a sapphire sea view room which was spacious, clean and had an incredible view. We paid to upgrade the room to a sea view which I would definitely recommend (we were at the beach front). The food at the hotel was outstanding with the buffet being different each night and the restaurants being high quality food with great menus. The all inclusive options were great, the cocktails were fantastic and there was food available from different places pretty much all day. There were lots of places to sit, and one pool but it is right on the beach. The staff are all really nice especially the ones as you enter the hotel in the reception area - special shout-out to Andreas who was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay, he arranged a boat trip and car rental, as well as recommending which places to visit on the island. He also helped my partner surprise me for my birthday with flowers and cake in the room!

Just returned from a week here with my family. I would say our experience staying here was a real mixed bag. Positives: Flexible kids club open 6 days a week which was great. Food quality was decent. Some of the staff were very warm and helpful. Negatives: * Bedrooms were not cleaned properly each day even when we asked for this. * Limited range of dining options - we were told we would be able to book the restaurants when we arrived. We were not able to book a table in one of the restaurants (Grilia). Be aware that if you are staying for a week you will only be able to book a table in each of the a la carte restaurants once. Otherwise you will be stuck with the buffet. Buffet food was quite decent quality but the ambiance was stressful self-service vibe with inattentive waiting staff replenishing drinks etc. * The pool was small and heaving with children. The whole pool area wasn’t very clean and had some strange smells. * location - close to the airport which is a bonus on one hand but it is noisy during the day when flights are taking off and landing. * some of the staff were impolite and did not treat us with the manner we would expect in a 5 star hotel. * No late check out available despite having a late flight home on day of departure and not allowed to use shower facilities in another room, despite being told in advance more than once that this would be possible. Overall, the hotel did not feel like a 5 star experience and we would not recommend it.
