This hotel could be so lovely - and yet we have come away from our holiday (which we have waited a long time for and saved up!) feeling stressed and disappointed. The staff on the whole are lovely and work very hard, but the hotel let's itself down as others have remarked - there's only one snack bar open during the day - the pool bar wasn't open for the entirety of our stay - which meant the snack bar couldn't cope with demand - there's no table service/bed service around the pool - you need to go and get your drinks, and at the bar at night too. Quite often, the queue would be 5-10 people deep. You don't want to be queuing for your whole holiday. There was also an hour when the snack bar closed and the night time bar hadn't opened yet - so no drinks available at all. If this is advertised as an all inclusive then it should be an all inclusive. The only god send was the air conditioning in the room worked a treat - other than that there weren't many places to go and sit and cool down other than your room - the air conditioning didn't seem to be on in the restaurant or bar areas indoors. The table service in the restaurant at night was brilliant - couldn't fault it - just everywhere else was disappointing. The food was OK - but some of the dishes were questionable - reheating of chicken one night - not great! Don't stay here if you want to truly chill out, because you can't! Which is disappointing when you pay a lot of money for it. A positive - it is quiet and people are respectful around the pool in the day to be quiet, also, the fitness lady is brilliant and very positive.- offering aqua aerobics, yoga and quizzes too.

Beautiful hotel, superb staff, very low occupancy due to still being renovated. Food choice was excellent. All inclusive very good although no food available on arrival at 4.15pm, only had to wait until 6pm, but had been traveling for 10 hours. Activities coordinator Livia was an excellent asset and made my holiday. She was so welcoming and encouraging, friendly and smiley. Disappointed that there was no evening entertainment at all. Shouldn’t have been locked out of the bar at 10.30pm. Location of rooms was disappointing when the hotel was so quiet, would have been nice to be offered an upgrade. Had a very relaxing and comfortable holiday. Keen to try other Zafiro hotels in different locations. Thanks for having us

This hotel is excellent. Food, room comfort, staff we could not fault. Very relaxing pool area and cocktails were great! We had a week here but wanted to stay longer. Only improvement for me would be some nice music around the pool. Staff were particularly helpful all round and very consistent with their daily smiles and politeness. Highly recommend this hotel. Great value for money.

Amazing hotel for perfect couple to get away, staff were friendly and the hotel including rooms are very clean! Drinks and food choices were also amazing. Had no issues staying with this hotel. I would definitely come back. Our check out was at 12pm but our flights were till 10pm, so we were allowed to stay and use the services till the very last minute and left our luggage in the store room. Amazing! Recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel as a solo female traveler in early 30s wanting to relax for a week. Really spacious luxurious room. Gym was well equipped and an added bonus. Beach was 10 minute walk away. Pool was really large and relaxing. As a foodie who usually loves dining out on holiday I had reservations about the food. I was impressed, lovely fresh bread and salads. Always fresh cooked fish and meat options, normally a rice dish and pasta everyday. Breakfast had European style meat cheese etc and full English options. Although I would say sausages were always anaemic or hot dogs which was a bit disappointing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Only gripe was allowing people to reserve sunbeds with towels despite it saying in their welcome pack they wouldn’t, often couldn’t get a sunbed after 10am but people not using theirs till gone lunch was frustrating. Can Picafort was a quiet purpose built retirement style beach town, nice promenade and shops but not really an authentic Spanish experience. Still I came to relax and do nothing and I can’t fault the hotel really. Adults only is heaven. Would recommend and stay at Zafiro again.
