I’ve stayed in a lot of beach hotels over the years from Delaware to Florida and this was the worse. Rooms location was right next to I-4 so highway traffic noise was day & night only being blocked by the grinding noise the a/c unit made when it came on. The tv only received 2 channels that you could watch because the rest did not have a good satellite single. The rooms condition was poor, rust and mildew on door frames & surfaces, paint peeling and chipping away, air vents were dirty. Room cleanliness was also poor, when entering 3 things stood out 1 open soap on the tub, 2 towel on the floor & 3 ( remember men lift the toilet seat) under the toilet seat was disgusting. We found after 2 nights that there was mold on our mattress cover. When we asked for a new cover & sheets we was asked ( by what we think was the cleaning staff manager) was it our day for service? After explaining again there was mold on the bed the cleaning staff brought new bedding. The pool bar was ok when it was open, the dining area had ok food but you will wait because it’s also a Starbucks and only one person works that side and the register. Laundry room was dirty. We did our own cleaning because we had our pets and made the best of it because of the holidays. I would not recommend staying here but if you do, check the room and bring your own cleaning supplies, if you need some there is a Walgreens down the street or Target will deliver there.

Our stay at this resort was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The first room we were given had roaches, which is completely unacceptable. After complaining, we were moved to a second room—only to find it was not the room type we originally booked. The issues didn’t stop there. The microwave was visibly dirty, the toilet clogged after just one use and nearly overflowed, and the in-room phone did not work, making it difficult to contact guest services when problems arose. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. The room was left with garbage on the floors, dirty towels, and to make matters worse, housekeeping took the only blanket we had, leaving us without proper bedding. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, and instead it was stressful, uncomfortable, and frankly unhygienic. For the amount of money paid, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Staff was extremely dismissive about our concerns and complaints. We would not recommend this resort to anyone and will not be returning

Not sure of all the bad reviews. We stayed in a king bed in the tower building for a week. It was spacious, clean, and not noisy at all. Room service was efficient. Cafe had good breakfast. The ONLY thing I could comment on is that the bed is the hardest bed I have ever slept on and the blankets the thinnest sheets I’ve ever seen, but nothing you can’t sleep on after a long day on vacation with family

I checked in on January 1 and am scheduled to check out on January 7. I am currently staying at the Wyndham Avanti with my son while visiting Universal Studios for his birthday. For the first several days, the stay was uneventful. On January 4, security knocked on our door stating that a neighboring guest reported hearing our television. We immediately complied and lowered the volume. The following evening, after returning to our room around 10:30 PM, we watched television at a low and reasonable volume. Around 12:00 AM, the neighboring guest knocked on our door and stated that the TV was too loud and that quiet hours were in effect. The interaction was uncomfortable but non-confrontational on my part. After this encounter, I contacted the front desk to report the situation and request assistance. The same security guard from the prior evening responded and assumed we were at fault, despite the fact that I was the reporting guest. No objective assessment was conducted, and the neighboring guest was not addressed at that time. When I went to the front desk in person, the neighboring guest made false statements, claiming that I was aggressive, “not nice,” and that I wanted to fight him. These statements were completely untrue. I did not threaten, raise my voice, or behave aggressively at any point. Despite this, security did not correct the narrative or intervene to clarify events, which left me feeling unfairly labeled and treated. Apparently, this other gas has been staying at the hotel for multiple months (He said for work). And it’s known to the entire staff by name Which gave me the impression that he felt like he owned the place. As a business owner, I understand accommodating all your guest but what Do not appreciate were the blade and micro aggression from security and the dismissive nature of my concern for my By the hotel. As a result of how the situation was handled, I felt discriminated against and unsupported as a guest seeking assistance. I would like to acknowledge Nikki at the front desk, who was professional and courteous, though her efforts were not matched by security’s handling of the situation. I am sharing this review to document the events accurately and to encourage management to review how guest disputes are handled, how assumptions of fault are avoided, and how staff ensure all guests are treated fairly and respectfully. This experience occurred during the final days of an otherwise acceptable stay and significantly impacted my overall impression of the property. As a Wyndham rewards member I’ve stayed across the world. I’ve never been so appalled at a behavior of another guest

So this one is on International drive, there’s another one with a similar name! The other is way better obviously. The other has free breakfast, this one does not. This is just not great, little run down and it’s not really what I expected to be honest. The other one room’s floor is carpeted in the pictures, this one has those cheap vinyl plastic floors. That’s how you can tell the difference. We quickly booked off Expedia and I definitely should have looked more closely at the address and details; it’s not bad but it’s not great either. I also really dislike their stucco (?) style wall and ceiling all around, maybe it’s a Florida thing. Lobby’s nice! Edit: the lady that says they clean the rooms everyday is lying or wrong. You need to call them or let them know 24 hrs in advance if you want the room cleaned. They don’t; we’ve been here now 3 days and the room has not been cleaned once. No biggie; but yeah if you request for a cleaning, I think it’s extra charge or something. Edit: okay they finally came on Friday, in the morning I guess after our fourth night. The bathroom was starting to stink lol
