Our 5-day, 4-night stay was wonderful overall. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful — spotless, well-maintained, and visually stunning. Cleanliness was never an issue, and the food was surprisingly quite good. That said, there are a few things to note. We visited in mid-October, which is apparently a slower time of year. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is perfect. However, for us, it felt a little too quiet, with very little entertainment happening around the resort. The staff were all lovely and kind, but service tended to be on the slower side. The beach directly attached to the resort isn’t swimmable due to rough waters, though there’s a complimentary shuttle to a gorgeous beach called Carlisle Bay, about 40 minutes away. There were three restaurants on site; however, the main buffet offered limited selection, especially for children. I wouldn’t recommend this resort for families with kids, as there isn’t much in terms of kid-friendly dining or activities. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing trip — perfect for couples or anyone looking for a calm, quiet escape.

I had the honor and privilege of staying in the two-bedroom Presidential Suite at this resort, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. I brought a group to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the suite was perfect — luxurious, spacious, and comfortable. We were even able to host a few group activities thanks to the plush accommodations. I highly recommend this resort, and especially this suite, for anyone looking for a truly special experience!

My 5-day day stay(10/11-16-2025) at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All-Inclusive Resort was pleasant, however it fell short of expectations. I do want to say the staff were welcoming and appeared to enjoy working there. My expectation (based on the website) was higher than what I actually received. In reference to the amenities listed on the website, they were limited to the fact that my stay was doing the off-season (which I was constantly reminded of) 1- Shuttle service was limited to once per day (and not every day), with a capacity of 12. So, if you were not one of the 12 to sign up you would have to secure your own transportation. 2- On my first two days there, we have the luxury of having a buffet poolside. After that meals were limited to what was on the bar menu. We were told because there were limited guests they could not continue with the buffet. 3- The concierge was great and did provide us with useful information about the island and local activities. 4- The resort was all-inclusive except for in-room service delivery fees. So the food was free, however, there was a $25 charge per delivery. 5- Although there were burners under the food, unless you get there when it was first put out, it was cold. (and there are not microwaves). I do want to point out that the food was good and the selection was adequate. 6- The selections of dining options, in my opinion, were a bit misleading. We ate in the Mediterranean market(main dining location) which I believe was the main dining area for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The castle view restaurant boasts to be fine dining and required a reservation. Yes, the food was good, however, and it was not "fine dining" in any way. Also, they advertised "brunch" which they were not doing during the "off" season. As stated earlier the poolside buffet (Sam Lord's grill) was discontinued after my 2nd day (yes-it was the "off season") I may or may not return during "peak" season to see how the difference. Overall, the stay was relaxing, and the island is beautiful.

This was our second trip to Barbados this year, but our first time staying at Wyndham. The grounds were well-maintained and clean. The staff members were professional. (My husband and I found it quite interesting that they seemed to address only me and rarely spoke to him about anything! Lol) When we arrived, the hotel had a power outage — and unfortunately, that happened several times throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and clean, with a decent view of the pool and ocean. The only downside was that the table on the balcony could have been larger. There weren’t too many restaurants to choose from, but I did enjoy breakfast at the buffet and dinner at Castle View. However, the chicken at the buffet was undercooked each time I tried it. The drinks were just okay. On the plus side, water and quick bites were always available at Lucy’s Lounge, which was convenient. The entertainment was great! We enjoyed the live bands. Overall, Wyndham was fine, but I don't think we'd return. We prefer adult-only resorts, and we were hoping for more dining options. While it was a great deal, we've had better experiences at other places.

This All inclusive was wonderful! Booked it for a weekend birthday getaway for my boyfriend and we both fully enjoyed the services. Staff were Great and customer service was beyond great! Fine dining dinner was A1, pool was very nice. The grounds are kept clean and beautiful, we Walked around the property and it was wonderful! We are definitely going to be back. Thank you!
