The Westin Turtle Bay is a true oasis of tranquility – a dreamlike property with a beautifully maintained estate. While the building itself is slightly older, it is well cared for and exudes a charming character that perfectly complements the serene atmosphere. During our stay, we experienced a minor water issue in the room due to heavy rainfall. The staff responded immediately and resolved it with great professionalism, which speaks volumes about the hotel’s excellent service standards. The team here deserves special praise: consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. After several hotel stops across Mauritius, we felt particularly welcomed and valued at this property. Breakfast is simply outstanding – varied, fresh, and of exceptional quality. The drinks are equally superb, adding the perfect finishing touch to the culinary experience. Conclusion The Westin Turtle Bay impresses with its well-kept grounds, heartfelt hospitality, and high level of service. Even small challenges are handled swiftly and with care, ensuring guests feel completely at ease. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

Spent the day at this amazing resort. Had lunch and enjoyed the amenities. Very friendly staff, always going out of their way to wow the guests. Food at beach grill was excellent, both in taste and potion size. Had few drinks: preferred the Paloma vs Tecoma, and my favorite was the aged Mauritius dark rum that was better than a single malt whisky during lunch by the beach. Facility is properly maintained, but could be improved, with evidence signs of wear and tear, rust, etc. Grounds are properly maintained, beautiful landscaping.

We stayed at The Westin Turtle Bay Resort for 1 week in November. Overall it was a great time, and we had a nice week. I would say this is a very good 4 star or a very low 5 star hotel for the following reasons: Pros - Very beautiful location, right on the water with several beach access points. Clean and bright property. - Large room, comfortable bed - Easy parking - Diverse breakfast buffet - Kind and helpful hotel staff - Efficient and skilled cleaning staff Cons - Slightly run down room with broken toilet paper holder, little rusty looking in the corners. - Staff don't quite reach 5 star standards yet. Could have better personalized care. Had some delays and forgetfulness around requests. Some individuals were brilliant, others not as much. Saw some staff members playing video games in the games room on break I'm assuming. Good enough for 4 star hotels but not fully at 5 star level. This Westin is a great vacation property but not fully on a 5 star level yet. But don't let that stop you from enjoying a holiday here.

My family and I just returned after a 10 day stay at the Westin. This was our second trip to Mauritius and staying at the same hotel. We were last here 7 years ago and our experience then was nothing short of incredible. Second time round and all I can say is that whilst the resort is still as beautiful as I remember it, it is still the service and staff that make the hotel experience one of the best I’ve experienced. Right from the moment you arrive, to the point of departure you are treated with so much warmth and generosity. The hotel itself is breath taking, the most gorgeous views of the sea and a stunning pool. As soon as you enter and walk through the lobby and take in the views from the Retreat Bar you will feel you are in paradise. We had a beautiful beachfront room which was spacious, always kept very clean and with a stunning view. The housekeeping staff do a wonderful job of keeping the hotel and rooms looking beautiful, always working on the gardens, keeping pools clean and ensuring various hotel features are looking their best. The dining experience was wonderful, with so many options for myself (vegan) and my family (vegetarian) at the different restaurants. Staff at all the restaurants were so accommodating and the quality of food is up there with the best, as was the variety. A special shout out to staff from across the different restaurants, you made our dining experience so wonderful. We felt very well taken care of! Special shout out to Manisha for creating wonderful pasta dishes for my son, Sania for my breakfast dosas each morning, Davinia for welcoming us so wonderfully each morning, the spectacular omelette chef, Avikesh / Priyanka / Ravi for being such charming hosts, Safida for taking care of my kids’ pancake needs each morning, Chef Prashant from Kangan (the most gorgeous Indian restaurant with a beautiful setting and delicious food) - and dear Vimal who we met 7 years ago when we last came and who took such care of us back then - and who once again received us with the same warmth and kindness as he did back then. We were so glad to see you again! Thank you to Indiana, Keshav, Yoan and Deepeeka who sit at the front of the hotel and were so accommodating to our needs, it’s this level of service that really helps elevate peoples’ hotel experiences. Thank you also to Kavish and Nadim. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch all names, but the whole team is truly wonderful! And then to the most charming and full of swag pool and beach team who made time at the pool full of great fun and banter. The team work so hard to keep meeting orders and do it with smiles on their faces. I will miss my daily chats with them! Mauritian charm, generosity and swag at its best! I hope to see you all again - Jerome, Vedou, Steven, Dylan, Lovish, Noah, Shuban - and of course Nazz for taking extra special care of me! A huge thank you to Lebon and the rest of the entertainment team who made pool time fun with a variety of activities from aqua gym to waterpolo. And then the wonderful array of evening entertainment, from music to dance to fire shows - this really elevated our hotel experience each night. A special shout out to Usma at the spa for our wonderful Balinese massages! Thank you to all the team for making such a special effort to make our stay so memorable. We hope to return again soon!

The location is absolutely stunning! The staff was amazingly friendly, the food was delicious and the deco was so so beautiful! Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room clean as well!! A special thank you to Kavi, Jameel, Chris, Lebon, Yoan, Vedou, Nass and Dylan they are all such exceptional hosts!! Will definitely visit again as we made friends that’s are now our family!! I really didn’t want to leave!! Keep up the 5 star treatment you guys are just the best!! 💖💐🤗
