The beds and pillows were fine, but overall our stay was disappointing. Room service (cleaning staff) never came the entire day, even after we asked specifically for more toilet paper and towels. On top of that, our room had a hole in the ceiling, which felt unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The pool area was also a letdown during part of our stay. They hosted a large event/concert there (some kind of blues show), which meant that while you could still use the pool after 12 PM, you were not allowed to leave the pool area, and it became extremely crowded with very limited access to chairs. Once the event was over, the pool was actually quite nice and much more enjoyable. On the positive side, the gym was very good. And it was a really nice Uber pick up. And the location was nice, the strip and other nice places to visit was not that far away (u can’t walk but still not the longest drive). You could also take the monorail. However, the staff were not particularly friendly. When we asked what kind of beds were in our room, we were met with a dismissive and quite negative “that’s what you ordered, sir” instead of a polite explanation. Overall, not the service or experience we expected. A couple of good facilities, but the negatives outweighed the positives.

My first visit to Westgate was to Benihana and was delicious; Moto and the chef were great. The second time to Westgate was out of this world. I stopped by to get some editorial work done while hanging out at the Viva cafe since parking is a good deal. I didn’t expect to end up having such a cool time. I had to ask Frank the security guard to guide me to the restroom, as I had gotten lost. On our way, I had mentioned I’d stopped by to get some work done here specifically because I grew up in love with Elvis and convinced I’d marry him until I found out he passed away 20 years before I was born. Frank had a good laugh and said “boy do I have a story for you.” He got to tell me all about Elvis’s final show in July 1976, the experiences he had, the people he met. All the while doing his security responsibilities. Very impressive. Westgate is lucky to have Frank the local legend keeping Elvis’s legend local and more alive than ever. Ask him about his family and his other passions. You’ll get to hear some cool stories. Tell me when you decide to hire him for the tour department and l will be the first to sign up😉

Great hotel overall! The location is ideal for anyone who wants the option to pop in and out of the Strip atmosphere. If you’re driving it’s a great spot too. The hotel itself is very bright, clean and has lovely staff! Big thanks to Vonda who checked us in and made us feel right at home. Getting a taxi from the front door is easy and the casino itself has a variety of options. Pool is ample for hanging out in the sun and the gym has plenty of cardio facilities

I booked this hotel specifically because it offered direct access to the convention center, but that access was frequently closed off by the hotel without notice. This meant I had to walk all the way around the building just to get back to my room, which was incredibly inconvenient, especially after long days at the convention. Once inside, I waited over 15 minutes for an elevator, which felt excessive given the size and reputation of the hotel. The room itself was basic and lacked essential amenities — no tea kettle, no microwave, and not even complimentary bottled water. For the price, I expected more. To top it off, friends staying on the North side of the hotel discovered bedbugs in their room. They’re now having to clean all of their clothes and belongings, which is the last thing anyone wants to deal with during a trip. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I expected better from a property in this category. Hopefully management takes steps to improve both service and guest experience. Guests included myself and my boyfriend. My friends were also two couples.

We love the Westgate after the Riviera closed down 10 yrs ago our casino host moved us over to the Westgate and we went to a few other Casinos but always came back to the Westgate! We love our host Mary she is the absolute best always goes above and beyond couldn’t ask for a better one that’s for sure. The Westgate from our LimoDrivers to Dealers , Floor attendants, Bartenders and Cocktail girls are always friendly and never forget us as soon as we walk thru the doors they are always giving us hugs this is our home away from home they are our family !! Mr Westgate is one of my favorites here picture to enjoy
