I stayed here for a work trip. They said our rooms would be ready by 1pm. We tried to check in at 2pm and rooms weren’t ready and they couldn’t even guarantee us a 3pm check in. They did switch our rooms to double queens instead of kings to get us in sooner but our rooms didn’t have hot water for 24 hours. A friend that was also there for work was charged $1100 instead $100 for a holding fee. They told her she couldn’t get her money back for 7-10 days. They couldn’t have cared less about their mistake. She was late on her bills and all they offered was money off on her next stay when they know good and well none of us would stay there ever again. The location was ok. There wasn’t much to do in this hotel either. Smells awful when you walk in because you can smoke in the casino part and it’s right there when you walk in the doors. My view from my room was good and the beds were comfortable. Cleanliness was 7/10 for me but some of my coworkers had a lower rating. These few things are the only reason I am not giving a 1 star.

Rooms were so dated! But I think that’s not surprising for Vegas. Overall I had a good time here, the place was very spacious and many seemed to enjoy the entertainment and games in the lobby. The restaurant choices were also fantastic. I enjoyed attending a conference here for work. The halls were large and well lit, and had a middle partition that is outdoors for seating, which was a nice break from the more sterile showroom floors.

We have really enjoyed our stay here. We got checked in at 12noon because Craig-front desk was able to accommodate us. This is the best part because driving from LA was exhausting. The first impression from his welcoming gesture and professionalism made our stay even better. I hope all frost desk staff work like CRAIG. Wow! Give him a raise and an award! I love the gym because it has lots of treadmill and it is spacious. Pool is really nice too!

Well, in my opinion, the standard room is in need of an upgrade. Each room has a fridge, but no microwave. The carpet needs to be cleaned and/or replaced, as well as the wallpaper in the hallways that is peeling away from the wall, and the room doors/kick pads and walls need to be wiped down. The showers are very nice. I wanted to swap dirty towels for clean ones, and the housekeeper told me she would not give me towels unless she cleaned my entire room, which was odd. It is a resort, and I toured the upgraded rooms and while they are very nice and they tell you, "NO PRESSURE," don't believe it! They try to hold you CAPTIVE in an effort to convince you to buy. Attend the Timeshare presentation at your own risk! There are restaurants and stores inside the hotel, which are of course a bit pricey, but Vegas is now trending that way. Parking was free so that was a big plus, and the fitness center and the pool are absolutely beautiful!

My stay at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino was a mixed bag. While the room itself was a definite highlight – a clean, well-maintained studio on a high floor with a fantastic view of the city – the booking process was unnecessarily complicated. Initially attempting to reserve a one-bedroom apartment, I encountered system glitches that seemed to inflate the price, forcing me to settle for a studio. Thankfully, the studio proved comfortable, with excellent daily room service. However, the shower drain was clogged, which was a minor inconvenience. The resort boasts an impressive array of amenities: restaurants, bars, nightly entertainment, a gym, and a tennis court. Unfortunately, the pool and spa were closed for the majority of my March stay, despite the pleasant 20-24°C weather, which was puzzling as other resorts had their pools open. The inconsistency continued when I asked the receptionist about the pool's opening for my final day, only to be told it was closed due to the off-season. Imagine my surprise when it was open the next day! This lack of communication between staff and management was frustrating. Beyond the dining and gaming options, there's a noticeable lack of comfortable, casual spaces for relaxation and conversation, limiting social interaction outside of structured environments. While the Westgate offers a lot, the inconsistent service and communication issues detract from the overall experience. I would recommend it with caveats.
