⭐ Rating: 4/5 Stayed: 2 nights / 3 days I finally had the chance to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok after hearing so many great things, and while the hotel is undeniably luxurious with excellent service, my experience was a mix of highs and lows. The overall design is elegant, but the layout wasn’t very convenient. To access the lobby/check-in area, the rooms, or even the breakfast floor, you have to switch between multiple elevators, which made moving around a bit confusing at times. The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast. The variety felt limited, and the circular layout of the restaurant made it difficult to see all the food stations. It just wasn’t my preferred design or breakfast experience. Room Service food was delicious (although on the pricey side), but it took around 45+ minutes to arrive. Another small detail was that our room didn’t have a mirror except inside the bathroom, which felt unusual for a hotel of this level. The pool area was nice but on the smaller side — lovely, but nothing particularly memorable. On the positive side, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional, and the room itself was comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, I’d give the stay around 3.5 to 4 stars — not because of the quality of service, but simply due to personal preferences in layout and design.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel warmly welcomed. The service was exceptional in every detail, and the staff were consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s facilities — especially the pool, gym and the great dining options. Everything contributed to a truly relaxing and memorable stay. A special thank-you to the Front Desk team for their warm communication and support. We felt very well taken care of throughout our visit. To be honest we’ve stayed many hotels with a lot better service and room amenities. Employees do not seem to be very motivated to provide personalized service. For example no one in the restaurant is aware it was my husband birthday when we were there. Front desk did not provide any information of the hotel amenities until we asked a bunch of questions…things like that. Everything felt standard. However, we need to give compliments to whoever’s in charge of food quality control. We had several meals in house and none made us disappointed. Food itself deserved a five star. Hopefully hotel can improve service in the future to make it a full package experience.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless: the most welcoming check-in we’ve ever had, a calming and luxurious atmosphere that felt like a true retreat after exploring Bangkok, and staff who were genuinely kind, intuitive, and clearly proud of their work. Our room was thoughtfully designed, and yes—I’ll say it—the toilet was so good it made me look forward to bathroom visits. That’s a first. We hit a snag with the internet, but the team responded instantly with on-site IT support and even brought a backup hotspot to our room. That kind of proactive care is rare. If you value elegance, warmth, and service that anticipates your needs, this is the place. Waldorf Astoria Bangkok doesn’t just meet expectations—it redefines them.

It lives up to its name / reputation! Front desk was friendly and professional! Personal Concierge was in constant communication with our plan which is great. Room was clean and spacious. In-room dining was excellent. Dishes ordered were all fresh and delicious. Enjoyed our breakfast buffet experience! We did not swim on the pool but we had a great time enjoying the view and took pictures at the pool. Highly recommended if you are looking for 5 star hotel that offers outstanding service from booking to check-out!
