Our stay at W Muscat was absolutely perfect from check-in to checkout. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The room has an incredible oriental luxurious vibe — elegant, warm, and beautifully designed. One feature we especially loved was the two moving bathroom walls, which allow you to completely modulate the space according to your mood and preference. It’s such a unique and thoughtful touch that truly elevates the experience. Housekeeping deserves special recognition for their outstanding attention to detail. The two services per day were impeccable, and we never once had to buy water because there were always complimentary bottles waiting for us in the room — a small detail that makes a big difference. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations, both in quantity and variety. There is an impressive selection of occidental, Indian, and Middle Eastern dishes, all beautifully presented and delicious. The variety of fresh juices was also exceptional — watermelon, orange, carrot, pineapple, apple, ginger, and many more. It was the perfect way to start each day. Last but definitely not least, a big thank you to the entire staff. We truly felt welcomed, appreciated, and valued throughout our stay.

This was our preferred hotel in Muscat. Firstly the black lady working at the reception was extremely helpful, friendly and informative. Amazing first impressive ignoring the beautiful design of the lobby. We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise and the room was huge! The only thing worth considering being W it's a little quirky so the huge bathroom had no wall to the bedroom. We thought it was cool but if you are more prudish perhaps consider a different room. Breakfast was delicious but not quite as pro-active as the staff at the St Regis. Hassan who works in Burger and Lobster which was delicious was also very welcoming. He made an effort to interact with us and clearly is a people person. Only odd part and perhaps this is a learning curve or cultural issue was a man in a blue suit at the front door. I said morning he didn't say anything. He then turned to his colleague ignoring me. His colleague realised that there was a problem and gestured but it had been so long I simply said "you're clearly too busy I'll ask someone else" I was honestly annoyed but I suspect he doesn't speak English and apparently in Omani culture it's typical to scan the room once and then be done.

Absolutely beautiful and fantastic hotel from top to bottom. We spent 2 nights and the only disappointment was having to leave. From the moment you walk in, the W staff ensures everything is well taken care of. The GM, Kiki, is wonderful and so attentive. The facilities, pool, rooms and food/drink were all superb. I would stay here again and only wish other hotels strived for the same. Breakfast has everything imaginable with the utmost quality. Pool and as beautiful and refreshing. Location is second to none. Overall if you want an enjoyable stay in Muscat, don’t hesitate to book the W. Ps - also stayed one night at the JW but would easily choose the W

Our stay at W Muscat was an exceptional experience from start to finish and truly exceeded our expectations, especially as a family travelling with kids. The resort strikes a perfect balance between luxury and family-friendly comfort. The pools were a major highlight for our children — spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed so kids could enjoy themselves safely while adults relaxed nearby. Direct access to the beach was another big plus, making it incredibly easy to move between pool time and seaside walks without any hassle. The beach itself is well maintained, calm, and ideal for families. Food was outstanding across the resort. Every meal felt well curated, with a strong focus on quality ingredients, variety, and presentation. Whether it was breakfast or dining later in the day, the options catered well to both adults and children, which made mealtimes enjoyable rather than stressful. The service staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely accommodating toward families, which made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. Despite its stylish and modern vibe, W Muscat remains very welcoming for families. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, allowing everyone to relax after a full day of activities. Everything felt well organised and professionally managed without ever feeling rigid or restrictive. Overall, W Muscat is an excellent choice for families looking for a high-quality beach resort that offers luxury, comfort, and genuine family friendliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We booked and fully paid for a honeymoon package at W Muscat, including a premium room. This was a significant expense and meant to be a special trip. Due to a flight cancellation, we contacted the hotel in advance and were assured by hotel representatives that our reservation would be shifted one week later. We relied on this confirmation and planned accordingly. The hotel later went back on their word, refused to honor the agreed date change, and kept the full payment despite providing no service and no stay. Because of this reversal, we were also forced to cancel our second flight, resulting in additional loss. We have sent multiple emails seeking resolution and are still awaiting a response. To date, there has been no refund and no meaningful communication. Our interactions with Manager Mamadou and Sales Manager Mohamed were dismissive and unprofessional, which was especially disappointing given the hotel’s 5-star branding. We are Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and expected this issue to be handled with basic professionalism and integrity. As of now, this matter remains unresolved. This experience does not align with luxury hospitality or Marriott standards. We would strongly caution others booking important occasions.
