Amazing place, amazing people, amazing location! Kids animations made by Helena and the team were just top class, entertaining the kids along with the parents. A very warm thank you as well to Rachel and Jakob from the front desk reception who made us feel warmly welcome since we’ve entered the premises. Without forgetting the waiters teams and Toni extremely attentive to every one of our needs! Viva staff made our stay truly enjoyable and worth every penny. Thank you ❤️

We stayed in the room with a kitchenette and we cooked. Summary of good and bad for us. Kitchen Too small if you’re planning to do more than reheat things in a microwave, no dish rack, hob takes 10min to boil water in pot, no space in cupboards to store anything, no bowls, only small cups, no scissors, no colander. Good: filter coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, frying pan Bathroom: nice and big, two sinks, great shower, storage, no complaints whatsoever. Bedroom: socket only on one side of bed, otherwise comfortable. Overall: building was very noisy (from other guests, mainly kids), not much noise cancellation between rooms. Unfortunately the adult-only hotel nearby was closed. There are quite a few buildings so maybe they could have a dedicated kids-free building or part of the building. It was great to have bracelet to open room door instead of carrying a card or key. Spa facilities were disappointing. Swimming pool required key which we had to get from reception (on another floor), and it occasionally got lost. It would be ideal to be able to open it with a bracelet. Very small saunas (2 people max) which also required booking and keys. The biggest problem was that there were no changing rooms next to indoor pool or saunas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in a restaurant was plentiful and good value for money but nothing to shout about. Amazing location if you want to be away from city, plenty of hiking opportunities around. Beware there is no parking directly near the hotel, you have to walk. You can park outside the reception to unload but then it can still be quite far to your room in another building. Parking in the village around hotel was quite limited (we were there in March, can’t imagine high season).

We had the chance to stay at the two hotels : Viva Cala Mesquida Resort and Viva Cala Mesquida Suites & SPA. For those travellings with children, we highly recommend the resort, as it has everything from animation, to playgrounds and pools for children, but if you’re traveling as a couple and want a quiet vacation, you’re probably not going to enjoy it as there are lots of kids even in late September and October, it can be quite loud both by the pool and during meals. For Viva Cala Mesquida Resort : The hotel overlooks the beach, you’ll just have to walk a short distance and climb down a few stairs. While it was always crowded, we enjoyed it very much as the water is warm and crystal clear. The hotel staff is amazing, they’re kind and very helpful. A special thanks to Nadia, at the reception, her French is impeccable, and she was very attentive to our needs and always made us feel at home. Thank you to Dario from Voyamar, for his availability and kindness. The rooms are clean, just like the rest of the facilities. Every morning you’ll see the staff deep cleaning everything. The gym was great and very well maintenant. Regarding the food, the main restaurant Caprice (buffet) offers a grand variety of food, with Vegan, Gluten free and Dairy free products as well. each night there’s a different theme so you don’t always eat the same thing. Thank you to Esteban, Juan and the rest of their staff for always being so welcoming. The three restaurants are also incredibly good, but we truly enjoyed Mirablau (the one on the beach). Thank you to Roman Antonio for his kindness and his contagious smile. If we had to point out some weaknesses, it would be the spa and the jacuzzi that overlooks the sea, the water isn’t warm enough and it isn’t as well maintained as the rest of the resort. Thank you again to all the amazing staff for this very special stay. We will definitely be back soon !

We have been in VIVA Cala Mesquida the last week of June 2023 for eight nights. The service was simply excellent and the animation, especially with kids, is wonderful. I had a couple of problems with the room but they were solved immediately after my communication to the receptionist. It can seem expensive but the value for money is all there; the all-inclusive formula is highly recommended. Another positive mention for the food that was good and with many choices, considering the number of guests to serve. We will be for sure back next year! Thanks to the whole staff :)

Of all the places in the world to visit we have returned once again to this absolutely outstanding hotel and resort. The entire experience once again was absolutely delightful..the quality and attention to detail throughout is second to none and we love the place the food the staff..everything.. The buffet breakfast and restaurant service is so nice with an incredible selection and range of quality food to satisfy all choices..there are various a la carte restaurants serving tremendous foods. The rooms are beautiful and spacious we had a large garden with jacuzzi and sea view.The pool area is lovely with the palmira pool bar so we had cocktails whilst sitting At the pool bar. We would like to thank the wonderful staff and the same staff year in year out who remember us and greet us like family and make us feel special from the restaurant staff Sonso and Miguel the pool bar staff including Franco the friendly bar tender and the cleaning staff including Marcella and Silvia the general manager all made our stay memorable The beach is really nice and we recommend you Join the selection club and enjoy the additional privileges including the beach club bar a self service bar with everything to hand including fresh beach towels and ice creams. Thanks Viva Hotels once again you made our relaxing holiday one to remember and to talk about 🏆❤️
