Overall I would only give 4 star to this hotel. The hotel is old and they definitely should renovate it soon. Even they tried their best to clean the room, But it still old, with some mouldy smell. There's no ac everywhere, only in your room and two of the special restaurant. Be ready to get super sweat when eating. The pool was super dirty, cloudy water and it looks like swimming inside milk. Also have to mention they have party every night till very late, you can hear the base noise I'm the room, family with kid who sleep early should avoid this hotel. Staff in this hotel barely speak English. Lots of language barrier when you try to request something or communicate with them. Last But not least, food are terrible.

Reading these reviews had me extremely worried about coming to this resort. But I can happily say I had an amazing time. The check in was a breeze, room wasn't ready which is fine we went & had some food/drinks. The room was very clean & easy to get to. Does it need some upgrades, yes but the only time we were in the room was to change & sleep ;) the pool were very nice, had three different options to chose from. The food was good, no complaints with the buffet or the food truck on the beach. Every single staff we encountered with was extremely helpful & very nice. I would come back again for suree. The gift shop has everything you need with an ATM which can be convenient. The beach was absolutely beautiful & the beach party at night was a great time. My ONLY complaint is making reservations for dinner can be a hassle. We got to the resort at 3pm and all the a la carte options didn't have any open reservations so we had to go to the buffet. Which is totally fine but if you're looking for something different make sure you books the days in advance.

We loved our stay here. Stayed for 2 weeks and was sad to leave. The grounds are beautiful. There are three pools, lots of restaurants and bars and the food was great. The room was lovely and clean. We loved the peacocks and ducks that wondered round the grounds. Our experience was truly amazing.

We stayed at Vista Sol Punta Cana a few years ago and had an amazing experience — the hotel was full of life, energy, and entertainment. That memory made us excited to return, but unfortunately, our recent stay is a huge disappointment.(We are still in there) Now, the hotel feels lifeless. There is hardly any entertainment or activities to enjoy, and the lively atmosphere we once loved is completely gone. It’s really upsetting, especially when we remember how vibrant and fun the hotel used to be. Another issue we noticed is with the staff. While we always appreciate good service and normally tip generously, during this stay it felt like tips were expected constantly — several times a day, for even the smallest things. It gave us the impression that the staff were more focused on tips than on providing a genuine service experience. Overall, it was very disappointing to see how much Vista Sol Punta Cana has changed. We hope the hotel can bring back the energy and quality that once made it such a special place. Thank you for reading!

We worked with a travel agent who booked us this resort for our honeymoon and it was definitely a let down. We were promised a white sand beach with crystal blue water, but instead were welcomed with mountains of rotting seaweed(pics included), a smell we couldn’t get away from. We were also told there would numerous free water activities offered on the resort such as snorkeling and paddle-boarding, which was also not true. The employees at the reception desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. Our shower head in our room was broken, they “repaired” it only for it to break again the next morning. Guest services then promised us a complimentary gift for our trouble which never came. We ended up booking an earlier flight home. Some of the positives were the wait staff at the restaurants were friendly and the pools were clean. The teppanyaki was actually good but the other food was rather awful. Also, you only are allowed to reserve spots in restaurants 4 times in a week (something they do not tell you). If you do not eat at a restaurant you are stuck with the buffet which was disgusting. Would not recommend.
