This gem of a hotel sits on a very nice property with plenty of outdoor relaxation (pools) and food options. The beach club is conveniently locate and provides a full-service spa, a nice restaurant/bar, and an awesome infinity pool. The service is impeccable -- attentive and always very pleasant. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious; also well equipped with espresso maker and tea kettle. This was my first stay there but I will gladly go back.

I am very happy with this hotel. It has beautiful view and gardens. We stayed 5 days, the rooms were cleaned many times during the day. Spacious bed and bathroom with very comfortable mattresses. Big selection of breakfast food. We really enjoyed our time there. The location of the hotel is just 2 minutes from the beach. I will defenitely come back again.

The hotel is beautiful with many seating areas and lush gardens. Breakfast is so nice with many varieties and a great view of the sea. Staff goes out of their way to make things extra special. Special mentions: Eva Campos, Guest Services, is so helpful and kind. She always tended to me and helped me set up tennis classes. Manuel at check in always checked to see how my day was going. The front desk staff/Alvaro (amazing) and Maria Isabel and Christina were a delight. I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel, they really go out of their way to assist guests.

We stayed here for 8 nights in a family room. It was amazing to be upgraded after one day. (thank you Eva) The rooms are really spacious and clean! However, we want to confirm that this hotel is not at the beach and that for older kids (from 7 years) not the best option. The kids club has mainly only games for very small kids and the beach is too far (on a public road) to send the kids to the beach by themself. The staff was very friendly but the service at pool was definitely not 5 star. We had many smiles but we had to make an effort to get drinks etc. The only waiter which always came and made jokes was Alejandro, who as we heard is now no longer at the hotel, unfortunately. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Another lovely stay at the Estrella del Mar. The hotel is in a peaceful part of Elvira, very close to the beach. All the staff were were very helpful, the hotel is extremely clean throughout. The rooms are large with a good size balcony. Breakfast was good, and we found the food in the bar and restaurants excellent. The menus are not extensive but of very good quality. Pools and garden looked lovely,.
