From the moment we arrived at the this very special luxury hotel we were spoilt every step of the way! With stunning forest valley views, amazing staff and the attention to every little detail, our stay was truly exceptional. We booked through Hilton Honors and our Diamond status was fully recognised - thank you! We were upgraded to a beautiful deluxe terrace pool suite which was spacious, luxurious and had an excellent pool which could be heated on request - although this wasn't needed during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in both restaurants which offer very different dining options. 'Aperitif' provided the best fine dining experience on the island with every dish finely crafted and delicious. 'Cascades' on the other hand was more relaxed with more traditional and beautifully created local food. Both were equally special in their own way and highly recommended!! Cascades also provides the perfect made to order breakfast with amazing daily specials! We enjoyed two social evenings in Pinstripes and Cascades with excellent complementary cocktails and canapes which were delicious, enjoyable and great fun! The location of the hotel is perfect and not too far from the centre of Ubud which although was walkable for us, complementary shuttles are available and we loved chatting to Chess the resort driver - he really has a great sense of humour! The hotel boasts a state of the art gym with a very good selection of equipment and weights, a squash court and even a table tennis table! The amazing spa offered an excellent range of affordable treatments. Special thanks to Lisa our favourite therapist. The peace and tranquility of the hotel was something we appreciated for the five days we were lucky enough to stay here. Special thanks to the GM Patrick for ensuring our stay was so special and the long list of wonderful staff which included Balik, Ngurah, Santi, Hery, Nik, Putu, Sri, Henrda and chef Suandi, along with managers Adhi, Agung, Chef Gerry and of course the great house keeping team. Viceroy Bali ended up being one of the most memorable stays I have ever had. Our villa was stunning, beautifully designed, completely private, and so comfortable that we found ourselves wanting to stay in and simply enjoy the space. The whole place feels luxurious without trying too hard. What really made the experience special was the staff. Every person we met was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing felt scripted, just real hospitality from people who clearly care about making your stay perfect. We left already talking about when we will return.

Checked in during the night so waking up to the breathtaking jungle scenery felt like living inside a postcard!! The villas are pure luxury, with beautiful balinese design and complete privacy, making it the perfect escape. Breakfast was delicious each morning, especially with those incredible views over the valley. The staff are simply wonderful — warm, thoughtful, and always genuine in their care. We also had an airport transfer and a day trip organized by the hotel, and we totally recommend it. Many thanks to Made, our friendly and knowledgeable driver. The free Ubud shuttle is super convenient, and the gym is great and well equipped for a resort. And we really appreciated the excellent Diamond Honors recognition, which made our stay feel even more special. We already miss this place — the views, the calm, the people. Truly one of Ubud’s gems. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

We had an absolutely fantastic 6-night stay at the Viceroy Bali. The property itself is stunning and impeccably clean - our villa was beautiful. The staff are the most helpful and friendly of any hotel we’ve stayed at - it was clear that a lot of care and training had gone into creating the level of service and it didn’t go unnoticed across all aspects, from housekeeping to reception to bar and restaurant staff. The food was delicious (we ate at Cascades restaurant multiple times!) The location is great - while it’s not in central Ubud (we liked this), the hotel offer a free shuttle to and from the centre (and the Monkey forest!) which was easy to arrange. We also took advantage of booking day trips through the hotel - we did two separate trips that we were able to customise to what we wanted to see and on both occasions the drivers were knowledgeable and friendly. We cannot fault it, we were sad to leave and would love to return!

Our stay at Viceroy Bali was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect! From the breathtaking view and beautiful villa to the warm and thoughtful service. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Gung, Puspa, and Margi who made our stay so special. Me and my husband loved every moment here. It’s such a peaceful and luxurious escape, we didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to come back again soon.
