Amazing trip! I have severe allergies to gluten and nuts, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. The service was truly outstanding — absolutely a 5-star experience. The weather in August was amazing, and the resort itself is stunning. Out of all the resorts we’ve visited, this one feels the most tropical and authentically Mexican, surrounded by incredible nature and wildlife (the animals don’t bother you at all). It has so much charm and character compared to the concrete-style resorts you often see. Room service was excellent, and we stayed in a Junior Suite in Building 3, which was perfect. The combination of atmosphere, service, and beauty makes this resort truly special. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate — this place is incredible!

I was there September 15-19 2025. The resort was amazing and the staff was awesome. After our initial contact with Claudia in the reception area. She was unfriendly, not helpful and honesty pretty rude. She told us our room wasn't ready and we understood because it was 1:00 when we arrived. She told me to have a seat and come back to the desk at 3:00. As we sat in the lobby we witnessed her walking other guests out to the patio and giving them directions to the bar that was out there. We decided to walk out to the patio and chat with that couple who told us she told them about the restaurants, bars, pools and all of the amenities the resort offered. They also had a to wait for their room. They were escorted to their room at 2:00 pm. We had to wait until exactly 3:00 and our room was still being worked on when we arrived at the room. Aside from our experience with Claudia the resort and the other staff was amazing! It would have been nice if she would have offered us the same experience she offered the couple we'd spoken with.

The rooms are always well appointed and well kept. You can’t ask for more accommodating accommodations. Your safety is never a concern. It’s easy to forget about the outside world while you’re here. We love the jungle environment. The resort is well manicured and maintained. The flora and fauna is great. Top shelf drinks and great restaurants with high end service leaves nothing lacking. The staff is really what sets this property apart from others. They are so genuine and attentive you feel like a part of their family. Swim up pool bartenders like Diego and Mitchel are amazing. Wait staff like Jocelyn at Don Miguel’s and the plaza area is so warm and caring. Having Felipe wait on you for breakfast and lunch is beyond comparison. And don’t forget what I refer to as the resort “cruise director” Dora. We can even express how amazing and concerned she is for you to have a wonderful time. This resort hits every mark. It’s no wonder that people continue to come back her time and again. We’re already planning our next trip back!

My husband and I stayed for 4 full days and experienced excellent service from beginning until the very end of our trip. I love that this resort has kept the Spanish colonial charm in its decor the grounds are beautifully preserved. The food (especially for resort food) was great. I would say the best we have ever experienced at any resort we have ever visited. We enjoyed the pool and even opted for room service on one of the evenings.The shows were great and entertainment was good. Please be aware that they do have a dress code for their restaurants, men must wear closed toe shoes and pants for their dinner services. We would definitely recommend this resort if you’re looking to stay here. Thank you for an amazing experience we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

I had the most incredible experience at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was truly next level. What stood out the most for me was the breathtaking beauty of the resort — it felt like being in a lush, tropical forest. The grounds are so beautifully maintained, full of greenery, palm trees, and peaceful walkways that make you feel like you’re in your own private jungle paradise. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pools were stunning, and every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet luxurious getaway surrounded by nature, this is the place. I can’t wait to go back — truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!
