Overall experience is good. It is a very calm atmosphere - the people are very friendly.
You can have massages here as well and with a doctor on site, with no extra cost, you can be sure to have the essentials all in one place.
But I would recommend bringing your own medication as the nearest pharmacy is not too near.
Airconditioning is in the rooms with a shower, toilet (and special toilet) and basin together with a cupboard, bar fridge and coffee essentials.
The beach is absolutely beautiful, white sands and clear waters! There is a pathway which leads to a big sandbank that you can easily walk on in low tides.
Would recommend this for a honeymoon or family breakaway or just for a relaxing vacation.

Overall if you don’t spend much time in the room everything else is quite nice. Service is great and the staff is really friendly. The whole resort looks great and you can spend great time there. The rooms are okay if you don’t let any bugs in there but we had a small fight with several bugs. I also got Tanzinite ring from the resort and the quality is great and prices of the jewels are also okay. The experience I had was memorable.

What you see is what you get.
The resort is located on the east side of the island.
It's about an hour by taxi/shuttle from the airport and also about an hour at least to essentially any other destination you may wish to visit. (StoneTown, Kendwa etc)
We Visited during the quiet season and the resort was at minimal capacity, which was ideal and it was relatively quiet.
The hotel can cater for a couple hundred guests and will be rather busy in peak season. Your chance of peace and quiet will be likely limited, if that's what you're after.
There is entertainment every night if that's your thing. You can retreat to your room early, though you may still hear the music, even at a distance.
This is a solid 3 - 3.5 resort. It does enough to provide the basics and doesn't excel in any particular area. If you're a group of mates looking for a relatively comfortable resort with 3 meals a day and all you can drink (all inclusive), with a decent pool and easy beach access, then this may be a budget friendly choice. If you're looking for something a little more special with greater care and attention to detail with a premium feel then perhaps look else where. Also, depending on the time of year, your mileage may vary in terms of weather etc. Summer (December-March) will certainly be sunny and hot (30c +) with high humidity (80-90%). Towards the end of March it can rain a fair amount and have lower temperatures. This is true for the whole Island.

Super !! it is wonderful here and I recommend everyone to come. the food is great, there is also a reptile restaurant with a bar. the employees are friendly, the rooms are clean. this resort is great! there is a safe, guarded place. I even lost my phone and they found it :) funny, it wouldn't happen in my country. I love Africa, I love Uroa Bay Beach Resort.. you can also do trips, various experiences. come here and you won't be disappointed!

Very well organized Resort. Congratulations and thx very much! ❤️ This is very important for the essential welfare in Africa. First: there is 0-24 local Doctor at the resort, he is super thorough and cute. Second: there is a very professional, very strict Chef, the menu was amazing and delicious every day. Third: the Staff is very-very nice.
You can go everywhere around the hotel or the places further away with a nice local driver as well. Zanzibar is wonderful.
