We stayed in one of the suites for a fortnight and it was fantastic. The hotel was brand new, incredibly clean and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that could be improved was storage space, with only one small wardrobe and 3 drawers, but it worked for us. Buses to and from City Walk were quick and easy to use, and the I-Ride trolley was right outside, which was handy to access Icon Park and other places. We had read mixed reviews about the Pier 8 Market, but we enjoyed everything we bought. The Universal shop/Starbucks/bars in the lobby were also very handy. We will definitely be back.

Rooms are spacious, pool is gigantic with plenty of seating and walk up bar. You get lots of sun and lifeguards are very attentive, I saw them jump in and save three kids during our stay. The Lobby gets pretty crowded and its still on Universal so you do still pay Universal prices for most things at the resort. The buses that transport you to the parks are prompt and come continuously. It’s a great resort but does come with a price. I thought the convenience was worth it, but a family on a budget may not.

The rooms are good. Yes the walls don’t offer a ton of privacy but everyone around d us seemed to be respectful of that. The shuttle to the parks was so convenient. The little kitchen was nice i wish the room was bigger but for the price it was good. We did get food in the lobby one time and it was not worth it it was so expensive and not worth the price we paid . The beds were comfy. Shower was to small and stuffy. Otherwise no complaints. Checking in was easy. If you want to know more let me know

The 2 bedroom suite was so nice. I've stayed in the other "budget friendly" park resort hotels, and this is BY FAR the best. The rooms are super clean, pest free, very spacious, and best of all, no carpet, so they smell great! The pools are much larger than they look in the pictures and very clean. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas, and the pool never felt overcrowded. The cafeteria has lots of options to choose from, and the food is good and inexpensive. Tip: if you're getting back to the hotel late, take an Uber, or you will have to park in the parking garage.

Polite and professional staff. The rooms were clean and worth the price. The Christmas tree in the lobby was really nice. The bar had good mixed drinks. Starbucks was a good addition to the lobby. The gym was great also. The two areas that could use improvement: The quality of some of the food at the food establishments in the hotel. I am almost certain the eggs were powdered. Some other items were of questionable quality. While there is nothing wrong with powdered eggs(if these were) one would hope for something just a bit more “upscale” for this type of establishment. The doors to the rooms are not soundproof— at all. If you plan on sleeping, bring earplugs. Not sure why the hotel was designed like this but it a very poor feature of the hotel construction/design. Also, there is an adjoining door between the rooms, further contributing to the excess noise. I think there was a parking fee of about$15/day. The shuttle service to Universal City Walk is convenient to go to the universal restaurants.
