We stayed here for our Universal trip. Very convenient with the shuttles and early entry to the parks. The staff here were very helpful. The grab and go was amazing. The elevators worked most of the time except for our last day when literally everyone in the hotel was trying to use them. Parking is very convenient here as well and not too expensive in my opinion. The gym here had everything you need to get a good workout in. Highly recommend this hotel for the price you pay. The walls are kind of thing though, we could hear the TV from the room next door and practically their entire conversation.

Was super happy with our stay. Exceeded my expectations for a value/budget Universal Resort and will absolutely stay here again on any return trips to the parks. Not once did it feel like we were getting anything less than the best service, all the staff were great, even if we could hear some regular noise in the halls during the day — at night all was quiet and we slept great. Also, loved that we had real, comfortable pillows, not those tiny ones you sometimes are stuck with at hotels. Overall a great stay and glad we picked Surfside over Dockside as it did prove to be smaller and quiet which is what we wanted 🙂

Very nice resort overall. Transportation to and from the Universal parks was easy and convenient to use. Rooms were clean and very simple. Pool was nice, but quite shallow - definitely designed for kids. Cafe is convenient for grabbing a bit before going to the parks or after coming back. Not much around the resort, but there is a Walgreens and a few restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel staff were exceptional! The rooms were above my expectations for a budget stay. The shuttle service to each park was timely and it was a relief to not have to drive during our stay. The food service was quick and convenient. It was also worth the early access to the parks to stay at a Universal Studios property.

This resort is the best bang for your buck when staying near the Universal parks and want the Universal experience. We arrived late around 11pm, and were greeted with great customer service. The shuttle taking us from the airport to this location was on time and convenient. We stayed for 4 nights and had our beds made and new towels prepared every day by the time we got back from the park. The elevators are super quick so I wasn’t stuck waiting forever to get downstairs. We used the laundry service and have available detergent and laundry sheets available for purchase. This came in handy when we ran out of clothes… whoops! The pizza service delivered to our hotel around midnight and the pizza here is well priced and great. The rest of the food served here is over priced in my opinion but is what you expect from hotel / them park pricing. The pool is MASSIVE, sadly when we went it was a little too cold for us (April) but we decided to head to cocoa beach instead which is an hour drive from the resort. Parking is an easy process and uses our key cards to get in. We had a great experience here and would absolutely come again in the future.
