Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites

This resort is the best bang for your buck when staying near the Universal parks and want the Universal experience. We arrived late around 11pm, and were greeted with great customer service. The shuttle taking us from the airport to this location was on time and convenient. We stayed for 4 nights and had our beds made and new towels prepared every day by the time we got back from the park. The elevators are super quick so I wasn’t stuck waiting forever to get downstairs. We used the laundry service and have available detergent and laundry sheets available for purchase. This came in handy when we ran out of clothes… whoops! The pizza service delivered to our hotel around midnight and the pizza here is well priced and great. The rest of the food served here is over priced in my opinion but is what you expect from hotel / them park pricing. The pool is MASSIVE, sadly when we went it was a little too cold for us (April) but we decided to head to cocoa beach instead which is an hour drive from the resort. Parking is an easy process and uses our key cards to get in. We had a great experience here and would absolutely come again in the future.

Great experience overall! The hotel is modern, clean, and has a fun, laid-back vibe. The family suite was spacious and well-designed—perfect for relaxing after long days at the parks. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent with quick shuttle access to Universal Studios and CityWalk, making it easy to get around without a car. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again for another family vacation!

The staff were very kind, clean rooms and felt modern. The buses run every 15 minutes from 7am-12am and if you don’t take the bus, it’s still a very quick 5 minute drive. The buses take you to security so it cuts down time. The food was AMAZING! The gym had a lot of equipment and the arcade was cool! They have a store inside which sells not only universal merchandise but they also have travel amenities such as Tylenol, toothbrushes, etc. The only MINOR drawback I would say is the parking garage depending on where your room is. We were in tower two at the furthest point from the entrance, which is right next to the parking garage. It would be nice if there was an elevator on the opposite end of the parking garage and a door to take you to the end furthest from the lobby of tower 2 to make the walk easier. However, I may have just missed a door somewhere but I didn’t see an elevator on the far side of the parking garage, OTHER THAN, the one closest to the lobby side of the garage. However, that is a MINOR drawback and doesn’t affect the experience much at all. Overall! Very nice and WAY quieter and less busy than dockside inn.

Excellent Hotel. Fair pricing, super clean, friendly staff, excellent food options (open late and early). Food was tasty and fair pricing (for a theme park type environment). Busing to Parks and Back was excellent. Never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Rooms clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool is LARGE and excellent (it is only 3 1/2 feet deep at max). Nice bar next to pool. Location was great. Usually a 10 minute bus ride. Small arcade was simple but a nice diversion. Starbucks on site and very efficient.

I landed in Orlando April 1st at around 11 am. Long story short, I thought my reservation was at Surfside, but turns out I had my reservation at Dockside…. ANYWAYS, I go to Surfside and went to the front desk and asked if I could just chill and relax at the resort while I wait for my sister in law to check us in (it was booked under her name and this was before I knew I was at the wrong resort 😂). Front desk was super cool about it!! They said we could leave our bags at luggage check, and they even offered us a temporary key card if we wanted to use the gym to freshen up or to change into our bathing suits in case we wanted to use the pool!!!! We walked around, checked out the pool, went to the pool bar and had a couple drinks. Our bartender, Garrett (I really hope I’m spelling it right) was AMAZING!!! He has such a wonderful personality and is very welcoming! We spent a good amount of time getting to know each other and sharing stories about almost everything! He really was such a sweet guy! After about an hour or so, we decided to go grab a bite at the food court. We ordered a pizza and some chicken tenders. Once we got our grub on, my sister in law calls us and asks where we are. We said “we’re at the resort in the food court!” She goes “….where? I’m right here…” and that’s when we found out we were hanging out at the wrong resort 🤦‍♀️😂 but I do want to thank the entire staff for being so awesome and welcoming!!! We had the complete opposite experience at Dockside, so I’m hoping to stay at Surfside for our next stay in Orlando!!! ☺️
