I stayed here for 4 days with my fiancé. The grounds are meticulously maintained, pools are nice, and also thought the room was nice and large, except for some minor maintenance issues. The service was generally good, though I got very annoyed by a pushy staff member at check in trying to get us to attend a session where we would surely be sold things. I politely declined but she still pressed for us to attend. We loved laying by the pool, the pool service was good, and were very satisfied with the pool food. As typical, the pool drinks are very light on liquor. You have to know what to order. The biggest disappointment was the restaurants for dinner. We thought all the ones we tried were poor: Italian, Mexican, Japanese. I would have said the Japanese was OK, but we got food poisoning from there. The Italian pasta dish "carbonara" was pitiful and tasted like butter noodles. It was also too hard to get a reasonable reservation time for dinner. Also, when we had a reservation time, we still twice waited 15-30 minutes to be seated. We did like the concierge service via WhatsApp and Luis was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but we won't be returning because of the dinner dining experience. I'm sure there are better options out there in the Caribbean at similar price point.

This is a nice all inclusive adult resort with good food choices. Overall, the service was great. Abraham in the restaurant 2087 gave great customer service. The rooms were nice. We had an issue with our room that was resolved once the local host stepped in. Had she not stepped in I feel nothing would have been done. I would recommend this location to any couple looking to relax, eat well, and have fun. The only disappointment is the local area before getting to the resorts. The street aren’t the best and there is trash everywhere. I wish someone valued the surrounding land and keep the local land looking just as nice without having trash everywhere.

Unico 2087 is the best all-inclusive resort! From the great location, beautiful facilities, to the amazing food, this place is awesome. But what makes it amazing are the staff that make you feel like you are the only ones there. The staff are the reasons we keep coming back and the reason why we will continue to go back. An awesome vacation is one where you don’t have to worry and the staff make sure they are there to help. From the people who we have seen many times on our visit to the new team members we met, the theme is the same - great customer service and treating you like family. A special thanks to our awesome butlers - Eduardo and Carlos to Susie in 2087, to Ximena in Avec, Dianna in Mira House, and Valeria and the entire morning team in Mi Casa they all added such special touches to our vacation and we can’t wait to see them again! With so many choices to pick from in Rivera Maya/Cancun region, the obvious pick is Unico 2087. Go and have fun…and leave as family. Thank you to all and again we can’t wait to come back.

Was here for a 5 night stay. Rooms and grounds were beautiful and clean. Service was great and very attentive however, upon arrival to the hotel a member from the vacation department named Legendary checked us in instead of an employee at the hotel in which we didn’t find out until later on during the stay. When we were checking in she offered to have our excursion compensated and said it was because of our honeymoon and made it like they were trying to do something nice for us. We then decided to cancel the excursion and said she would handle it for us but instead got charged a no show fee because she never canceled it. This is beyond her help because she is infect not an employee at the hotel and lied to us and actually works for Legendary Vacation Membership. She roped us in to be a part of their membership and made my husband I sit through a presentation that lasted over 4 hours but said would be an hour at most an hour and a half. We spent our entire day stuck in the salesroom at the headquarters of the vacation club which is on the second floor of our hotel. We were unable to leave and the Legendary vacation club sales team were extremely pushy and pressuring to recruit us to the membership that they needed 5 different sales associates including supervisors, managers and people from higher up to force us/pressure us to sign a deal. At this time they were also feeding my husband alcoholic beverages causing him to be intoxicated. They also wouldn’t let us speak amongst each other or decide at a later time during the trip whether we would be interested and was a now or never offer. This is not how I envisioned my stay to be and is extremely unfortunate that the hotel is affiliated with this horrible Vacation group because the hotel itself is actually amazing. Beware of the Legendary Vacation Club scams!

Our stay at UNICO 20°87° was nothing short of spectacular, but what truly elevated the experience were the incredible bartenders at the pool bar. Dorlin, Antonio, Alex, and Eligio are absolute stars, and their service embodies what a 5-diamond resort is all about. From the moment we arrived at the pool, they made us feel like VIPs. Their energy, professionalism, and warm personalities brought the perfect balance of relaxation and fun to every day. No matter how busy it got, they always greeted us with genuine smiles and remembered our drink preferences. Often surprising us with creative new cocktails that quickly became favorites. They created an unforgettable experience that made the pool bar the heart of our vacation. UNICO is lucky to have such a dedicated, talented team, because of them, we can’t wait to return.
