Obsessed with this place is an understatement! Food and restaurant options were amazing, even my gluten-free boyfriend had a lot to choose from. The staff is friendly and kind, and the cleanliness is perfect. I love the turn down service every evening. We had a personal concierge upon arrival who helped with dinner reservations (although I’d recommend making those before you arrive if possible). The pools were stunning and separated into “party pool” and “quiet pool” for different vibes. Really nice landscape ☺️ but note! Adults only.

This place is like home away from home and a beautiful paradise wrapped in one I’ve been i’ve been two years in a row and have no complaints. Laura our host was fantastic and make sure everything went smoothly. Can’t say enough about the staff in the hospitality. What a treat everything was perfect the food the atmosphere the beautiful beach can’t wait till I go back next year and make this a regular thing. The transportation to and from was very comfortable and quick! I’ve been going the last two years with a group of people and we all can’t say enough about this place. It is the best I give it five stars a real good deal for your money. All the liquor is top shelf. All the food is fresh and delicious.

What an amazing destination to get away to! Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya was beautiful in every way. I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and how clean everything was. This is a perfect place to be if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with not too much chaos. The food was delightful along with the service. This is definitely a great spot for a romantic getaway with a loved one. Special shoutout to our host, Laura Flores, who made sure we had dinner reservations squared away, that we enjoyed our time, and offered constant help/assistance to us whenever we had questions. She is such a friendly woman and i recommend her to anyone!

My wife and I along with 3 family members went to Unico 20 87 in mid-February. While we have been there many times over the years, our family had never been there and were TOTALLY impressed with everything! Our butlers (Roger and Berenice) handled all of our daily needs from insuring we had our pool/beach chairs reserved to dinner and spa reservations and everything in-between. We cannot say enough about them and their dedication to serving our needs and those of our guests. Also want to give a shout out to Antuan Rojas in members services for 2 small issues we had while there but were corrected in a VERY timely manner. Monique and Herman are 2 employees that we met years ago, and it is always fun to meet up with them to see how life has been. The resort is beautiful as were our rooms (2 swim up and an ocean front). The pools have something for everyone. The waitstaff is very accommodating with drinks and food, although I would like the resort to change up the menu as I believe that it is the same as when they opened. The vibe here is chill and that's a plus. The Italian restaurant, Mi Carissa, has long been our favorite, but the new French restaurant, Avec, is going to be great, too. Not saying the others are bad...they should all be tried as they are all very, VERY good!

This was our second stay at UNICO 20°87°, and it reminded us exactly why we plan to return at least once a year. The resort is truly breathtaking—every space feels intentional, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The colors, textures, and overall atmosphere create a sense of tranquility that stays with you throughout your entire stay. We stayed in a swim‑up room again, and having a private pool right off our patio was incredible. It adds a level of comfort and luxury that’s hard to find anywhere else. Our personal concierge, Laura, was exceptional from the moment we arrived. She made everything feel personal and special, and even decorated our bed for my birthday—such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to me. She was always just a text away, incredibly helpful, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed. The dining experiences at UNICO are outstanding. Breakfast at the 20°87° Restaurant deserves its own praise—the kitchen staff works so hard to prepare anything you could possibly want. The omelette and taco stations were especially amazing; the chefs there deserve a chef’s kiss for their skill and kindness. For dinner, Mura House and Mi Carisa were unforgettable. The staff at both restaurants were warm, attentive, and made our meals feel special. The team at Mura House even surprised me with a birthday dessert, which was such a sweet and memorable gesture. The poolside bartenders also deserve recognition. The drinks were delicious, full‑flavored, and definitely not watered down—something people often worry about with all‑inclusive resorts, but absolutely not the case here. If you have the time, the spa is a must. It’s one of those experiences you’ll think about long after your trip ends. The daily arts and crafts activities were also surprisingly fun and unique—one of the coolest touches the resort offers. The views of the ocean, the wildlife around the property, and the beautifully maintained grounds make every walk feel like a moment worth savoring. The housekeeping staff was incredibly kind and attentive, keeping everything spotless and welcoming. Overall, our experience at UNICO was one in a million. The resort is stunning, but it’s the staff who truly elevate the stay. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care make this place unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend it more.
