We had an outstanding experience with our butlers, Eddie (Eduardo) and Roger at Unico Riviera Maya. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive. Every request we had—whether it was dinner reservations, golf bookings, excursions, seats by the pool or massages—was handled quickly and effortlessly. They consistently checked in to make sure our family had everything we needed and responded immediately to any issues. When our cabana was without power, Eddie personally came by to expedite the fix and made sure the problem was resolved without delay. Their professionalism and genuine care truly elevated our stay. We were extremely satisfied with the way they took care of our entire family, and we’re grateful for the exceptional service they provided. Highly recommend!

This is a nice all inclusive adult resort with good food choices. Overall, the service was great. Abraham in the restaurant 2087 gave great customer service. The rooms were nice. We had an issue with our room that was resolved once the local host stepped in. Had she not stepped in I feel nothing would have been done. I would recommend this location to any couple looking to relax, eat well, and have fun. The only disappointment is the local area before getting to the resorts. The street aren’t the best and there is trash everywhere. I wish someone valued the surrounding land and keep the local land looking just as nice without having trash everywhere.

We travel to many all inclusive's and Unico 2087 in Riviera Maya is by far one of my favorites. The resort is perfect if you want a quiet and tranquil experience with good food, drinks and excellent service. It's not a party scene but can enjoy a good time in the 3 pools, beach is swimmable, and good entertainment for an enjoyable stay. The Food and beverage manager Carlos went over and above to ensure we had a great culunary experience every night and took a mixology class which was fun. The resort works hard to keep the beach clean, and there is a location with minimal rocks so you can enjoy going into the water. The service was exceptional, everyone is happy you are there and makes you feel welcome, especially the Butlers, Eduardo and Carlos were amazing!!! The only downside was the spa / hydrotherapy was a little under whelming. For a new resort was expecting a larger and better experience.

I stayed here for 4 days with my fiancé. The grounds are meticulously maintained, pools are nice, and also thought the room was nice and large, except for some minor maintenance issues. The service was generally good, though I got very annoyed by a pushy staff member at check in trying to get us to attend a session where we would surely be sold things. I politely declined but she still pressed for us to attend. We loved laying by the pool, the pool service was good, and were very satisfied with the pool food. As typical, the pool drinks are very light on liquor. You have to know what to order. The biggest disappointment was the restaurants for dinner. We thought all the ones we tried were poor: Italian, Mexican, Japanese. I would have said the Japanese was OK, but we got food poisoning from there. The Italian pasta dish "carbonara" was pitiful and tasted like butter noodles. It was also too hard to get a reasonable reservation time for dinner. Also, when we had a reservation time, we still twice waited 15-30 minutes to be seated. We did like the concierge service via WhatsApp and Luis was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but we won't be returning because of the dinner dining experience. I'm sure there are better options out there in the Caribbean at similar price point.

Long-time Legendary member here (22 years). I was supposed to stay at the new Unico Nayarit, but my confirmed reservation was cancelled only a month before arrival because the entire resort was bought out. That created a lot of stress — but Unico Riviera Maya still delivered a fantastic stay thanks to the amazing people who work here. My butlers Israel and Roger were outstanding and absolutely saved this trip. Spa was wonderful (thank you Liliana, Victor and Yolanda). Dining remains incredible — Mura House is a must, and Angel makes the experience next-level. Avec also deserves recognition — perfect chilled red wine service and excellent food. Areas to improve: lunch options are limited without a buffet, and pool/beach staffing felt stretched — slower than previous years in HOF sections. This is not the fault of the workers — they are doing their best — it’s a management staffing issue. Still — the staff here is exceptional, the resort is beautiful, and I will return. I just hope management invests in staffing and guest trust going forward.
