The entire hotel staff are absolutely wonderful - they are always friendly and welcoming. They are really what makes this place great. The buffet food was great and our room was wonderful. The room and hotel in general were immaculately clean. Even the beach along the nearby coast is crystal clear and clean. I would say the water for showering isn't great but I'm not sure there's a whole lot that can be done about that. The hotel is also quite far from Stone Town/the airport, so be prepared to book a lot of taxis if you have things to do on the west side of the island.

Our stay at TUI Blue Bahari Zanzibar was absolutely beautiful! The resort is breathtaking, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Hakuna Matata means “no worries,” and this place really lives by that. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel relaxed and completely at home. A big Asante Sana (thank you) to every single member of staff—starting from reception all the way to the amazing gardeners who keep the grounds looking absolutely stunning. Just walking through and taking in all the beautiful plants and greenery was a treat in itself. The cleaning team deserve a special mention too—working so hard behind the scenes, making sure all the washrooms were spotless all day long. The bar staff kept us going with drinks, always cheerful and attentive, and the beach servers were fantastic, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. The restaurant staff were brilliant—nothing was ever too much trouble. They always made sure we were happy with the food and looked after us like family. But what really stood out was how friendly everyone was. Always smiling, always asking how we were and if we needed anything—it made such a difference. Even the security team deserve a shoutout—they kept things peaceful on the beach while still letting us enjoy some friendly chats with the beach sellers. And housekeeping? Incredible. Every day, our room felt fresh and perfect, like it was day one all over again. The management were always visible too, making sure everything ran smoothly. All these little things added up and made this holiday one of the most memorable we’ve ever had. Thank you, TUI Blue Bahari.

This is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been. The stuff is flexible, polite rooms are clean. They look for every request we had and they were fulfilling it. The food is the most excellent I’ve ever had in my life is a mixture of Arabic, Indian and African Swahili. The chefs are incredible. The taste are incredible. I only can say about the food over here on the top shelf. We surely will come back to this hotel!

Their professionalism and genuine kindness made a real difference. I would also like to thank Horace and Jovin for their exceptional service and warm hospitality — they were always ready with a smile and willing to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers everything you could ask for in a relaxing getaway, but it’s the amazing staff that made this stay truly unforgettable.
