Our stay at Hotel Bahari by TUI was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is beautifully located, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied, and every detail contributed to a truly perfect holiday experience. We would especially like to highlight Brian, our waiter, who made our stay even more memorable. He is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, always serving us with a warm smile. Brian’s efficiency and genuine care for the guests truly stand out — he is an outstanding member of the team and a real asset to the hotel. Thanks to him, every meal was a pleasure. The resort is beautifully set along a soft white sand beach, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and crystal-blue pools that make every morning feel like paradise.  🏖️ Location & Ambience Nestled right on Kiwengwa’s stunning beach, the resort feels like its own little village with quiet pathways, plenty of space to explore, and breathtaking sunrise views that are hard to put into words.  🍽️ Food & Dining With multiple restaurants and dining options, the food was varied, fresh, and consistently enjoyable. From international buffets to delightful themed nights and beachside grills, there was something for every palate.  🛏️ Rooms & Comfort Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with lovely garden or pool views. The resort is exceptionally well-maintained — you truly feel cared for from check-in to check-out.  👩‍💼 Staff & Service The team at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar truly stands out — warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, the hotel is excellent: modern, clean, with very friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the quality of the services and facilities is high. It is a perfect place to rest and unwind. It is important to note that there is a significant tide phenomenon on the beach. During low tide, the water retreats quite far, making swimming directly from the beach less suitable at those times. At high tide, however, the beach is beautiful and swimming is enjoyable. Apart from this natural condition, the place is almost perfect, especially for guests who appreciate quality, tranquility, and are aware of the local tidal changes.

Not a True 5-Star – Manage Your Expectations We stayed at TUI Blue Bahari Zanzibar for 5 days expecting 5-star quality. It doesn’t deliver. The beach is the biggest issue — heavy seaweed and almost no water at low tide. You can only swim at high tide, which defeats the purpose of a beach resort. Service is inconsistent. A few staff are excellent (the Food & Beverage Manager was outstanding), but most were unhelpful. Hygiene was concerning — flies on food in the restaurants. Not 5-star. All-inclusive wasn’t fully available either — drinks we paid for were repeatedly “not available.” Kid’s food options were limited for a family resort. It looks good, but it’s not luxury. If you’re particular and expect real 5-star standards, this isn’t it.

We spent our honeymoon at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar for 14 days. It is a beautiful and very well-maintained resort. The location right on the beach is uniquely beautiful. The service is really great and the staff are always helpful, friendly, and extremely attentive. Guests are offered a lot, from evening shows and open-air cinema to a full dinner for all guests on the beach or by the pool. What a wonderful idea and remarkable achievement for all the staff every week! Thank you again for that! We would also like to say a special thank you to our lovely waitress Courage, who fulfilled every wish during our private honeymoon beach dinner and did a great job! During the cocktail course, Mr. Ramia taught us a lot and conjured up a great cocktail. And at the bar, Jovin always served us superbly and provided us with great drinks. We had a wonderful time!
