The Tropical Attitude all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast at the main restaurant
  • Lunch at the main restaurant or Taba-j
  • Dinner at the main restaurant and Kot Nou (reservation required)
  • Tea, coffee and sweet local goodies at Taba-J from 4pm to 6pm
  • A selection of local beverages, water, beer, tea, coffee, soft drinks, table wine, locally manufactured alcohols and spirits
  • A selection of drinks from the mini bar
  • Local snacks served with evening drinks
  • Picnic baskets for day excursions
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner in one of the other Attitude hotels (offer applicable to a selection of restaurants upon availability, 24 hour prior booking required, transfer not included)

Last week I spent 4nights in tropical attitude and my experience with them is awesome. From reception to housekeeping everything was great. All People are very helpful, and courteous. Location , view , rooms , cleanliness are topnotch. Food is continental and Mauritian. Food is very good , well cooked and served. Special thanks to Mr. Tattooed chef (i forget to ask his name) for awesome fish and chicken and calamari. 🙏❤️ i am still missing in India. Overall experience-10 on 10.

Good part - It has 2 complimentary ile aux cerfs trips per day so book the hotel if you want to do that. The room is well maintained and the view from the room is beautiful. Bad part - The boat services are limited and it's first come-first serve basis which we did not know and hence missed out on it. So book it as soon as you check in. Being vegetarians, we did not find many veg options. Even the staff was not courteous enough to prepare veg options separately for their guests. The property does not have a beach of its own for swimming. The property is also very small and you can find better options elsewhere. I also did not find the staff friendly enough.

Warm welcoming, kind staff. Water and coffee supplies - They are engaged in using 0% plastic but how not providing coffee and sugar in room is related to that. Dinner - Very very very basic, can do much better. However breakfast was good. Excellent cappuccino. Room - very cute and spacious room with ocean view. Worst thing was hard pillow, my wife actually woke up with a severe neck pain and had to go to clinic the next day. Shower towel could be larger and only one face towel provided. No duvet cover, had only a thin duvet. These comments aim to help do much better because it’s a cute hotel with very nice staff. Special thanks to Kamlesh whom we met during breakfast.

We spent 2 nights and there were both positive and negative reviews. Positive: Warm welcome on arrival. The team at the reception is very professional and nice. Boat house and boat trips were fantastic which I highly recommend. The view and location are outstanding. Food choice variety was quite fine. Evening entertainment was great! Negative: Comparing price vs quality, the hotel has much to improve. Not all waiters were professional and it depends if you are lucky to have the good waiter to serve your table. I mentioned an allergy on my arrival and got it in my salad for lunch which was a la carte. Luckily I ended up ruining half day sick but next time someone could end up bad. One of the guy behind the oven coughed in his hands which he cleaned on his shirt and used the same hand to cook... all this in front of everyone! I had several electricity cut in my room and had to use my phone torch waiting the maintenance guy on the next day at 7 a.m who by the way does not speak a word of english. At breakfast I had my table cleared when I was still choosing food at the buffet leading to someone else taking our place. We are on holiday and thought we could take our time eating! I recommend the hotel adding a general behaviour rules on top of the hotel eco-sustainable concept. I had room neighbours screaming and partying the whole night until 3 a.m in their rooms. Maybe asking people to be quiet after 22h or go continue have fun in the common area. People also come to relax in a hotel. If the hotel asks for €150 per night then people expect a good service. In this particular experience the quality did not match the price.

Lovely views,staff are friendly and welcoming. However we encountered a few problems whilst staying here. Rooms were not clean and all bedding and towels smelt bad. Ants coming out of the sink and got into my things. Power cuts in the rooms Had to change rooms and cleaning lady just walked into our room one of the mornings,clearly management didn't inform Cleaning staff of the room change. Also cleaning staff bang on your door every morning to do a quick wipe around the room,no bed sheets changing and always forgot to give us towels. Food is honestly bad, partner had stomach issues the entire time. Hotel could do much better if they put more effort in cleanliness and better food.
