Absolutely loved the off the beaten path hotel. It was so relaxing and the service was good and everyone was friendly. The fact that you were able to snorkel right in front of the hotel was a bonus. They also have glass bottom boats, transfers to ile le cerf plus a free snorkeling platform. We cannot find anything to complain about, the food was also very nice. They went out of their way to make my husband's 60th Birthday special. LOVED IT 😍

Fantastic stay at the tropical attitude. Very friendly staff throughout and the food was fantastic, always some Mauritian dishes on offer which we really enjoyed. Room was great and had a lovely sea view. Daily shuttles available to ile aux cerf which was great too. The whole place has a really relaxed atmosphere which was the perfect way to start our holiday, thank you!

The staff is great, they look after you and are very friendly. I want to give a special thanks to Dmitri, Sylvain and Deepa for their amazing work. The view from the resort is beautiful, overlooking the sea, Trou d'Eau Douce bay and the mountains. The evening entertainment was good at times, depending on the musicians, who change every night (no entertainment on Sundays). The buffet was good and fresh, whereas the traditional Mauritian restaurant at the resort was great, however they should change the menu more often or at least offer more options. The room and bathroom were spacious enough and clean, but a bit spartan. The accommodations need some renovation/repairs, as some furniture are old and old walls need fresh paint. There isn't a real beach at the resort. It's an elevated area with grass and sand. While it's very nice, with coconut trees overlooking the bay and Ilot Mangenie, don't expect the dreamy white sand beach that you see on social media. However, there's a nice white sand beach just around the corner (5-10 mins away) and you can get to Pointe Quatre Cocos and Palmar beach or even Belle Mare beach from that. The spa area is small but beautiful, surrounded by a tropical garden and they offer a good variety of massages for a very cheap price compared to Western standards. The staff was excellent and they make sure you feel comfortable. They'll offer you a drink before and after the massage session. I would suggest the hotel to add a sauna and a couple of jacuzzis there to further improve the spa into a 5-star service. There is an outdoor gym, but it only has 3-5 machines with no weights. I'd suggest replacing them with more professional machines and add at least 1 barbell and a few dumbbells. The best service is the free daily boat to Ile Aux Cerfs departing at 9 and 10 am every morning and returning at 2 and 3 pm. Please note, you have to book this at least 24h in advance at the reception! There's also a free 3-hour snorkeling activity at 11 am every day (weather permitting) from the resort to a houseboat in the bay. The resort and the area is very quiet with mostly elderly people. There's nothing around the resort, so I suggest moving with the taxi provided by the resort at a good price (e.g. a 2-way transfer to/from Blue Bay or Trou aux Biches beach costs 3500 MUR - 70 euros. Try to negotiate the price. ) While it doesn't feel like you're in a luxurious resort, we loved the peaceful and cozy atmosphere, especially because it's the cheapest all-inclusive resort we could find with all of the above mentioned services. It's hard to find such a deal, hence overall it was a very good value for money.

If you looking for peace, quiet, relaxation & tranquility, this is the ideal place for that. Service is amazing, location is perfect. To top it all off the food is to die for, especially the special lobster dinner prepared by Chef Vikash, an amazing experience!!. The decorative features made with the guest towels in my room was a really nice touch by Deepa, a really helpful person with a very pleasant disposition. I will definitely be returning for my next relaxation & rejuvenation holiday to this lovely boutique hotel. 👍🏽👍🏽

My wife and I spent 10 nights here for our honeymoon and loved every minute of it! It was our first time to Mauritius and we felt welcomed and at home straight away. The hotel staff looked after us very well and also treated us to a candlelight dinner and couples massage. My wife also celebrated her birthday while we were away and the staff in the restaurant made a point of celebrating this as well. Yuvan and Adesh were our favourite bar staff, very generous measures with the drinks! They also recommended drinks that we hadn't tried before as well. The hotel offers a boat service twice a day to Île aux Cerfs and I'd highly recommend this! It's key to book asap though as it's very popular. Île aux Cerfs has amazing views and beaches as well as a roped off area that is safe to swim in. There's no risk of sea urchins or anything. The outdoor restaurant that serves Mauritian food is popular as well so definitely worth booking upon arrival. Although the hotel has no beach there is one a very short walk and it's worth taking the 5 minutes to walk along the coast for the beach! If you're going off site then definitely use the hotels cab service! We went to nearby Flacq, around 20mins away, to visit the huge market and a cab there and back was 1,000 rupees! (Around £18) The driver even waited 2hrs for us. Very reasonable prices and should be promoted more.
