We stayed for our honeymoon in June 2022
It's the best resort
We enjoyed the stay
The water villa are luxurious and beach stay is also very nice.
We booked 2 types of room i.e. beach villa and water villa to experience both.
It was great
They have water activities their
Food is served in buffet many options available
But difficult for vegetarian
But have main options in breads, spreads, juices, soups and fruits to try it

Best part is the location. It is just 20 minutes away from the airport, so not much time wasted in transit. There are reefs very close by that anyone can snorkel to and get a good view of marine life. Food is mostly continental with a bit of Indian mixed in. Staff are courteous and helpful. Would recommend to anyone, especially considering it's price relative to other resorts.

In my opinion it is Not worth the money. We compared other islands wich had the same price. Food is not as good. Other 4 star resorts were way better for the price. Waterbungalow is beautiful, but broken window in the bathroom (cant be opened or entirely closed), broken wood laces outside on the balcony which is dangerous... seems like they didnt check the rooms for absolute high standards and safety???? 400 dollar a night, broken sink in the bathroom? paying for halfboard and you dont get free water while eating breakfast or dinner.. have to pay 4.5 dollar for a bottle of water.. am i supposed to drink 50 dollars water a day? It is a tropical hot place and you dont get free water.. think about it..i am so lucky to have my filter bottle to drink the water from the sink..
The reef is pretty dead, but you can see stingrays, turtles etc, sharks so marine life is there. If you booked all inclusive you get instant coffee from nestle instead of the "normal" coffee from the coffee maker.
Pro: you can see turtles, island looks nice, friendly receptionists, early check in was possible

We had a great week on this beautiful island. Watervilla was so big and clean! The snorkeling in the rif was great, lots of sharks, fishes and turtles.

Beautifull place but that is something that can be said about all of the Maledives. They keep it all clean and tidy and have for that an army of personel on the grounds.
The older water bungalows need to be worked over by a handyman. Paint is coming heavily of the structure and basic maintenance in and around the bungalow has been slacking (lose cabinets/dispensers, wall socket etc etc). This should not be all to difficult yet they fail to do so.
Three out of three planned excursions were cancelled due to bad weather they claimed. They have be truthfull about the real reasons or motivations behind these decissions cause regarding the last excursion (dolphin tour) the sea was as flat as a soccer field and the sky as blue as can be for the entire day and evening. Bad weather it was certainly not!
Everyone gets one waiter for the entire stay but ours was suddenly gone. On the first day of his disappearence no substitute reported himself so we had to get our own drinks at breakfast and lunch. Communication on that part would be nice, especially cause we tipped every day.
But overall we had a awesome time. Many of the staff were nice (tipping opens up certain doors), the island is beautiful, the sea life abundant (encountered rays, turtles, sharks). Cocktails are good and the food quality is excellent. Beach is beyond beautifull and a place of tranquility. Warmed inifinity pool is a plus. The short transfer time to the airport is a big plus.
I would recommend this place to others currently at a 7.5/10. If they would fix the basic backlog on maintenance and improve the communication on simple things I rate Thulhagiri on a whopping 9/10. I know you can guys!
