Dear The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa Team, As I prepare to check out today, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care and outstanding hospitality I received throughout my stay. The past two days have truly been among the most beautiful and memorable experiences of my life. The serene atmosphere of the resort, combined with the harmony of nature and wildlife within the property, created an experience that exceeded all expectations. Observing the friendly monkeys and elegant lizards in their natural surroundings, especially during the evenings, was both fascinating and heartwarming. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, I would like to especially recognize and thank the wonderful team members who made my stay truly remarkable: • Sai / Ays – Manager • Gift – FOM • Zaina – GSA • Mida A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Zaina, whose exceptional dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured that every aspect of my stay was handled flawlessly. Her professionalism and kindness truly made a lasting impression and elevated my entire experience. Your team perfectly embodies the Westin spirit of well-being, excellence, and personalized service. I will certainly be returning in the future and very much look forward to visiting again with my family. I will also be delighted to share my outstanding experience through positive reviews on Google Maps, TripAdvisor, and Marriott Bonvoy. Thank you once again for an unforgettable stay. Warm regards, Anas Marriott Bonvoy **Titanium Elite

The hotel itself is really nice. It is a nice property with a A+ location. However, the hotel need some renovations and maintenance. Our room was spacious and attractive with a beautiful view but felt outdated. Furniture looked worned and shower floor needed some thoroughly cleaning. We also experienced a clogged shower drain. Overall, the hotel could benefit from fresh paint some general maintenance. Beaides that, the hotel staff was very kind and attentive.

Pros: The view and location. The area where the Hotel is right on the ocean and gives amazing views including sunset (sunrise will be behind you in most rooms). The buggy service is convenient and quick. Cons: The room quality does not feel 5 star status. The bathroom orientation with the toilet out with no privacy is weird, tile is cracked and the lighting was terrible. When we arrived the minibar was completely empty and it took 2 phone calls and a few hours to even get it restocked. Bed also did not feel 5 star and the sheets were hard and scratchy. Service overall felt lazy and forced when needed. Middle ground: Pools were ok, not the highest of quality feeling but had a great view, just dated. Restaurants are pretty good (Prego had the best service. Overall: This hotel is meant for the views and it has them by a landslide (its on a cliff near the gulf so that could be a possible view). However, it doesnt give the 5 star quality feel.

We’ve stayed at Western Sarai Bay two or three times, but unfortunately the property has clearly gone downhill. The management, reception staff, infrastructure, and overall service have all worsened since our earlier visits. Yesterday we reported that the bathtub in our bathroom was leaking, but no action was taken. By morning, the entire bathroom was flooded again. When the technician finally came, he confirmed the bathtub itself is faulty and will continue to leak even with normal use. I spoke to the property manager hoping for a solution, but was simply told that nothing could be done and that we should avoid using the bathtub. That’s not a reasonable response when guests are paying for a fully functional room. Expecting guests to work around a known fault instead of fixing it shows a serious lack of accountability and customer care. Sadly, what used to be a pleasant place to stay is no longer worth it. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that others reconsider booking this property until management improves both maintenance and service standards. The hotel staffing appears to be structured for no more than a 40% occupancy rate. Over the past four days, occupancy has clearly been above 80%, and the strain is visible across every service touchpoint — buggy requests, room service, restaurant operations, and overall responsiveness. This morning I waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs. Yesterday, it took 40 minutes for a single dish to arrive. These are not peak-hour anomalies; they reflect a systemic capacity problem. If you are planning to book this resort, I strongly recommend checking their occupancy levels first. If the property is running anywhere near full capacity, be prepared for significant service delays. What’s disappointing is that this wasn’t the case three years ago when we first visited. The decline since then has been quite noticeable, and unfortunately, it has turned what should have been a relaxing stay into a frustrating experience.

This stay was absolutely amazing and the room was one of the best upgrades I ever got with Marriott. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our check in experience with Komgkwan was phenomenal. We tried the afternoon floating tea set and it was a great experience. The only downside was the hot water that came in a pot also used for coffee so the water didn’t taste so good. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious and plentiful. The beach is really nice and feels very private. We couldn’t do the romantic beach dinner as it was already booked for both nights we were staying, but we saw the set up and it seemed to be a wonderful experience.
