  • Buffet breakfast with live cooking at Island Kitchen, including fresh juices (watermelon, apple and orange), tea, coffee and house water (still and sparkling)
  • 2 course lunch at Island Kitchen or Hawker, with a choice of one soup, starter or dessert and one main course. Includes house water (still and sparkling)

Amenities and landscape are excellent! What a horrible customer service experience! There was a warm welcome but staff in every department were begging for tips anywhere. F&B staff became rude once they identified tips were insufficient. Bell service staff would stare at you once your baggage arrived in the room. They took the tips for granted. The hotel outsourced a bunch of shops. Bear in mind, they would charge you substantially on purpose if you do not pay attention to the billing. We rented a kayak for 2 hours from the water sports store . They claimed we passed kayaking activities in restricted areas. In fact, we did not. The water sports store owner drove a Jet ski to come by and warned us. Once we finished our kayaking activities and returned the kayak, they intended to charge us 45 USD for a rescue fee. What a scam business!! Don't go snorkeling and fishing with them. They will charge you 500-1000 per person. We ended up enjoying similar activities for 50 USD per person on an island where local residents resided.

Easily one of the best resorts the Westin has, and a very high end staff. Fekrii and Hersham did such a great job taking care of us, as well as the rest of the team. The gym, including the steam room and sauna, were amazing. The views from the entire property were unmatched and the main pool is amazing as well. Best of all, you’ll love the large and very expansive rooms. The pictures online don’t do it any justice. I’d definitely book here again and I’d tell anyone to book here too. One of the best Maldives properties.

The staff, true custodians of hospitality, redefine 'impeccable service'. Their dedication to ensuring that every aspect of my stay was top-notch was truly commendable. The attention to detail, the warmth, and the genuine care exhibited by every staff member made me feel valued and well taken care of. Special thanks to Sofy for sorting out the accommodations and every staff at the kitchen. The breakfast buffet at Westin Maldives is a journey of flavors. Each dish, particularly the chutneys, was a delightful surprise. And added points for breakfast mimosas. The seafood and meat buffet at night was simply out of this world. Shoutout to the exceptionally talented Chef Min Bahadur, who takes care of the kitchen. His dedication to quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring everything was up to par, was a highlight of my dining experience. Thank you Chef for the sushi and grill chicken for breakfast. ;) The involvement of the Director of Operations, Laurent Reynieix, and the General Manager, Vijay Kumar, in daily operations is praiseworthy. Their regular interactions with guests, including myself, were not just refreshing but indicative of their commitment to excellence. In many five-star resorts, such high-level engagement is rare, but here, it sets a precedent. This resort isn't just a stay; it's an experience that transcends the usual. The professional demeanor of every staff member, their keen eye for detail, and the sheer determination to make the stay nothing short of amazing is why I would rate this experience beyond the conventional five stars. A 10-star rating would be more fitting! The Westin Maldives doesn’t just meet the standards set by Marriott Bonvoy; it surpasses them, reinforcing my decision to maintain my Elite status. It's not just about the points or the perks; it's about the consistent quality and the feeling of being part of a family that values excellence. We had our belated honeymoon at The Westin Maldives from 11-15 Nov. it was the most wonderful experience ever. As soon as our sea plane landed, we were warmly greeted by The Westin hospitality. The over water villa is huge, packed with everything we needed, the view of the Indian Ocean is just so amazing. All rooms come with an orange juice press and daily fresh refill of oranges as part of Westin live well, eat well motto. The service we experienced was immaculate. We enjoyed interacting with all their staff, learning a lot about day to day life and experiences of the locals as well as their international team. Special appreciation to Hotel manager Laurent Sung DJI Reynieix and Sous Chef Min Parajuli and their wonderful team. Laurent took the effort to chat with us daily or every time we meet at different parts of the property. Chef Min will always visit us at our table daily to ask for feedback about the food and drinks. When I couldn’t get used to the Diwali dinner, Chef Min specially prepared some dishes to ensure that I don’t go hungry. The team did everything they can to ensure that we truly enjoyed ourselves, were well fed and taken care of. The staff at the dive centre was amazing as well and they took very good care of our well being and safety. Special shout out to Ismail who brought us out to snorkel to see the sea turtles and jet ski tour. He always has our back and will keep a lookout for us throughout the whole trip. We are really blessed to have experienced the Westin Maldives hospitality. The people, the team makes a great difference to the excellence service experience and the team did a fantastic job! Maldives will always have a special place in my heart.

The PERFECT Honeymoon When researching potential hotels for our honeymoon in the Maldives, we started creating an Excel Sheet overview and rated 20+ hotels along different categories. The winner for us was The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. On paper the following points convinced us: Amazing house reef w/ very diverse marine life; Amazing villas & Dive Center on the Island. It was the first time for us to visit the Maldives and since it was our honeymoon (10 days), we had high expectations. To make it short: Our expectations were exceeded in a way that will be hard to describe by words. It was the PERFECT Honeymoon. To dive a little deeper: The Westin fulfills ALL the expectations that one has towards a hotel of that class: AMAZING nature (the house reef is incredible and we spotted sharks, rays and countless fishes), INCREDIBLE FOOD (we had 2-3 horse breakfast every morning and enjoyed the BEST breakfast of our lives including the best breakfast eggs one could wish for) and an extremely Luxurious resort (Amazing villas with incredible details, such as a private pool and open air shower). All of the above mentioned would have made our stay a 10 out of. But there is one more factor that made this stay unforgettable: The kindness, generosity, talent and continuous extra mile of the ENTIRE team. And we really mean the ENTIRE team. Every person that works in this hotel has just one goal: Anticipate your wishes and try to fulfill them before you even know you had this wish. We have never before in our life experienced such a level of hospitality. In the following, we want to thank some people especially, but we always include the entire team: Jorge: Jorge and his entire team work relentlessly to fulfill every culinary dream. The food is outstanding and no matter which requests you have, they will make it possible! Deepak: Deepak and his team work relentlessly to ensure all the logistics of food and beverages. Besides the incredible job the entire team is doing (and ensuring that there is never a lack of anything on the island), I remember sitting at breakfast on our first day, when some sun rays were hitting my eye and Deepak came running to our table to hand me his sunglasses. This is just an example of the outstanding work he and his team is doing. Laurent: Laurent is a phenomenom. While he is wearing a dozen hats at the same time, as he is the hotel manager, he always has time for a little chat and never feels stressed. He does an amazing job to align all the different departments from the hotel to ensure an extremely holistic experience. Sofie: Sofie was the first one to welcome us on the island and to show us around. She made sure that from the beginning every wish we had was fulfilled. Taath: Taath makes sure with his positive attitude that all the employees are happy and have a home away from their home. He enables every other employee to go the extra mile and has some of the most amazing drum skills I have ever seen. Shakyl: Shakyl and his housekeeping team work relentlessly to ensure that every single guest has the best villa experience possible. Never in my life have we experienced such an attention to detail and so much love and kindness from this entire team. Housekeeping falls short in describing what his team is doing. They are artists. Anton: The service level in all of the three restaurants is amazing. One person who really stood out is Anton, as he was fulfilling our wishes before we even knew we had them. Thank you so much! Fikree: Last but not least: Fikree. Fikree is one of the most outstanding people we got to know. He is not only extremely helpful, polite, curious and funny, but he made us feel at home thanks to his incredible kindness and hospitality. He treats every guest with the greatest respect, makes everyone laugh and is always available to solve any issue that a guest might have.
