I’d like to express my appreciation for Naza, the Front Desk Manager at The Westin, for her exceptional hospitality and hands-on service. She truly walks the talk - attentive to every detail and personally ensures guests have a seamless experience. Her presence is a gift. Beyond her professionalism, Naza went the extra mile by recommending local food and activities, which made my stay even more memorable. Her genuine care and thoughtful approach truly reflect the spirit of great hospitality. I also love the band with Claire and Darren throughout the nights at weekend. Claire has such a special style in her singing and she always had interactions with us! They made a great team and hope you stick to your passion and you both have a lot of fans!!!!

We used to be regulars at this resort but took a break for a while when the rates became a little higher than what locals like us could comfortably afford. What keeps bringing us back are the people especially the long-serving staff. They are always warm, friendly, and their hospitality is exceptional. The resort itself is showing its age and really needs refurbishment. On our recent stay (with more reasonable rates this time), we noticed that not much has changed. That said, seeing some of the familiar old staff again made us very happy and it was heartwarming to be back. Special thanks to the Splash Pool team, you’re always so much fun!! Food and service at Tide were great, and the Taste breakfast was enjoyable with champagne served every morning. We even had a funny little “surprise visitor” this trip, a baby snake outside our door one morning 🐍. I got a big scare and jumped, and the baby snake got scared and jumped with me too! 😂😂 Luckily it slithered away quickly, and we laughed it off as part of the resort’s natural charm. Overall, it was a happy return. We really hope to see the resort refreshed and modernized soon, because the wonderful staff and service truly deserve a better setting.

We stayed at the Westin Langkawi as a group and had 3 rooms (1204, 1212 & 1214). Overall a great stay — beautiful location, friendly staff and lots to do. Highlights: • Special shout-out to Hamisah Shafie — amazing with housekeeping and babysitting. • Gym and leisure centre were fantastic — take the buggy there and back. • Breakfast buffet was outstanding, and restaurant staff were super friendly. • Tides Restaurant food was delicious (a bit pricey but worth it). • Kids loved the pool and rock pool, and the spa/sauna is a hidden gem. • Clean rooms, generous water, and late checkout was a big plus. What could be better: • Entertainment at the lobby bar - brother / sister entertainment was fun but too short. Total of 2 hours with half hour break. They were great but it would be better if longer. • Safe and torch batteries didn’t work. • Extra 2 Towels had to be requested daily. We have 4 in our room. • Room 1214 had a sewage smell from the toilet in the mornings. • Gym ran out of hand sanitiser. • Marriott discount vouchers weren’t clear. • Pillows too big for a double bed. Ideal for the King bed. Tips: Hire a van with an international licence to explore. Great nearby spots: Yong Leong Seafood, Hidden Langkawi (fire show), and Restoran Makanan Laut Teo. Do the Mangrove Tour and stop by Scarborough Fish & Chips. Bellis Spa (10 mins away) is great value compared to the hotel spa. Ask the owner to drive you back to the Westin hotel. Overall, a beautiful resort with warm staff and amazing breakfast. A few small issues, but we’d happily come back again.

The team was very attentive even before our arrival. Special thanks to Mr.Rafi, the Loyalty Manager, for his kind assistance and warm welcome, and to Mr.Wise for the smooth check-in. Though our room wasn’t ready at the official check-in time, we were offered complimentary drinks at the bar and soon settled in. Such a thoughtful gesture. The pools are amazing! The views and beach are beautiful and there are plenty of activities going on. While the building is a little dated, the room has been nicely touched up, and was clean and comfortable. The friendly staff and warm hospitality made our trip truly memorable - really recommend for families with children!

I went here with my family. The service was really slow. We got our rooms after 2 hours post check-in time. And we had call the reception multiple times to get our luggage to the room. However, the property is amazing. They have multiple pool areas. The breakfast buffet has good variety and quality. I loved that they had vegan milk option and ice cream as well. The location is good as there are some cafes in walkable distance and a shopping mall as well. The rooms were clean but the property is old so that showed in the rooms. The washroom was spacious. They provide with all basic amenities and toiletries. Don't miss the pool side bar, they have amazing cocktails and the pizza is a must try.
