This is a really good hotel. The site, beach and pools are all well maintained in a beautiful setting, and all the staff were friendly. The rooms were large and comfy, with an excellent view from the balcony. The rooms are a little older, but have been maintained - we could smell the fresh paint. The reason why I haven't given 5 stars is for 2 reasons: 1. Breakfast was not great quality. It was always busy, and tables often dirty. The range of food is ok, but the quality of food is lower than other 5star resorts. 2. Recognition of Marriott loyalty - Westin resorts are supposed to have a club lounge, but this Westin only gives 2 drinks. I also felt that compared to other similar resorts, Marriott elite loyalty was not as recognized here. Oh, they have a lounge at Langkawi airport - but this will be permanently closed from the end of June 2025

Despite the hotel being slightly dated, the rooms are spacious and nicely organised. Staff are kind and caring - with a massive shoutout to Izwan (who was always looking out for us and made us feel special). The breakfast was varied and delicious. The best part was the swimming pool with an incredible view of the sea. Overall a 5 star experience for a couple. Would truly recommend

I don’t know where to start; simply one of my best hotel experiences ever. I reserved 2 rooms, for a family of 6. The hotel is family friendly and my kids had a great vacation. The hotel is cozy yet luxurious and huuuge. The restaurants are amazing, the food is delicious especially breakfast; many choices and satisfies most needs. The hotel amenities were great. You have 3 pool options hence you don’t feel any crowd at the pool. The beach is amazing (although the water itself is not the best, but the sand and view were very relaxing.) I would definitely recommend it and certainly hope one day to repeat the trip.

A Special Thank You to Biha at The Westin Langkawi We recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi Resort from 8th to 12th May 2025 for our PartnerCo Connects company event, and we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for a wonderful trainee staff member named Biha. Biha was in charge of the peanut and corn pancake station during breakfast, and her calmness, cheerful smile, and thoughtful service made a lasting impression on us. What truly stood out was her initiative—rather than making us wait by the counter while the pancakes were being prepared, she would kindly ask where we were seated and personally serve the freshly made pancakes to our table. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to enjoy our breakfast time more comfortably. We were also incredibly impressed by her ability to speak fluent Mandarin—a rare and admirable skill that showed her dedication to serving guests from all walks of life with warmth and grace. For a Malay trainee, that really amazed us! Biha, thank you for going the extra mile and for your genuine care. Room 1204 will always remember your kindness and outstanding service. We loved our stay at the Westin Langkawi. The location is stunning, the views are the best part of the resort. The services before my stay were great. I would like to thank Rafi for his great communication skills and catering an amazing stay for my friends. The resort does need a refurb but the views were worth the stay. The private beach is great and the spa services were really good - asked about the temperature of the room etc and gave me some oils to try out. I would really recommend this place for anyone staying in Langkawi.
