The Waters is a beautiful Hotel , set in some beautiful grounds , and close to shops / restaurants as well as being close to the beach . ( 5 mins walk ) The room we stayed in was fabulous , modern and with all the facilities you need - tea making / fridge / toiletries , dressing gown, slippers . It’s a relaxing hotel , quiet & peaceful with no entertainment provided ,in the evenings , since this can be found a few minutes walk away nearby from bars and restaurants . This is an ideal location as a base to see the sights , quieter than other resorts for those who want a peaceful , quiet & relaxing holiday . The staff are very helpful and friendly the service is exceptional . B&B was our stay , the food was good combining traditional breakfast with Thai food as well. The only recommendation was about the room , maybe the shower screen and toilet glass doors etc could be frosted glass for privacy and the same goes for the large patio windows which needs net curtains so that you don’t need to close the curtains so that no one can see inside . It’s a shame to close the sunshine out of your room . Another recommendation would be to have a shower mat and the large bath in the room is beautiful but needs shelving nearby to put toiletries - but the room was beautiful and open plan all the same , just a small detail personal for some individuals like myself . The gym was well equipped and open 24/7 and also another public room for guests if required with a tv , pool table and a computer to surf the net ( the latter I found useful to search about the area etc ) The main pool was lovely with a swim up pool but other pools were available all around the resort - liked that there was no loud music and no entertainments team who tried to whisk you away to do activities . Some activities were available but this hotel is for those who want peace and quiet . Once you stay at the Waters , you will come again - this was my second time now

Loving staying at the Waters! We originally had an upstairs room over one of the pools, but upgraded to a grounds floor room with direct access to the water from our patio area. The rooms are clean (and well cleaned daily - loving the artistic towel animals from the maid!!) and spacious with great bathrooms. Breakfast is good and they have special order sheets with options for vegetarians and gluten free. It is central to Bang Niang with loads of restaurants and bars within easy walking, as is the night market. Really recommend!

We stayed for two weeks, the last week of November to the 5th of December. From the minute we arrived we were treated with smiles, kindness and 5* service. We were shown to our villa where the gentleman explained the workings of our room and who to contact if we needed anything. From the moment we entered the room, we knew we'd enjoy our stay. The small touches such as the Splash bar being just a swim away, the canoe service, toiletries, room service and we can't forget the maids who did an excellent service keeping our room clean, stocked and tidy. The cose proximity to amenities such as bars, beach, restaurants, and the main road was the main reason we chose this hotel. The swim up room was a bonus. There was nothing like walking straight out to a patio area and into the pool. Any hiccups we had, losing a room key and a remote, were dealt with in minutes, no questions asked, we later found both, which we just misplaced them amongst our clothes. My only quibble is with the room design, having to open the curtains to open the sliding door and banging our heads on the telly which was next to said door. The staff, every single one, was polite and professional. The grounds were stunning, pools were clean and inviting. Our room was in the shade all day, perfect for us as we're not ones to bake in it. Drinks and room service food was delicious and reasonable in price. Well done to everyone, we'll be back!

My partner and I stayed at The Waters in Khao Lak for one week and ended up extending our stay for an additional two nights due to my partner becoming unwell. Throughout our entire time there, the staff were incredibly accommodating and supportive. They helped us organise a new room with no stress at all, and we are especially grateful to Por, who went above and beyond to assist us during a difficult moment. The service was consistently excellent — from daily room cleaning to quick and reliable room service. The team also helped call taxis for us each day and were always available to answer any questions we had. The accommodation itself is very clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. We felt genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend The Waters to anyone visiting Khao Lak. Exceptional staff, lovely rooms, and truly outstanding service!

Great hotel. We stayed in a water wing swim up room in the new part. The room was large and spotless with the most comfortable huge bed. It’s a large resort and our room was the furthest away but they have a buggy service if you need it. The pool was huge and really clean. The bar staff would come round in a canoe during happy hour to take cocktail orders. This was a fabulous idea. All the staff were happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We have already booked to visit again next t year. Didn’t want to leave.
