We absolutely adored our stay. The waters has exceptional staff who looked after us extremely well. They are all a credit to the hotel and are always courteous and friendly. We had some requests that were acted on extremely well and very quickly. The maid June did a fantastic job of looking after us too. The breakfast was very good and they staff on the omelette station were very efficient. Bacon was very much overdone for us but the rest of the choice made up for this. Facilities are excellent with 7 pools, they are clean, refreshing and inviting. We were luckily upgraded to an upper pool access room from the Bay room due to refurbishment. The bed was super comfortable but actually was huge and sheets cleaned Almost daily. The staff sorted out a chair and cushion for my Dad and air con started leaking and was sorted out within a hour with a bowl of fruit sent up for the very slight inconvenience. This was a brilliant gesture. We were there 7 days and we absolutely lived the hotel and the location. We definitely aim to return.

We loved our stay at The Waters. It exceeded our expectations. The property was immaculately clean - the grounds, the pools and the rooms. The staff were lovely and helpful. And perfectly positioned to stroll to local restaurants and the market. We would definitely stay here again!

It would have been a 5. However, the resort is being renovated, so we didn't get the whole vibe. Swim up pool closed and bar closed & our room was changed due to this. Apart from this it was an enjoyable stay, all staff super friendly and helpful. We had a pool room which was handy and relaxing. It's in a very quiet area (low season) but enough restaurants and massage places around for your choosing 😊 The beach is within walking distance if you want to use sunchairs at another restaurant & purchase drinks. Happy holidays 🥰

The only problem with staying at places like this is that you worry about the next hotel you have booked! I've stayed at many resorts and hotels in Thailand and this rates as the best I've been to in Phuket. Staff: Very respectful, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Rooms: Absolutely beautiful and all have access to the many surrounding pools. The hotel was quiet, and rooms designed in a way that supports a restful night. The rooms were made up the same time each day, and they rectified a minor problem in the room that we didn't even report! Pools: Every room overlooks a pool. 30 seconds and you are in a very clean, well maintained pool. The large pool has a bar, aptly named the Bubble Bar. Plenty of sunbeds.. and each room has two allocated at the front of each room, or on the balconies of upper floors. Gym: The gym has two treadmills, one elliptical, a multi function cable machine (outdated but still works). Dumbbells went to about 12.5kg. Plenty of room to make it better. No fitness classes or in house trainer. Breakfast: Fresh food, huge selection of breads and a changing daily menu. Great coffee, juices, fresh fruit. On par with some of the great hotels. I've stayed at. Happy hour: Pool - 3-5pm. 120b for any cocktail. Restaurant - for two hours in the evening, same prices. Laundry: Has a top loader and dryer (do it yourself). Plenty nearby laundromats. A huge do it yourself also up on the main road. Kid friendly: Yes. LGBT Friendly: Yes. Beaches: five minutes stroll to the main beach, but it's not really the nicest beach. The waves can be dangerous and rips even more so. Transport. Plenty. Motorbike hire - we used Five Star motorcycle rental up on the main road. Though you can hire from multiple places a little cheaper, close to the hotel. About us: Dual travelers. From Australia. Much experience travelling throughout Thailand over the last ten years. Best things about the Waters: Relaxing atmosphere, pools, food, staff, and rooms. The whole hotel is designed extremely well. Very well maintained in every aspect. What could be improved? Not much really. Maybe some pillows for the sunbeds and more equipment in the gym. A sqaut rack and heavier dumbbell and one more bench. I noticed there was not option to buggy people down to the beach, or to the markets etc.

The first half of our stay was perfect. We requested a quiet area, had a beautiful swim up pool room with terrace to relax on. It was just what we wanted for our honeymoon. Second week was not so relaxing. Our quiet was very much disturbed by quite a number families moving into our area, with young children making lots of noise. I have no issue with children having fun, but I would suggest having separate areas for families with young children, to those staying wanting tranquility, peace and quiet. The breakfast buffet included in our stay had a good selection of food, all very fresh and delicious. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The good people of Thailand are all wonderful! Overall our stay was lovely, and the hotel is very well placed for easily getting to the beach, and an abundance of restaurants and bars. We were never stuck for anywhere to eat and drink of an evening. We would definitely choose The Waters again, and we will absolutely be visiting Thailand again very soon, it’s now our number one holiday destination! 🥰
