Alternatively, Laguna Phuket golf club is approximately 15-minutes’ drive away, while a fun day out at Splash Jungle waterpark is about 35 minutes away from the hotel.

Authentic Thai Luxury Done Right After a string of disappointments elsewhere, The Surin was a breath of fresh air. It is the exact opposite of the "faded glory" resorts nearby; it feels alive, respected, and impeccably managed. The Vibe: Authentic, Not "Plastic" While many modern resorts in Phuket have opted for a "dry, modern plastic" look, The Surin stays true to its roots. It honors the traditional Thai bungalow style, and although it isn't a brand-new build, it is exceptionally well-maintained. You get the charm of classic architecture without the decay. Highlights: Nature & Amenities • The Beach: Absolutely stunning. We’re talking pristine waters and a location that feels exclusive and peaceful. • The Grounds: Everything from the landscaping to the common areas is top-tier. It actually feels like the luxury experience you’re paying for. • Value: It is worth every penny. You feel the quality in the service and the atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The Food: The Only Minor Letdown If there is one area for improvement, it’s the kitchen. The food wasn't "bad" by any means, but it felt "white-washed." The local Thai cuisine seemed stripped of its soul; missing that authentic, bold punch of flavor you expect from real Southern Thai cooking. It felt a bit too tailored for a Western palate, which is a shame given how authentic the rest of the resort feels. Final Verdict If you want a resort that respects its surroundings and offers a truly high-end, polished experience, stay here. Just maybe head out into town if you're craving a truly spicy, authentic green curry.

One of my best friends got married at the Surin and wow - it was a fairytale wedding! The location is incredible , very accessible with a motobike or cars. The hotel itself has everything you need so you could decide to never leave 😂 the rooms / villas are very private giving you lots of intimacy and they were so spacious even for the most basic one! The breakfast buffet and food more generally was outstanding - lots of offerings for everyone The pool is great and big enough but the best part is the private beach! The water is pristine and so calming The staff was 100000/10! I’d 1000% go back :)

We stayed here for five nights and loved it! This is the best hotel in Phuket, possibly in Thailand. We enjoyed every single moment here. The cottages are clean, spacious and luxurious. The beach is quiet, clean and feels private. Breakfast is also really good. The staff is super friendly, helpful and they made us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

The Surin sits on an incredible, pristine beach shared with just one other hotel, easily one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Rooms are spread organically through the hillside, almost like elegant treehouses, with a simple, pleasant design, extremely comfortable beds and lovely views over the bay. The pool is just steps from the shore, and both the beach bar and the two restaurants offer great food in atmospheres ranging from casual to more refined. Breakfast is generous and delicious. Staff are exceptionally kind and the service is flawless. The only downside is that some rooms require long walks and many stairs. We were lucky to be moved close to the beach, but the first room offered was far too high and difficult to reach. Overall, The Surin is hard to beat. Its location and its extraordinary beach make it truly unique.

Everything was truly perfect, down to the smallest details. We almost hesitate to recommend this hotel, simply because it feels like the kind of place you want to keep to yourself. But honestly, this hotel deserves nothing but praise. What made our stay so special was the way the team genuinely thinks along with their guests. Even at our departure, we were pleasantly surprised. Because we were leaving later in the day, we were given an extra room to shower without even having to ask, while our original room was already being prepared. These are exactly the kinds of thoughtful touches you don’t think of yourself, but that create an incredible sense of comfort and care. This hotel doesn’t just offer excellent service, it truly anticipates the wishes of its guests before you even express them. That is what makes this place exceptional and our stay unforgettable. The most beautiful and atmospheric hotel we have ever stayed at. No mass tourism, just a calm, warm and intimate atmosphere that makes it truly special. We have stayed at many luxury hotels before, but this one has something extra. A certain character and ambiance that immediately makes you feel at ease. Everything is perfectly balanced: the surroundings, the design, the tranquility. For us, it felt like a piece of heaven on earth. Everything is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. We came here to completely unwind and enjoyed every single moment.
