The Strat is older and maybe not as"fancy" as other Vegas hotels, but it is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice sized and clean. I felt safe here, and as a woman traveling alone, that definitely matters! My interactions with the staff were great! They are very nice and professional!! I'll stay here again!!

I stayed here last year The rooms were actually nice and they had refurbished the hotel from the old days. I loved the views from the tower. The only problem was because it's a naked city which is a dangerous area in Las Vegas You really don't want to walk around at night. I did brave it over to Golden steer but it definitely wasn't safe and I couldn't imagine with children walking around that area at night looking for food. The reason I gave it such a low score is because none of the restaurants were open the 3 days I stayed there You literally could barely eat anywhere there were no food choices that were realistic. It's not very smart of them considering probably most of the customers would eat at those restaurants since they're not in a part of the strip where people want to comfortably walk around at night. So the restaurants would probably be packed and people would be willing to pay even extra for the safety ease and security of eating in the hotel. They must have five restaurants in there that were closed when I stayed there. Almost at no time of day could I eat food that I bought inside the hotel although there were restaurants there They just were all closed. Now maybe this is fixed it's been a year but I was not impressed by that. If they were in the main part of the strip nobody would care because you could just walk to the neighboring hotels. But it kind of felt like you needed to put on a bulletproof vest to walk through that neighborhood at night. It's just a rough part of town even though it's close to that tourist areas it's not safe for the average tourist to go walking out looking for food at night. Fortunately I've traveled to 39 countries in my life and I'm pretty self-aware of my surrounding so I wasn't too worried walking to Golden steer a few blocks away but it still felt quite dodgy outside.

I rented a cabana at the swim & social. In my opinion the food and beverages are overpriced. I was charged $150.00 for the bottle service. I had to wait over an hour to receive a 375oz Don Julio bottle. It took another 40 minutes to get cups and shot glasses. The server was very polite and professional I also understand that server's don't have control over the kitchen and orders, but it wasn't a busy day. It took almost 2 hours to get the complimentary fruit tray. It also took 2 hours to get a salad. I've had a better time and experience at other hotels on the strip with far better food quality and beverage options. If you ask me you're better off going elsewhere to enjoy a day at the pool.

Worst “hospitality” staff ever! This maze of a hotel is a complete circus. Honestly, no wonder you’ve landed in Vegas. The housekeeping is inexistent. Even putting up giant road signs at your door won’t get your room cleaned. During my whole 5-day stay, I had to wake up every day just to chase them down the corridors for new towels instead of enjoying a cocktail by the pool. Not to mention the useless reception staff. I reached out to ask for help to deposit money, so I was told to simply use one of the ATM machines in the casino lobby. At first, I thought they only allowed one to withdraw considering they usually regurgitate, not take, money, so I gave it a go. There were no clear directions on the screen whatsoever, so the ATM withdrew the amount I intended to deposit, and for that, I was charged a processing fee. Something that the staff didn’t mention or help me resolve but merely begrudgingly denied any responsibility with utmost sarcasm.

This is my third time staying at the Stratosphere hotel. This hotel has some of the best views in Vegas. I can't say enough good things about this place . To me, it's a Las Vegas icon. It's clear how genuine, kind and dedicated the staff are. They bring such positivity in every situation. Always offering a helping hand, sharing knowledge and making people feel valued and comfortable.
