This was our fourth time staying at The standard Maldives , and somehow each visit just keeps getting better. From the very moment we stepped off the boat, we were welcomed with the kind of warmth and genuine care that immediately makes you feel at home, yet at the same time like the most valued guests in the world. What makes this property so extraordinary is not just the beauty of the Maldives itself crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and sunsets that leave you speechless,but the way every single detail of your stay is elevated. The staff here are truly next level. They don’t just do their jobs, they pour their hearts into ensuring every guest feels special. From our host who anticipated our needs before we even thought of them, to the chefs who created meals that could rival any fine-dining experience, to the housekeeping team who added the most thoughtful touches, every single person made us feel beyond spoiled. We have stayed at several resorts in the Maldives over the years, and while they are all beautiful in their own ways, The Standard stands in a league of its own. It is not just a holiday, it is an experience one that leaves you with memories that stay long after you return home. Every meal, every swim, every moment felt like magic. After five days here, we left feeling completely recharged, grateful, and honestly emotional at having to say goodbye. This was our 2nd time in Maldives and we chose to stay in the Standard for 6 nights this time. This is a great resort, not too big, not too small. We never felt crowded even though the resort was 75% to 80% occupancy. The beach/pool area always felt quite empty with plenty of sun loungers to choose from without competition. It has everything you need so you can pack light. If you like snorkelling, they have all the equipment for you to use without charge. The house reef is very good between ocean villa 1 to 14 and near the supply jetty. If you are a keen/confident snorkeller, you can swim from the ocean water villa to the house reef easily in 2,3 mins when it's at high tide. I also like the little speaker in the room, which is great too so you can put on your favourite music. Our concierge Zainu was very responsive, no waiting, and sorted out everything and special arrangements for us without any problems. Apart from all the usual nice friendly staff in the restaurant, bars and spa. I also have to praise the clinic in The Standard Maldives. It tucks away in a tiny corner, but it's very important when you need it. We came to the Standard from another local island in Baa where we did so many activities as well as got quite a few mosquito bites. My hubby had a bit of an allergic reaction from the bites and ear pressure problem from the dives. The doctors in The Standard clinic were so kind and nice to check his problems and gave some simple medication like camomile lotion, antihistamine, ear drops, pain relief, etc. These are all free of charge. Seriously, they have your back if you fell a little ill. It's a very reassuring service to have when you travel to a remote island. Thank you The Standard Maldives. We really like this place and you would too.

Our stay at The Standard Huruvalhi Maldives was truly unforgettable, booked via JTR Holidays. From arrival to departure, the entire experience was completely hassle-free. The Lagoon Overwater Villa was incredible, beautifully designed with all the amenities you could wish for, including a private pool and even swimming kits. The dining experience at Kula, the main buffet restaurant, was excellent. The variety of dishes was impressive, and the best part is that they keep changing a few items at each lunch and dinner, which keeps every meal exciting and fresh, simply awesome! The beach area right in front of Kula, with its pristine white sand and the main swimming pool, made it even more special. The resort also offers plenty of indoor activities like snooker, table tennis, and carrom board, as well as music and entertainment programs that vary each day, adding something new to look forward to. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, ensuring we felt at home throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Mr. Shamaau, whose exceptional service and attentiveness made our experience even better. The only suggestion I would make is for the resort to provide some guidance on sunburn prevention for guests with sensitive skin, such as when to avoid direct sun exposure and what to apply. Apart from that, everything was absolutely perfect. We would definitely recommend The Standard Huruvalhi Maldives to anyone seeking a perfect Maldivian escape, and we extend a big thanks to JTR Holidays for making this experience possible!

Mr. Irfan, the diving instructor, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the underwater experience both safe and unforgettable.
