I would not even give this a 1 rating. I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent experience at The Soco House St Lucia. After arriving at the property, I was immediately shocked, as the hotel did not resemble the images or descriptions advertised on the website. In fact, I did not remain at the hotel for even 24 hours. two very exhausted women after a nine-hour flight followed by a two hour drive to this hotel, were required to carry our own luggage up the stairs to our room. While walking to the room, it was already apparent that the property did not match what had been promoted online. Once we entered the room, we were met with a strong smell of rot, mould, and damp. The room was dirty, unpleasant, and completely unacceptable. It was clear that the condition of the accommodation fell far below reasonable standards. We went downstairs to raise our concerns and were told we had to wait a considerable amount of time for the manager to attend to us. During this wait, we ordered food at the restaurant. The meal took one hour and 20 minutes to arrive and, when it did, it was horrid we didn’t eat it. When the manager finally arrived, she showed us two alternative rooms. They were in the same unacceptable condition as the first. We made it clear that we did not wish to change rooms & we wanted our full refund. Although she agreed, we were told we would be penalised for four days because we were choosing to leave. This was completely unreasonable given that the issues stemmed from false advertising and unacceptable accommodation standards. This entire experience was distressing and deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others not to part with their money to stay at this hotel. In my view, the property is misrepresented online and does not deliver what it promises.

Highlights - The food was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t realise before booking that meals are fresh and organic, and we absolutely loved the à la carte style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. - Portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food can be a little hit or miss, but we didn’t have a bad meal during our stay. - Cocktails were good. Expect simple rather than elaborate and it’s a nice touch that you can take a cool box down to the beach. - The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference to the overall experience. - The location is fantastic, right in Rodney Bay. There is currently a new hotel being built opposite, which didn’t impact us too much, but it can get noisy. - Rodney Bay itself is lively and busy, often late into the evening, so this is worth bearing in mind however, the hotel itself is very peaceful. Lowlights: - The pool area is very nice, although a few cushions could do with replacing however, not a major issue. - Portions are small, and while food quality is good overall, expectations should be managed if you’re used to a more traditional all-inclusive experience. - The gym and spa were closed for most of our stay. This wasn’t a big issue for us personally, but they shouldn’t be advertised if they’re not available to guests.

A 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The food was very good, and the service was on saint Lucian time. Our room 419, right by the very nice pool, was serviced daily by a very lovely lady , she was as happy and friendly as all the other staff were and made us feel welcome. The new manager was very hands on and easy to chat to, He was always interested in how our stay was going and what he could do to help us. We would love to go back very soon. Paul and Wendy.

Arrived at Soco House on 1st March. From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff were super friendly and helpful. We went as a couple and this hotel suited us down to the ground. Room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. We never had any problem getting a sun lounger and drinks at the pool bar were excellent. 3 meals a day plus afternoon tea. We have read other reviews about the slow service, it isn't slow, it's 'island time!' Hotel location is fabulous, 2 minute walk to the beach where they have their own loungers and will provide you with a cool box of drinks to take with you. Impossible to name everyone who made our stay so special, but massive shout out to Charles, Rose, Gavin and Carlito at the bar. Eloise and her team in the restaurant, and the lovely Tony who was always on hand to help and had a smile on his face. Vlad, the manager, also excellent and took the time to talk to every guest each day. Every member of staff at this hotel is wonderful. We will be back! Chris and Gail, UK.

A Chic, Boutique Paradise in Rodney Bay! 🌴✨ ​Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​If you’re looking for a sophisticated, adults-only getaway in St. Lucia, SoCo House is the place to be! It perfectly blends "South Beach chic" with warm Caribbean hospitality. ​What I loved: ​The Food: The a la carte dining here is top-tier. Every meal felt like a gourmet experience with fresh, local flavors. ​The Vibe: The all-white, boutique aesthetic is stunning and incredibly "Instagrammable." It feels intimate, peaceful, and far more exclusive than the massive resorts. ​The Staff: Truly the heart of the hotel, Guided very professionaly by the new General Manager Vlad. They are attentive, friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel like a VIP. ​Location: Tucked away for privacy, but only a short walk to the beautiful Reduit Beach and the lively shops of Rodney Bay. ​It’s the perfect spot for couples or friends looking for style, relaxation, and incredible service. I can’t wait to go back!
