We stayed in January for 7 nights, it was our second stay. We are about to book for January 2027, we have traveled extensively and nothing comes close to the slate. Everything is perfect, you feel very safe, cleanliness is perfect, the staff are the best I’ve ever come across. Then there’s the food and drink. Every restaurant is amazing, even the poolside snacks are to die for. We had dinner every night at the hotel, yes it’s more expensive than outside the hotel but boy is it worth it. Drinks before dinner at rebar making full use of the buy one get one free happy hour followed by amazing food served downstairs at rivet makes for a great night, more people should take advantage. Couple of staff there excel (palm and wine). Late night cap at the Tongkah syndicate, great staff and drinks served perfectly. Rooms are in a fab industrial style and the beach across the road is sublime. P.s if you happen to be there when Sunday brunch is on jump at the chance you won’t regret it!

Lovely to be able to return to this fabulous hotel, albeit in different circumstances due to middle east issues. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Staff around the pools kept us refreshed with cold towels, plenty of water and fresh fruit sticks. Comfortable rooms with great towels and linens. Plenty of water in the room too. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice. Lovely buffet dinner watching the fire show. This really is a special hotel, reflecting Thailand's tin mining history. The gardens and grounds were beautifully maintained. Hope to be back next year.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It's an wonderful resort with lot of open area and greenery. We stayed in a private pool room which was beautiful decorated and spacious. We were also given a complimentary champagne. Breakfast spread and in room dining both were delicious. The resort is right at the beach and surroundings are peaceful. Overall, the property is amazing with attention to detail and serenity.

Our stay at The Slate Phuket was truly unforgettable. The resort was incredibly peaceful and calm, offering the perfect escape from the busy world. Surrounded by nature, we felt a deep connection with the environment, the soothing sound of birds singing in the morning, the gentle rain, and the tranquil atmosphere made every moment special. What stood out the most was the warmth and respect shown by every staff member. Their sincere greetings of “Sawadeeka” reflected the rich Thai culture and made us feel genuinely welcomed and respected throughout our stay. Their hospitality added a unique and memorable touch to the experience. A special mention must go to the spa experience. The Thai massage is an absolute must-try! My husband and I chose the Relaxing and Fusion Massage, and it was simply amazing. From the moment it began, we felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The therapists were highly skilled, and every technique was performed with care and professionalism. It was one of the best massage experiences we have ever had, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was an excellent variety of food available, catering to different tastes and preferences. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. If you’re planning to stay at The Slate Phuket, I highly recommend including breakfast with your booking. It is absolutely worth it and a great way to start each day. As for the rooms, don’t expect the typical ultra-modern, luxury hotel concept. The Slate embraces a unique character and design of its own. That said, the room was clean, neat, and well maintained throughout our stay. One feature we absolutely loved was the hot shower. The water temperature was excellent, which made coming back to a warm shower after a rainy day incredibly comforting and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, enjoy excellent food, indulge in a wonderful spa experience, and experience authentic Thai hospitality, The Slate Phuket is the perfect destination. We will definitely be coming back! 🫰🏻

We loved our stay at The Slate, the design concept is consistently dark and luxurious and it smelt amazing. The two adult pools were lovely and clean with lots of beds and snacks and water bought round. We stayed in P on the far side of the resort and although this was more of a walk we liked the quiet. There were families with young children but they were the other side of the resort and we only saw them at breakfast. The airport was only a 10 Min drive and the only time we saw/heard the occasional plane was on the beach. It did not disrupt in any way. The breakfast was the best we had in this trip and we loved the number of options and choices all cooked fresh. The beach is lovely, you can get sunbeds and an umbrella for around 150 Baht per person for the day. The mats provided by the hotel were not great but understand the resort does not own the beach, great safe swimming and sunsets. The resort was reasonably quiet with a good choice of restaurants, massage and a 7-eleven. It is a 40 min taxi ride to Phuket and we did a snorkelling trip to the Phi Phi islands arranged by the hotel which was really good. We enjoyed several eve meals at The Slate, including. Black Ginger, BBQ seafood and we had room service after a long day out. Special mention to housekeeping who kept our room clean with two visits a day and unlimited water. Every interaction we had with the staff was positive and I would recommend this hotel.
