My husband and I recently spent a week at The Samaya, and it was nothing short of a glorious experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine kindness that we instantly felt at home. The staff at this resort are truly remarkable — the most kind, attentive, and helpful people we have ever encountered in our travels. Every detail of our stay was handled with such care and professionalism, yet always delivered with a personal touch. Whether it was the thoughtful service at breakfast, the immaculate upkeep of the villas, or the way every request was met with a smile, the level of hospitality was exceptional in every sense. The resort itself is stunning — serene, beautifully maintained, and the perfect setting for a truly relaxing escape. But what made our stay unforgettable was the people. The dedication and warmth of the team at The Samaya elevated our holiday beyond all expectations. We will absolutely return.

This resort was amazing! First, the hospitality. Everyone here was very friendly and attentive to us. I was impressed that the staff even knew our names and addresed us accordingly when we arrive at the restaurant or in greeting us as we passed. Next was the location. The resort is within the town area so just stepping out of the resort will bring you into the town area. A 3 minute walk will take you to the main street where you can find food, shops, spas etc. And not the resort itself. The resort is situated right at the beach so you get a beautiful view of the sea at all times, whether you're having breakfast or dinner at the restaurant, or just chilling at the poolside. Although there are villas at the main resort, we booked one of the larger private villas which was located across the street. You can either walk over in about 2 minutes or call for a buggy and they will transport you to and from your villa. I do want to just say that while there are 2 restaurants at the resort, the main one is Breeze at the beach area. Although the website and GM's letter states that the other restaurant, Brasserie, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, that is incorrect. The Brasserie only serves afternoon tea and is totally empty most times. But then, you can always head to the Breeze very easily. All in, I would say that we had a great stay at The Samaya and will definitely be back in the future!

We stayed at The Samaya for the start of our honeymoon in Bali, and it was the perfect introduction to the island. The villa was absolutely stunning, with a wide range of luxurious amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The staff were exceptional – so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We really felt looked after from the moment we arrived, with the team paying close attention to every detail. Breakfast each morning was varied and delicious, and the afternoon tea was such a lovely touch – something we really looked forward to each day. We were genuinely sad to leave and would absolutely recommend The Samaya to anyone looking for a luxurious, welcoming, and memorable experience in Bali.

We stayed at The Samaya Seminyak in July 2025 as a family, and overall had a lovely experience. The hotel is well maintained with a beautiful pool area, ocean views, and large daybeds that gave off real Bali vibes. The restaurant served decent food, though it leaned more European than Balinese. Staff were friendly and the evening atmosphere was cozy with candlelit tables facing the sea. That said, there wasn’t full poolside service – you had to walk up to the restaurant to place orders. There were a couple of small hiccups – we briefly had no hot water one day (quickly fixed), our jacuzzi took almost an hour to fill enough for the bubble system to work and one night there was a large wedding on-site we weren’t informed about in advance. Service around the pool could also have been more attentive, especially considering the price range. However, we had a change of travel plans and decided to leave earlier than expected. After speaking with Karmaya (the manager), we were generously offered a refund for our last two nights – something we really appreciated, even if it’s in no way standard policy. All in all: great location, relaxing vibe, and beautiful surroundings – but the service could be sharper for the price.

We stayed in the samya for few night The villa looks old and furnitures are overused The jacuzzi is not working well. Unfortunately, during cleaning our room they kept the door open and found a lizard inside out bathroom and a lot of mosquitoes and bugs However the staffs and the service is amazing and perfect All staffs are readily to help , friendly and respectful. The Breeze restaurant is average The food is normal nothing special One of the day, we had to wait for 45 mins for our food to come and there was a mistake in the order! The advantage was the good view of the beach. The main swimming pool was clean and refreshing. Easy access to the beach, clean sand and great view of the sunset.
