My stay at Salil Hotel Bangkok Riverside was truly memorable. The riverside view is stunning—especially at sunset—creating a calm, postcard-like atmosphere right from the pool deck. The swimming pool area is beautifully designed with tropical greenery and comfortable loungers, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the Chao Phraya River breeze. The room felt cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with warm lighting and tasteful wooden accents that made it easy to unwind after a day out in Bangkok. What made the experience exceptional was the service. Every staff member was attentive and kind, but I want to give special thanks to Fairy Bew. She was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to help us try traditional Thai clothing. She patiently took many lovely photos for us, turning a simple moment into a wonderful cultural memory we’ll never forget. Great view, relaxing pool, cozy rooms, and truly the best service—highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok.

What a gorgeous hotel! Meen, Pugkad, and Cherry were so welcoming when we arrived, offering a welcome drink and letting us know our room with the complimentary rollaway bed was ready despite our early arrival. Our room was huge and beautifully appointed, we also had a view of the river to watch the boats go by. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the artwork is stunning. This hotel also offered a complimentary river boat that took you to several locations. We would get off at the first stop and immediately be able to catch a tuk tuk to the very center of Bangkok. Highly recommend!

The only downside to this hotel was initially inadequate provision for the arrival of our package party. We had to wait 6 hours from arrival at the hotel to being able to access our rooms. Following long flights from the UK, we were transferred to the hotel at around 9 am only to be told that we wouldn’t be able to access rooms until 3 pm. There was inadequate space in the lobby for the number of guests and only after heated discussion were we finally given rooms around 2.40 pm. There may have been a language issue, but there seemed to be a lack of understanding and empathy for our situation. This scenario happened again in Singapore, but the hotel staff there dealt with it differently by showing sympathy and providing free coffee until our rooms were available, much earlier than the normal check-in time. Having said that, the room we were given was excellent and our stay was extremely enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and polite and the facilities were second to none. Aom, in reception/concierge, gave us great advice on places to visit and things to do and booked us a guided tour of Bangkok. So, we had a great stay, after the initial glitch, and would highly recommend this hotel.

Book the hotel! I travel a lot and stay in some really cool places around the world. This hotel has nailed it down to a tee! The staff are great haven’t had any bad encounters, the hotel is spot on very clean, good facilities and mega relaxing! The rooms even just standard ones have everything going for them down to the small details which matter! I stayed with my brother but I would highly recommend if visiting with a partner as would be perfect for couples. I would book this hotel again with a smile on my face. Fantastic! Also a bonus it’s great value for money!

Five stars for the staff, BEAM. I checked in the hotel on February 20th and was led by staff BEAM to experience a traditional Thai costume activity. She was very professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English, which allowed for great communication. She was also a great photographer, helping my mother and me create wonderful memories. We were very impressed with BEAM. As first-time guests at this hotel, her hospitality while we waited for our room to be prepared gave us a very positive first impression. We request that the management team reward her. Yu Ting Weng.
