What an unforgettable experience at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi! We absolutely loved everything: the incredible service from all staff, the spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, the great Infinity pool, the delicious restaurants/bars, and the variety of wildlife. Special thanks to Mia at the reception for the warmest welcome, and to Ling Lee who took special care of us at the Horizon. Huge thanks to Jia En, Aira, Anik, Amirul, Hamdi, and all French interns (Léa, Julia, Capucine…) for their kindness. Overall, we had the most amazing time, we highly recommend and will definitely come back!

We had such a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton, and a big part of it was thanks to Farez. He was incredibly friendly and kind to my children, especially my sons. Farez went out of his way to bring my sons to see monkeys and even a monitor lizard, which absolutely made their day! What really stood out was how patient and attentive he was, answering all of my son’s questions with genuine care and enthusiasm. You could truly see how much he enjoys what he does. Honestly, we’ll be coming back not just for the hotel, but for Farez. My son has already told me he wants to come back here to celebrate his birthday — and that says everything. Thank you, Farez, for creating such a memorable experience for our family.

I would say one of the best experience and memorable days in Ritz Carlton Langkawi hotel. Service, rooms, nature, arrangements are all on highest level. Staff are very friendly and polite, especially would like to mention Nargiza, she is very helpful, attentive and friendly person. It was my son’s bday, we didn’t even say but she noticed herself and arranged for him beautiful surprise which made him so happy. I really appreciate that. Kids playing area attendant was also super friendly and professional. I wish I will back again for next vacation. This experience was so special and lovely🌺❤️

One of the best hotels I have ever been to! Spacious rooms, delightful service - we got a bath drawn for us as a surprise after a long day sightseeing and a complimentary teatime sampler of baked goods each day. The room overlooks the sea so the views were amazing. We also had the pleasure of learning more about sea cucumbers and the local ecology. I would also highly recommend the Spa - please come early if you make an appointment because they have great facilities like a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. In general, the service here is unstinting and generous and I really commend all the staff.

Unfortunately, my experience at this resort was very disappointing. During my stay (September 30, 2025) with my infant baby, I encountered several issues that made my vacation stressful instead of relaxing. Upon check-in, I was given a room that could only be accessed by stairs, which was very difficult with a baby stroller. When asked if I was celebrating any occasion, I mentioned that it was my first trip after giving birth — but this was completely ignored. In every other luxury resort I’ve stayed at, staff have shown genuine care and professionalism by sending a small gift or congratulations. Sadly, this resort showed no attention or sensitivity toward families or new mothers. No baby amenities were provided — not even a crib or basic baby products, which are usually standard in family-friendly resorts. The worst experience happened at the pool area (Villa 20). I was carrying my baby after swimming at the beach and asked where I could rinse him off. Several staff members directed me to the pool shower area, but once I started rinsing him, a staff member suddenly told me it was not allowed. I explained that it was cold and windy, and my baby couldn’t handle it, but he gave me only five minutes. While I was rinsing my baby quickly, another female staff member entered and started speaking loudly and harshly, insisting I leave immediately, even though I had just given birth and was clearly struggling. The male staff then told me I could not have my baby with me at the pool area at all — not even on the lounge chairs. He stood there watching me with no respect for privacy, then removed the pool towels from my chair even though my bag was still there. It was an extremely uncomfortable and humiliating experience. Overall, the resort’s attitude toward families was disappointing and unprofessional. My entire vacation was ruined because of this poor treatment. Additionally, an activity I never attended was added to my final bill, so please double-check your invoices before signing. The only positive part of my stay was the Spa, which was excellent — professional staff and truly memorable moments. I sincerely hope management takes serious action to improve staff training and family care standards.
