Terrific hotel. We stayed in Villa 2 which was truly wonderful. Everything in the room worked very well: comfortable bed (with good cotton sheets), excellent air con, great bathroom (with plenty of space, good shower pressure, comfortable bath, high quality toiletries), comfortable sitting room, dining areas inside and out, warm private pool and good sun lounges. Very private with wonderful views of the sunrise every morning. A nice touch is the staff bringing tea and coffee (large selection) on request. From the pool area we saw sea eagles, brahminy kites, otters(!) and darting swifts. The Chinese restaurant (Hai Yan) is highly recommended and especially for its dim sum breakfast (the main breakfast room was a bit frenetic and overly busy). Above all, thanks to (1) Sudhir Gogenini (Room Manager) for giving us such a lovely room, (2) Megha for wonderful housekeeping (3) Musz our butler for ensuring that our stay was so enjoyable and (4) all the staff - all of them: marvellous!

I cannot begin to describe how absolutely perfect our experience was at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi. We booked for 10 nights for our honeymoon, the staff throughout have made it a completely unforgettable and memorable experience for us. It is a truly beautiful place to stay, nestled in the forest with pristine pools and beach. I’d like to give special mention to three staff in particular, who went completely above and beyond: 1. Mia. She is an outstanding representative and ambassador of the brand. I had to visit the medical clinic for a concern I had, when I asked to see a doctor, she came to find us during our dinner to help make those arrangements. She did so with true care and compassion, and made arrangements within an hour to make it happen. Throughout our stay, she regularly checked in on my condition. She is a genuinely compassionate person with a big heart. 2. Muhen, Senior Concierge - another outstanding ambassador to the Ritz Carlton brand. A very personable guy, infinite levels of knowledge of Langkawi and hospitable throughout our stay to no ends. 3. Miraj, our housekeeper. He made every return to our room very special. From surprising treats, ensuring our cables were tied, the lovely notes and the baths filled with petals. Everything was so thoughtful. It is for these reasons I am so loyal to the Ritz Carlton and broader Marriott brand (Titanium member). We both can’t wait to return!

This is a beautiful property with 5 star service from beginning to end. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and escorted to the check-in area and given cold towels and drink/snack. They explained the property thoroughly and also handed us an updated information sheet. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Saw monkeys often from the balcony. Turndown service with a little snack. Every staff member was so friendly. We like to walk around though hot outside and anytime a buggy drove by they would ask if we needed a ride. It was our anniversary and they had decorated our room and on our last night they had a bottle of wine and a cake placed in our room :) The grounds were nicely maintained and the pools and beach were lovely. I believe breakfast is included for everyone. Platinum members also could redeem a welcome drink at the restaurants. There was a wedding one night and a couple of the restaurants were closed though they did have this on the information sheet so sure to read it. Reservations for the restaurants is recommended. That leads me to my one complaint: the food was just average. Since food at the hotel is significantly more expensive than outside, you're probably better off getting a grab and going off site for food which we were too lazy to do 😅

A massive thank you to the team at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi for making our engagement stay so memorable. The ocean view villa was stunning, and we loved that it was positioned perfectly to see the sunrise. We were so impressed by how the staff handled everything; the room decorations were a beautiful touch, and every request we had was met with a 'can-do' attitude. The logistics, including the airport pick-up and drop-off, were handled smoothly, allowing us to just relax. Every meal we had was delicious. You made us feel truly valued and cared for.

We just returned from our vacation during the festive season and new years at the RC Langkawi and we wished the vacation never ended :). It was a stay that was perfect from A-Z. Already the communication before we arrived was exemplary. We received a well curated set of emails about what we could expect. Our upfront questions and enquiries were all answered instantly. Spa bookings, transfer, etc. all was taken care of with meticulous care. When we arrived the team welcomed us with such kind and warm professionalism, it was wonderful to see that they knew who would arrive and what our expectations were. We stayed in a wonderfully appointed room with seaview surrounded by jungle. Our culinary experiences at Langkawi kitchen, the beach grill and Hai Yan were extraordinary. So was the service. The days we spent mostly at the beach, enjoying the blissful quietness and attentive service from the team at the beach. A big thank you to the team at the kids club. They created great experiences for the children. The kids could learn about the nature in the resort, built kites and were just having a great time all together. There were so many helping hands that we could impossibly mention here. From the drivers, to the housekeeping, to the service team. Lead by a wonderful GM, Mrs Tavares, all managed to truly fulfill an RC experience. Thank you again for an unforgettable stay.
