One of the best hotels I have ever been to! Spacious rooms, delightful service - we got a bath drawn for us as a surprise after a long day sightseeing and a complimentary teatime sampler of baked goods each day. The room overlooks the sea so the views were amazing. We also had the pleasure of learning more about sea cucumbers and the local ecology. I would also highly recommend the Spa - please come early if you make an appointment because they have great facilities like a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. In general, the service here is unstinting and generous and I really commend all the staff.

Unfortunately, my experience at this resort was very disappointing. During my stay (September 30, 2025) with my infant baby, I encountered several issues that made my vacation stressful instead of relaxing. Upon check-in, I was given a room that could only be accessed by stairs, which was very difficult with a baby stroller. When asked if I was celebrating any occasion, I mentioned that it was my first trip after giving birth — but this was completely ignored. In every other luxury resort I’ve stayed at, staff have shown genuine care and professionalism by sending a small gift or congratulations. Sadly, this resort showed no attention or sensitivity toward families or new mothers. No baby amenities were provided — not even a crib or basic baby products, which are usually standard in family-friendly resorts. The worst experience happened at the pool area (Villa 20). I was carrying my baby after swimming at the beach and asked where I could rinse him off. Several staff members directed me to the pool shower area, but once I started rinsing him, a staff member suddenly told me it was not allowed. I explained that it was cold and windy, and my baby couldn’t handle it, but he gave me only five minutes. While I was rinsing my baby quickly, another female staff member entered and started speaking loudly and harshly, insisting I leave immediately, even though I had just given birth and was clearly struggling. The male staff then told me I could not have my baby with me at the pool area at all — not even on the lounge chairs. He stood there watching me with no respect for privacy, then removed the pool towels from my chair even though my bag was still there. It was an extremely uncomfortable and humiliating experience. Overall, the resort’s attitude toward families was disappointing and unprofessional. My entire vacation was ruined because of this poor treatment. Additionally, an activity I never attended was added to my final bill, so please double-check your invoices before signing. The only positive part of my stay was the Spa, which was excellent — professional staff and truly memorable moments. I sincerely hope management takes serious action to improve staff training and family care standards.

A recommendable hotel. I visited this place in may last year and stayed for 5 nights. The staffs are friendly, the restaurants are all tasty, the monkeys and lizards are kinda cool. I reserved the hotel’s hiking program, and it was nice to find local birds etc. with the friendly guide. The spa’s good. A bit pricy but definitely worth a go. The sunset at the Horizon is memorable - do visit it at the sunset time during your stay. The foods are all good , including in-room dining. I ended up having every meal in the hotel, never taking a step outside the property. The only con is the buggies. You have to wait forever under the hot sun for a buggie to come - you can see other guests getting baked with you, and the faces get familiar as everyone’s waiting for the buggies everyday. The weather was too hot to walk but I ended up walking half baked several times during my stay. If only something can be done to improve the in-house transportation, it would be super.

A heartfelt mention also goes to Harris and Pien from the Front Office for their seamless check-in experience and constant readiness to assist with anything I needed — always with a smile. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to Hamdi from the Bellman team, who went above and beyond to make my stay extra special. His kindness, sincerity, and thoughtful gesture of gifting me a beautiful Ritz-Carlton luggage tag as a memento truly touched me. It’s a gesture I will never forget. And of course, a big thank-you to the wonderful housekeeping team, who ensured my room was always immaculate and welcoming. Their hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Every moment at The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi felt thoughtfully curated — from the stunning ocean views and world-class amenities to the warm, personalized touches that made me feel valued as a guest. This resort truly embodies the essence of luxury hospitality. I left with beautiful memories, a full heart, and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay surrounded by nature, serenity, and the genuine warmth of the Ritz-Carlton team.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi was simply exceptional. The resort is stunning—lush gardens, elegant architecture, and a dreamlike setting by the sea. The sunsets were magical, painting the sky in unforgettable colors. Dining was a delight, with fresh seafood in the evening and consistently excellent cuisine throughout.
