Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with the utmost respect, and the hospitality truly made our visit memorable. Every staff member we encountered—front desk, doormen, room service, restaurant staff, and the wonderful Ritz Kids Club team—was incredibly polite, warm, and attentive. They greeted us with a smile, remembered little details, and made our little boy feel so special. The hotel’s cleanliness was top-class, and the location was excellent, with easy access to Abu Dhabi’s main attractions. We stayed in an executive suite, which was absolutely divine. The pool area was beautifully maintained, and the pool staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We visited during the last week of September, and it wasn’t too busy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to this exceptional hotel—truly a palace in every sense!

I had such a great time at the Ritz Carlton. The place is honestly stunning and the whole vibe feels calm classy and super comfortable. The staff were really sweet and treated me so well which made everything feel even nicer. I really loved the Sorso bar. Their drinks are amazing and it is such a nice spot to just sit enjoy and unwind. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely go back.

We stayed as a family of four (kids aged 4 and 6) at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal in October and had a lovely experience overall. We booked a deluxe room with lounge access, and there were plenty of highlights that made our stay memorable. Positives: - The hotel is very close to the airport, which was great after a long flight. - Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, special mention to Osumane at the front desk and Thidar at the Kids Club, who were both fantastic. The Club Lounge team were also brilliant and made us feel right at home. - The Kids Club was excellent, our children loved going every day, which gave us some time to relax. - The pool area is large, beautifully kept, and perfect for families, spacious and not too deep, ideal for young kids. - Our room view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was stunning, especially at sunset. - Food quality across the restaurants and buffet was generally very good, and the gym was probably the best I’ve seen at any hotel…spacious and equipped with top-quality machines. - The team at Li Jiang went above and beyond after a delay during our first dinner there, inviting us for complimentary drinks another evening, a very classy gesture. - The hotel wasn’t too busy during our stay, which made it all the more relaxing. Negatives: - Check-in took around 30 minutes, which felt long given the hotel wasn’t busy. - The coffee machine in our room didn’t work properly. - Food service times were consistently slow…on two of the three restaurant visits, meals took a long time to arrive (around 3 hours total each time), which was tough with kids. - The beach area is quite small, and due to nearby construction, part of it was closed off, meaning no kayaking or paddle boarding was available, which was disappointing. - The most concerning issue was a major water leak in the main buffet restaurant during breakfast, it flooded part of the dining area and clearly wasn’t just “maintenance.” The situation looked quite serious, and staff seemed very stressed. There was also maintenance work taking place outside the Club Lounge on the 7th floor, which was a bit disruptive. Despite these issues, the staff handled things professionally and acknowledged the shortfalls, which I really appreciated. There were far more positives than negatives, and we left feeling that the service and hospitality made up for the hiccups. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially for families. With a few improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Memorable stay at the Ritz Carlton, Grand Canal. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were extremely warm and helpful, offering us dates and arabic coffee. We got a room on the 3rd floor. Room was adequately spacious, aesthetically pleasing and spotlessly clean and had all the amenities one would expect from the Ritz. The room comes with a balcony offering stunning views of the gigantic pool and beach, which along with the hotels Venetian inspired architecture is an absolute treat for the eyes, especially enjoyed evening time when the lights are fully illuminated. The breakfast next morning was plentiful, varied and delicious. Even after checkout, the hospitality of the hotel continued when we were graciously assisted with our bags and guided to our car. The only minor drawback I could think of is that the hotel is situated far from supermarkets and the city centre (almost 30 mins by car), but apart from that this hotel is a must visit when you are in Abu Dhabi. Highly recommended!

My experience at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi was outstanding from beginning to end. The hotel perfectly combines elegance, comfort, and world-class hospitality. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, offering relaxing views of the gardens and pool area. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional — they are friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything you need. The bar inside the hotel was another highlight of my stay. It has a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a drink in the evening. The cocktail menu is impressive, with both classic and signature creations, all prepared with great attention to detail. The bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive, making the whole experience feel personal and special. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Overall, The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi exceeded my expectations in every way. Beautiful facilities, excellent service, and a fantastic bar — I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.
