I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel on Palm Jumeirah, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt like a genuine wellness retreat combined with five-star luxury – exactly what this unique property promises. The welcome was nothing short of spectacular. Check-in was smooth , staff was helpful and in the room there were rose petals and chocolates. It’s these small, personal touches that make all the difference and instantly made me feel valued as a guest. The hospitality throughout the property is outstanding. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a memorable experience. Special mention must go to Sohail Shoukat, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exceptional – he truly embodies the spirit of hospitality that this hotel prides itself on. The restaurant team, including Sohail (from the F&B team) and the rest of the dining staff, were equally impressive: always smiling, highly knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to make every meal special. Cleanliness across the resort is impeccable. The rooms, public areas, spa, pool, and beachfront are maintained to the highest possible standard – spotless, fresh, and beautifully presented at all times. It’s clear that great care and pride are taken in every corner of the property. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and rejuvenating, yet the service never feels stuffy or overly formal – it strikes the perfect balance between luxury and genuine warmth. I left feeling completely relaxed, recharged, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re looking for a serene escape on the Palm with world-class service, exceptional cleanliness, and staff who make you feel truly looked after, The Retreat Palm Dubai is an absolute gem. The staff was really courteous and made our anniversary stay extra special by giving us an upgrade. The property has a beautiful private beach where you can swim, they also have a pool overlooking the water. The facilities are really good with Sauna, steam room as well as a Jacuzzi. The only thing that is a bit off is the entrance especially since you pass the Atlantis and other great looking buildings but it all is good once you come inside It was one of the best stays we have had in any hotel. Highly recommended Room - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 View - 10/10 Location - 10/10 Building and facilities - 8/10 Overall - 10/10

Thank you for a truly wonderful vacation. We were very impressed with our comfortable and modern accommodation and enjoyed the charming beach immensely. The main restaurant deserves special praise – the food was exceptional, with a great variety of original and delicious dishes daily. We must give a separate, heartfelt thank you to Amgad. His professionalism and willingness to help were felt in every aspect of our stay, making us feel truly well-cared for. As a friendly suggestion for an already great hotel, we would recommend reconsidering the use of glass bottles on the beach. We were slightly concerned about the potential safety hazard, as a broken bottle could leave hidden glass in the sand, which could be dangerous for bare feet, particularly children's. This is just a small point for consideration. Overall, we had a brilliant time and look forward to returning one day!
