Incredible. The room (water villa) was large and clean with an amazing view (sunset side). The staff were excellent and very helpful with any questions and requests. The food was generally very good: the food was excellent at The Falhumaa (French) and Long Island (Italian), the food was really good with wide variety at the Beach Bars and Dining Rooms. We didn't enjoy the food at Li Bai (Cantonese) despite normally enjoying such cuisine. True luxury

The staff here are fabulous and go way beyond their duty. They can't do too.much for you ,
My husband lost my camera while snorkeling off the beach and the reception staff got in touch with the diving centre and they went looking for it twice for us .didn't find it but so good of them to try . We only mentioned it to reception incase anyone found it and handed it in.
If any niggles we had which was small , is they do tend to cancel a few things at shirt notice for private events , the movie night in the beach wasn't good as they put a french film on that even the French walked off and didn't watch. Plus most of the restaurants are on the other island . Dighura . The staff on that island are not very helpful or as friendly. And definitely not as welcoming.
The spa on falhumaafushi was wonderful.
Water villa with pool was amazing but just to be aware of on the sunrise side the current is quite strong so if you're not a strong swimmer I wouldn't recommend going snorkeling from the room .

My boyfriend gifted me a trip to the Maldives for my 27th Birthday and I chose The Residence at Falhumaafushi and it couldn't be more perfect. Everything was outstanding from the start. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and incredibly nice. They recognized us by name and knew exactly who we were at the airport when picking us up. They decorated our room like a honeymoon, super romantic and memorable. We stayed at the deluxe overwater bungalow, and the view and location are worth every penny. The food was so delicious as well, from the breakfast buffet to the private dinning on the beach. I wanted to cry when we had to leave but we will definitely come back!! I cannot recommend enough for couples, you will have the best time of your life with your loved one.

We recently stayed at The Residence Falhumaafushi and we could not be more thrilled with our experience. The process of getting to and from the island was seamless and stress-free. Transfers were on time and well coordinated.
The island, villas and common areas were all immaculate and well looked after. We stayed in villa 300 and were very impressed with the size and functionality of the overwater villa. Joynal was always happy and bubbly when arriving at our room. He did a wonderful job at cleaning and making sure to check whether there was anything we needed each day throughout our stay.
The biggest compliment we have for the resort is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. We had particularly nice experiences with Nafiu, Ravi, Ahmed, Zahuwa, Sanooj, April and Kishan. Every single one of these employees were super accommodating and made our stay extra wonderful.
We celebrated our wedding/ceremony of vows while in the Maldives. We opted to have our ceremony on the deck of our villa, which was a first for the resort as they normally hold the ceremonies on the beach. Again, the resort was extremely accommodating of our wishes and went above and beyond to set up the perfect day for us. The day ran so smoothly and we really enjoyed ourselves. Ceremony packages are definitely worth it if thinking of having your wedding/vow renewal in the Maldives.
The Residence Falhumaafushi is a true 5-star experience. Thank you for having us and we cannot wait to come back and visit!

Exceptional in every way. The PERFECT honeymoon destination and a complete all-inclusive package. The setting, amenities, food, drinks, and staff were all 5 stars. There was no oversell on excursions or the Clarins spa. Nothing was a problem, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay ad special as possible.
All of the food was exceptional, but the dishes at the Falummha were outstanding. Chef Asish inspired that we were spoiled for choice and quality.
Exceptional wildlife and amazing visibility for snorkelling. It was hands down the east holiday of our lives! We can't wait to come back!!!!!!
