Had such a fun experience. The hotel rooms were to our expectations, food was good compared to other places we had been to. I think what made the experience different and turned it from a good time to an exceptional time was the animation. Fernando Chispa was so energetic and attentive to us. Great customer service from him. The activities and dance classes were top notch coming from someone who clearly loves their job. I will be coming back soon and hopefull find the same animators.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately made to feel incredibly important. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, and our check-in process was exceptionally smooth. Guillermo, our concierge, was remarkably attentive and considerate, exceeding all expectations to ensure our needs were met. He expertly arranged our restaurant reservations, activities, and even our excursion. Every member of the staff, from the luggage handlers to the beach waiters, was simply incredible. My husband and I are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have vacationed in such a wonderful place.

Overall, I had a fun and enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable, the resort was quiet and relaxing, offered different activities such as yoga, paddle fitness, and workshops. The customer service was beyond excellent and everyone was very helpful, especially Carlos Alberto, who communicated with us every day, gave a great tour and made us feel very welcome. I’ll start with all the pros: We went during off season, so the resort was not too crowded, extremely quiet with few children, wait times were minimal and service staff was excellent. The resort is beautiful and massive, with several pools and direct beach access. There were several things to do, although I had many external excursions planned, I wish i had more time to enjoy resort events. I experienced the paddle fitness class which was so much fun-the instructor was funny and it was a nice group experience. The coffee making taller was another quick but enjoyable experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and met all my needs. All the restaurants and the lobby were located in the central plaza so it was easy to navigate around the resort. Next, the excursions offered were all very fun and transportation was included. I felt that my experience was parallel to the price I paid. Getting the Reserve would not have been worth it. Now for the cons: The major issue being the food. There was breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet, several gourmet restaurant options but I would rate the quality and taste of the food as less than ideal. The taste of the various meats-chicken, salmon, steak mainly - were very bland. If they wanted to keep food bland its fine, but then they should offer different local condiments for guests who want more flavor. I have had authentic Dominican food and I was disappointed that there wasn’t anything tasty or authentic at the restaurant. Even the salmon lacked something as basic as salt. The restaurants were disappointing as well, there wasn’t any flavor or authenticity and the desserts tasted very cheap. There were only 3 options for ice cream-lemon, vanilla, coconut-and they all tasted the same. The cafe near the lobby had great drink options, but the pastries left on display had bugs flying around and made the food appear less than appealing. The best food I ate was outside the resort at a nearby restaurant, Citrus, though taking the major risk of going out into the city. Next, the check in process took a little longer than expected, and after they activated my bracelet, it didnt work to open my room. Also, there was live music every single day, but no singer. Only on Friday there was a live band which was the most enjoyable performance. On our final day, we went for breakfast and it was completely packed. The service was understaffed and we had to ask for every thing like utensils, cups for coffee etc.

🏝️🏝️🏝️An Unforgettable Stay at Paradisus Palma Real! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Paradisus Palma Real was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The resort is stunning beautifully maintained grounds, lush tropical gardens, and a breathtaking beachfront that looks straight out of a postcard. The staff deserve special mention everyone was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. From the front desk to the restaurant teams, service was consistently top-notch. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and luxurious, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. I especially loved waking up to ocean views and enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony. The food and drinks were outstanding plenty of delicious options for every taste, from international buffets to elegant à la carte dining. The cocktails were creative and refreshing, and the atmosphere at every restaurant was lively yet relaxing. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the pool, enjoy beach activities, or indulge at the spa, there’s something for everyone here. The entertainment team also did a fantastic job keeping guests engaged without it ever feeling intrusive. My husband and I went to Paradisus Palma Real for a week from November 8-15. It couldn't have been better or more beautirful! We stayed in the Reserve with a walk out from our room to the beach. Our butler, Gustavo, was amazing! He did an excellent job making sure everything was perfect for our 40th wedding anniversary. He even left us flowers and champagne in our room! Rafael and Martin took great care of us on the beach. The food was delicious. Truly, this resort is our favorite so far out of our Caribean vacations. Highly recommend!
