I checked in at Ravenala on Friday 12th December and checked out on 14th December. The hotel amenities and environment was great. Food also was 10/10 especially at the buffet of the Main Restaurant. I really appreciate the different options that they provide, especially me being vegetarian, I had many options. Even the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The view from the room was very beautiful. However, in many instances I noted that the staff were not friendly at all. At one instance, the manager/supervisor at the pool bar talked rudely without any kind greetings since we were with our wet clothes near the bar but we were not aware as there were no indications anywhere that we we had no right to be with our wet clothes. Also, many times we noticed that the staff did not respond to a basic "bonjour" unlike other hotels' staff who are very friendly. Even at the store, we were not communicated on what is included in the all inclusive package properly. We were very surprised by these behaviours for Ravenala is such a renowned hotel. Overall, we had a nice stay. We got to enjoy kayaking but despite the rain, we had a very good time.

Our stay at Ravenala Attitude was a mix of many positives alongside a few operational and housekeeping issues worth noting. On arrival, our pre-booked hotel transfer was missing, but after contacting the hotel the issue was quickly resolved. Our driver, Fasil, was excellent, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, our initial room was not clean and required a deep clean, which reception handled promptly and efficiently. During the stay, we experienced daily sightings of rodents around the resort. While we understand the open-air, riverside setting, this may be off-putting for some guests. The standout feature of this hotel is its staff. Across all departments, service was genuinely excellent. Our housekeeping attendant was outstanding, the laundry service was the best we’ve ever experienced, and food & beverage staff were consistently attentive. A special mention to Ki Shan at the beach. Dining was mixed: Riviera and Lime were exceptional in both service and food quality and were highlights of our stay. Mozaïk offered good food but was very busy, repetitive at breakfast, and challenging for guests with food allergies due to cross-contamination risks. Management did respond positively once concerns were raised. WiFi was excellent throughout the resort, the spa was fantastic, and upgrading to All-Inclusive Executive is highly recommended. Despite a few hiccups, issues were addressed quickly and professionally. No hotel is perfect, but the team here genuinely cares and that makes all the difference. We would happily return.

We’re currently staying at Ravenala Attitude Mauritius for our honeymoon and have been really impressed so far. The hotel is beautiful and has such a relaxing, easygoing vibe. The staff have all been lovely, especially Sievan, who has been incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The Boathouse team has also been fantastic — really friendly and full of great advice. They’ve helped us with excursions and given us loads of ideas for things to do, which has made exploring the island so much easier. We’ve tried three of the restaurants so far, and the food has been amazing — Koi Not has definitely been our favourite, with the dishes there being genuinely incredible. Overall, we’re having a fantastic time and would happily recommend Ravenala Attitude to anyone thinking of coming to Mauritius.

the food at “kot nou” was amazing to put it simply. from the starter, to mains, to dessert, it was lovely. for my starter i took “maki krokan” which was a nori wrapped rice roll, different from typical mauritian food and it was delicious. for the mains, you picked three curries and i took “kalia poul”, “rougay pwason” and “ salmi kanar” which were all different and so lovely, paired with rice. for dessert i took passion fruit flan and and chocolate sweet potato fondant, with a unique taste and texture unlike typical desserts. overall, this restaurant was amazing and i would 100% dine here again.

Dined at Kot Nou at Ravenala Attitude and absolutely loved the experience. The concept is fantastic, allowing you to try three different main courses, which makes the meal feel like a true culinary journey. We started with the Nou Trio Lamer, followed by the Nou Terwar mains, both were finger-licking good. 👌 The food was outstanding, and Siven and the crew were amazing with their warm hospitality. Dessert was the perfect finale: the passion fruit flan and the Feyte banana were simply delicious. Hats off to the chef too. 🙌
