The Pyramid Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort with adult-only exclusive areas. There is great diversity of all-inclusive culinary options: gourmet restaurants, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, international, seafood, sushi, and snacks.

The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in a variety of restaurants. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

I would not recommend wasting your time or money here. This resort and the staff could care less about their customers. There are hundreds of better “all inclusive” resorts. I wouldn’t even consider this really all inclusive considering half the stuff we asked for they didn’t have. Ex: Mojitos, smoothies for kids, blended drinks, the list goes on. Pros: 1. The outdoors area is beautiful throughout the resort and there is lots of pools. 2. It is not overpacked and plenty of room for all.however after staying there I see why and not necessarily a good thing. 3. If you have kids, the kids area is great and the lack of customers make it kid friendly throughout the various pools. Kids have space to be kids! Cons: 1. Rooms are extremely outdated and half the crap in the room doesn’t work. Very small room, bathroom, and balcony. The tub/shower was so inconvenient. 2. Service- 90% of the staff are rude and very unwelcoming. Coffee shops girls were the only kind and customer friendly employees. 3. They barely have anything to offer as far as drinks. So limited on what you can get and even then half the time if the bartender wasn’t up to making it they would just tell you they don’t have it. 4. The food is nothing to rave about. I wouldn’t waste your time with reservations at the various restaurants. You’ll leave disappointed and end up at the buffet anyways so might as well just start there, it’s the best thing they got for food. Learn from us 😊

Honest review time. I have no idea where all these 1 star reviews come from. This place is amazing. Stayed for 4 days at this resort. It was very clean and it was alot of fun. My only complaint is not enough cabanas and the man who works the front desk could use some customers service expwriance. But we all have bad days so not the worst. This place is fair price and you get alot from it. Must have a black wrist band.

The resort was expensive, I'm glad we were part of the Pyramid luxury side. The outdoors were open and had splendid peacocks. The mix of great beach side and pool was wonderful. The food especially at the walk ups and buffets was average at best. Taking the time to get reservations at the restaurants is a heavy recommendation. We loved Benazuza and Black Sens in particular. The spa services were wonderful as well. Service was up and down with some standout staff and some who clearly didn't want to be there.

Spent 6 nights at this gorgeous resort! Staff was absolutely amazing. The pools sparkled and the grounds were lavishly green! All areas of the resort were well kept and very clean! Night shows were overly entertaining! I highly recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Cancun. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been a loyal visitor to this all-inclusive resort for many years, and it has always been my go-to for relaxation and enjoyment. I love the pyramid check in staff. Always so friendly and accommodating to our needs. I have always bought the Sian Kan or pyramid categories & I looked forward to trying on the great restaurants the resort has. My favourite being Miramar and white box. However, this recent trip left me feeling a bit let down, particularly when it came to the food options. In the past, the food was consistently a highlight, with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and plenty of choice. But this time, something felt off. The once-diverse menu selections seemed to have shrunk, and the variety that made each restaurant unique was replaced with repetitive offerings. I loved the watermelon salad at Miramar during lunch, but they have discontinued that and now offer a cheap Caesar salad. Also, the other options have been replaced with not so great food. Other a la carte restaurants like white box there was a noticeable dip in quality. The flavours just didn’t match what I’d remembered. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the lack of attention to dietary needs. My friend had a spinach allergy and we told them at the front specifically and they still got the items she ordered with spinach and when we addressed it, they did not even apologize and were very rude to take back the sandwich and gave her just the bread and chicken without any other ingredients in it. It was very, very disappointing. The service was very, very poor at the white box. The staff were very rude. The snacks used to have chicken fingers beside the pool, but now they even cut down on that. I don’t know why they cut down on such good food options. The pico de gallo was always empty whenever I went beside the pool to grab some snacks like tacos and burger. Overall, the food was a very big disappointment. While the staff remains as friendly and attentive as always, and the overall experience at the resort still offers the same relaxation and amenities, the food changes have left me reconsidering my future visits. Dining is a huge part of the all-inclusive experience, and I hope the resort takes notice of these changes and brings back the diverse, high-quality food options that made it stand out in the past. Until then, I’ll be looking for other places to enjoy my vacations.
