If you are a traveler from abroad, my strongest recommendation is to avoid this hotel. This was a definitively bad experience, and we will never return. Even though we paid for "The Pyramid", everything was of extremely low quality. ​The staff at this complex is incredibly unwelcoming. They don’t greet you, they lack basic hospitality, and their English is very limited. We saw many international guests struggling because the employees simply wouldn't answer their questions. Most of the staff appeared moody, rude, and acted as if helping you was a chore. ​ ​The rooms are dated and have a very unpleasant smell. Everything feels cheap, including the mattresses, which were very uncomfortable. ​ ​The buffet food is terrible and lacks variety. I was served meat that was mostly gristle, and the overall flavor of the food is poor. The "snacks" are basic, and the tacos were greasy and unappetizing. ​Reservations: It is nearly impossible to book specialty restaurants. ​Crowds: One night, the buffet was so overcrowded they sent us to eat in the cafeteria.The alcohol is bottom-shelf, low-quality, and tastes bad. ​ ​Avoid this place during Spring Break. The hotel is full of drunk teenagers, and there are massive lines for everything.While the beach is pretty, the ocean is very rough. There aren’t enough lounge chairs or shade. If you don't "reserve" a chair with a towel by 6:00 AM, you won't find a place to sit all day (we were feeling like we were playing the hunger games). ​Save your money and avoid the headache. There are many other hotels offering much better service and quality for the same price. Even that entertainment was good, this hotel was a huge disappointment. Do not stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Pyramid Oasis! We had the ocean front master suite and it was beautiful and cleaned every day for us. We never had problems getting chairs for the pool or beach like other reviews say- we were up before 9 every morning and secured chairs. We booked reservations ahead of time for all the restaurants so we never had to eat at the buffet. All of the restaurants were fantastic and delicious! Black Sens was a very cool experience that I’ve never done before anywhere else, and would definitely recommend dining there! Most people working were friendly and willing to help, we just experienced the issue of language barriers at times. I definitely recommend staying at the Pyramid as long as you are someone willing to plan ahead.

We stayed at Grand Oasis Cancun for 14 days and overall had a wonderful experience. The territory is huge — we walked between 8,000 and 11,000 steps every day — and the number of pools is impressive. The restaurants were excellent, especially Sakura, Benazuza, and Black Sense Delmar breakfast spot were big highlights.The staff was always friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is not very child-friendly for toddlers. There is no playground, no toddler pool with attractions, and the kids’ club is only for ages 4–12. Changing tables are also missing in restrooms. Our room (1327) had a strange smell and could use some renovation. On the beach is never enough sunbeds people stay on the sand) Despite that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would return once our child is older and can use the larger pools😁

Absolutely Horrible! Let's start with some pros The resort is very big and the grounds are gorgeous. There are several pools and the ocean/beach is clear of seaweed however no beach chairs. Ok so thats the good. Now the cons hopefully I wont run out of space. Food was absolutely disgusting eggs pancakes waffles fries and taters the best thing. The restaurants we supposedly all booked but we managed to eat at the Japanese 10/10 and the steak house 2/10. The building 1 the rooms are so run-down and bathroom disgusting. Let's talk about the worst part of this resort THE STAFF SO RUDE. If you spoke Spanish you got better treatment. We had the upgraded bracelets which honestly save your $ i still have no idea what the upgrade costs. Also watch out for hidden fees they charge you. I could go on and on about how bad this resort is. I would never return nor recommend it. They need to upgrade rooms and get better staff...honestly rudest staff i have EVER encountered

We stayed here nine nights, and our family of four had a wonderful holiday. The pool and the beach were definitely highlights. We definitely plan on coming back here. The housekeepers Graciela and Raquel we're so friendly and always left our room spotless. The resort is beautiful we always saw people cleaning and making sure you were well taken care of. We've been to Cancun many times and we will definitely be returning to this resort. Thank you for making our holiday so amazing.
