The Pyramid Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort with adult-only exclusive areas. There is great diversity of all-inclusive culinary options: gourmet restaurants, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, international, seafood, sushi, and snacks.

The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in a variety of restaurants. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

Absolutely Horrible! Let's start with false advertising, In their website, they offer a casino in two nightclubs… which they’ve been closed for a while. I paid everything in advance of course I was informed that an additional $19 will be pay at the facility… when I arrived, the additional fee to pay ( supposedly taxes) was about $70. They also offered me a free jungle Cruise ride, which is a party boat, but it was not free, I had to pay $13 per person. My second day I realized that it was not electrical switch anywhere in the bathroom to blow dry my hair. They had a huge mirror in the room, but not electrical switch around the mirror either. They don’t serve mimosas until 9:30 am in the morning. My second day they shot the water down until 6 AM without notifying anyone. The customer service was bad. I try to shop three times and their gift shop, the first time they kicked me out because it was holding a drink, the second time because I was wet coming from the swimming pool and the third time they asked me to leave my bag out the door wish I thought that was very offensive because I I’m not a thief… how they expect a woman to leave their purses or bags out the door??… and I can go on and on, but the only thing I have to say that this place is not recommended please do not waste your money if you want to have a nice and fun vacation. Is nothing fun to do upthere, everything closed at 10:30 pm, no night activities. Not recommend this place at all.

I am giving 4 star because their food range for general restaurant is very limited people who eat chicken should not consider this resort as they have almost nothing or very less chicken here whereas the sea front room has bit outdated bathrooms whereas people who relay on elevator for wheel chair or baby stroller should not choose this hotel as other then the praymid itself building there is some stair you need to go up manually which is really painful bcz we compromise a bit to change room to praymid which has partial beach view but room are way better and good bathroom so that change workef best for us with one year baby. Within Pyramid Booking, you would have access to premium restaurants which were super good, especially Banazuza, Careyes, and Sakura, all of which required booking in advance. The staff was extremely good, and the fragrance at Pyramid was very good .Overall, not a bad experience as there were few other restaurants we were supposed to try, but we couldn't get much time. But Cafe del Mar has a good view outside and has a side pool down the seaside. The beaches are all the same in the resort, so that's Good. Overall satisfied, but if we had known some of these options beforehand, we might have planned better. But I'm okay with what I paid for it.

Don’t let the ratings scare you. This is definitely the best resort we’ve ever been too. The Pyramid is fabulous in every aspect tbh. Great stuff, great location, very nice and clean. Food is great at as well but could be a little better. There are 17 restaurants available for the pyramid guests and we were able to get food for the 5 days without reserving any of them. Our stay have been awesome and we’ll definitely be returning back next year.

If you are a traveler from abroad, my strongest recommendation is to avoid this hotel. This was a definitively bad experience, and we will never return. Even though we paid for "The Pyramid", everything was of extremely low quality. ​The staff at this complex is incredibly unwelcoming. They don’t greet you, they lack basic hospitality, and their English is very limited. We saw many international guests struggling because the employees simply wouldn't answer their questions. Most of the staff appeared moody, rude, and acted as if helping you was a chore. ​ ​The rooms are dated and have a very unpleasant smell. Everything feels cheap, including the mattresses, which were very uncomfortable. ​ ​The buffet food is terrible and lacks variety. I was served meat that was mostly gristle, and the overall flavor of the food is poor. The "snacks" are basic, and the tacos were greasy and unappetizing. ​Reservations: It is nearly impossible to book specialty restaurants. ​Crowds: One night, the buffet was so overcrowded they sent us to eat in the cafeteria.The alcohol is bottom-shelf, low-quality, and tastes bad. ​ ​Avoid this place during Spring Break. The hotel is full of drunk teenagers, and there are massive lines for everything.While the beach is pretty, the ocean is very rough. There aren’t enough lounge chairs or shade. If you don't "reserve" a chair with a towel by 6:00 AM, you won't find a place to sit all day (we were feeling like we were playing the hunger games). ​Save your money and avoid the headache. There are many other hotels offering much better service and quality for the same price. Even that entertainment was good, this hotel was a huge disappointment. Do not stay here.

Our experience at the Pyramid of Cancun was fine, but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly overall, and the food was okay. We never ran out of food at the buffet, despite some reviews warning about that. Depending on the time you go, there can be a wait especially during msin dinner times...but we personally never waited more than about 15 minutes. One downside was the lack of lounge chairs around the pools. Like many resorts, if you don’t go very early to put towels down and reserve chairs, you likely won’t find any available later in the day. Personally, we paid the $75 for a private cabana, which I thought was a good deal and made the pool experience much more enjoyable. This was a family vacation, and for that purpose, the resort worked well enough. The rooms, however, were below par. They weren’t anything special, and some had visible mold. My niece’s room also had cockroaches, which was disappointing and hard to overlook. One thing worth noting is that I am a Spanish speaker, and it’s possible that helped our experience when interacting with staff. I can’t say for certain how service compares for non–Spanish-speaking guests, but it may be something to keep in mind. Would I visit again? Possibly...especially if I were looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive. But it’s not the kind of place that makes you say, “I’m definitely coming back.” Overall, you get what you pay for, and this is not a high-end, luxury all-inclusive experience. All that said I enjoyed my time there.
