I'm wanting to be fair but frankly I'm a bit frustrated. The facilities are good. AC in bedroom is awesome. Place is clean. Casino is fun but no AC. The food is awful though. Especially for a vegetarian but even if that wasn't a factor it is truly awful. Several buffets all have the same things pretty much every night. Not even good things just leftovers on top of leftovers. Dessert isn't even good. The restaurants are hard to when get reservations for despite being free. And I am traveling solo... And even there, food bad. Now to service... Housekeeping does a decent job but forgets things like a do not disturb card. Minibar isn't restocked unless you request it and then when I finally managed to get an answer from them, they said it would be 45 minutes to 4 hours. For a Coke. Bars, are not serving good drinks. Watered down. So I'm not very impressed by this place however did have a really good time. 3 Stars is actually pretty generous...

The location and the ocean front view is beyond gorgeous. I enjoyed the free coffee every morning and watching the sun rise/set. This alone is probably the only reason why I rated 2 stars for this place.
The rooms are so so so outdated. It smells like mold & dirt. The fridge was not working, ac rattles all time, and half the time we were taking ice cold showers.
The free "food" is barely edible. Everything that's decent required a reservation and closes super early. We couldn't get into any of the restaurants on site, so we ended up eating off the resort the whole time we were there.
The lobby is beautiful and seeing peacocks everyday was an amazing experience but I would truly never come here again.

This resort is terrible, we celebrated a 50th birthday of a friend, it was 30 of us that attended and stayed there we were all very disappointed. the rooms are dirty, roaches and big ones, I purposely left garbage to see if they clean and they don't, floor was full of sand and dirt, a Motel is better than this place, very misleading website, the rooms are nothing like they describe it online.. being all inclusive the food was ok, the drinks are all watered down, you do not get your moneys worth. We will never stay at this place again. Too expensive for what you get, some of the staff is nice others you say good morning and they dont respond,. very disappointed with my people, the dining area staff super nice and very talkative, I loved that! the beach was my favorite because i did not have to deal with the rude staff, one of the bar tenders named Gabriel was awesome, we made sure we took care of him. We actually had to bring in liquor from outside due to the liquor there sucks! rooms got flooded, ceilings leaked onto my friend while she was sitting in the toilet seat, beds were like hammocks they sunk in. sliding doors to the balcony had no handles and it will take 3 people to slide it open, my friend and roommate got locked in their room due to a malfunction on their lock. it was a horrible experience not worth it at all. We will never stay there again, we travel every year with this big group and we will return to Cancun but will be staying at a nicer resort, we all visited other resorts while there and are really nice. don't waste your time here.

Had a really nice stay here. Staff are unbelievably nice. Room was cleaned everyday. Mini fridge stocked everyday. Not sure where all the bad reviews come from.
Might be a certain group of people that stay in most all inclusive resorts around Mexico.
They Drink all day by the pool, are extremely hard to please and very rude to the Staff.
I would recommend a black vip bracelet.

Give it one star just because there’s no 0 star option. I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with this hotel experience. It’s not a so called luxury hotel but a motel I would say. Despite booking their highest-priced oceanfront room, it turned out to be shockingly old and outdated. Broken lamps, dirty carpets, and missing floor pieces were just the beginning. Surprisingly, my request to change rooms was initially denied, claiming it was the last available. Only after insisting and involving the manager did they miraculously find another room, though it still had issues. The midnight surprise of the TV turning on by itself and the appearance of a red cockroach were simply unacceptable. The dining options were limited, with a disappointing buffet and extra costs in many restaurants. A particularly rude waiter, who claimed to be the manager at Careyes restaurant, added to the unpleasant experience. I won't consider this hotel or any others from the Oasis group for future trips; it undeniably ruined my vacation in Cancun.
