The Restaurant 

Port Louis harbour and beautiful Ocean views is the backdrop of this popular restaurant where guests are enchanted by pool reflections and flaming torch lights whilst sampling fine wine and creole cuisine. 

On the Rocks  

A supreme experience, guests can enjoy fresh seafood, grilled delights, pizzas and pasta right beside the volcanic rock and waves. Even the catch of the day from fishing trips can be cooked to your liking in this beautiful and unique environment. 

The Gunpowder Room 

A national monument transformed into a luxurious dining venue for a select few couples per sitting, here is where contemporary Japanese, traditional Mauritian, creole and wine and rum tasting can all be enjoyed.  

The Bar

We had an unforgettable experience during our 2 night stay. Fabulous staff make hotel as it is. Specialmthanks to Antish who went above and beyond . Excellent food and beverages. We only experienced " the restaurent ". Other restaurents needed reservations and lack of vegetarian options in these restauents was a disappointment. We really enjoyed the heated pool and family enjoyed complementary water sports. Located in an historic area and rooms and garden are beautifully maintained. Exceeded our expectations

Stayed in an oceanview suite with my wife. Very nice accommodations. They must turn the hot water off at some point, because you cannot fill the extra large tub with anything but lukewarm water in the early morning, this was a constant source of frustration as a hot bath on those cool mornings to help the jet lag was very tempting. The shower drain was also barely working, so shower would fill up, which is a little gross. Food was pretty good and service was average for Mauritius. Not the best value, but a nice place to stay for a couple.

The villas are really nice. Good size private pool. The amenities in the room are really good. The theme of the resort is suitable. The complimentary water activities are good, the kayak , glass boot ,.. the breakfast is mix of buffet and Al card and it is really tasty. The service everywhere is amazing. The facilities such as fitness center, swimming pools are really good. The resort is close to the island north attractions and the capital. They provided multiple housekeeping in the same day with faces full of smiles . Recommended

Best place to be! We have spent 10 days at The Oberoi Beach Resort and we enjoyed it so much! The rooms are great: super clean, comfortable bed, plenty of space, very nice bathroom and the view is stunning! The restaurants do a great job: food is freshly prepared and very delicious, the drinks are super refreshing! The menu’s are for every taste. They are super flexible and ensure your taste preference and needs are met. We especially enjoyed the Restaurant ‚On The Rocks‘! The pools and beaches do invite you to relax and linger. The whole hotel complex with the beautiful garden is so well maintained and blends in very nicely with the nature of Mauritius - so much love and passion to details! The entire hotel team, from reception, over waiters to the housekeeping team and gardeners are outstanding: they are living pure hospitality & care, ensuring you have the best time with them! A special call out to Amanda, Mevin, Yash and Solomon, which absolutely exceeded our expectations! We thank the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! We can highly recommend to stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort and looking forward to our next visit!

From check-in to check-out, every moment was exceptional. The food was simply incredible – the curries in particular were sublime. Do yourself a favour and don’t leave without trying one! The breakfast buffet has everything you could want including beautifully baked pastries and a great selection of breads all freshly made. On our last morning, the chef even prepared a special Indian breakfast just for us. We loved the daily complimentary “adult experiences” – henna painting, rum tasting and even a cooking class! Days on the beach were made extra special with attentive touches: fresh iced water, chilled facecloths, refreshing spritzer sprays and the surprise arrival of a sugar cone ice cream! The staff are highly trained, incredibly polite and move around so discreetly. Led by the fantastic GM, Aditya Pandey, every team member went above and beyond – from Sunita (cooking class chef) and Antish (housekeeping) to Arpit, Mevin in the restaurant and so many others whose names we sadly can’t list but whose kindness we’ll never forget. Leaving this place makes me feel incredibly sad!
