I recently stayed at The Mora Zanzibar, and overall it was a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The property itself is beautiful and creates a very relaxing environment. However, I found the overall service and food to be quite average, which was a little disappointing considering the standard the hotel aims to offer. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. That being said, two waiters in particular Gilbert and Amira were honestly amazing. They were attentive, friendly, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our experience special. Their warmth and dedication really stood out and made a big difference to our stay. They are a true credit to the hotel. In summary, a beautiful hotel with great potential, made memorable by exceptional staff members like Gilbert and Amira, but with room for improvement in overall service and dining quality.

The hotel met all our expectations. The staff deserves special mention – they were extremely polite, helpful, and always smiling. Angel from the Jua Grill restaurant, who served us, especially deserves the highest praise for her professionalism and excellent approach to guests. Besides that, the hotel is very clean, the food is delicious, the drinks are wonderfully refreshing, and the beach and pools are truly fantastic. Definitely a place worth returning to.

The room is very comfortable. All foods and drinks are very nice. People there are very polite. Restaurant manager Fabian is nice man. He help us have the lunch early so that we can catch up the flight. We enjoy our stay with the Mora. a family from Beijing China.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week here at Mori. The staff made it five star for us. Queen, Benjamin and Kanisiani were very attentive offering excellent service in the international buffet restaurant. Always greeting us with a smile and genuine interest in engaging in conversation. All the staff had a good sense of humour so we were able to build up a good relationship. The pool drinks service was great, we thought Ziada did a good job, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned really well every day, new towels when indicated and turn down service every night. Adela in reception and Cheryl in the spa offered great communication and understanding of the guest experience - they are excellent additions to the team for sure! We loved it and feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you to all the Moto team. Sally and Nicholas Shore
