I flew in for a concert in San Francisco and stayed at this hotel — it was a wonderful experience. The interior was beautiful, and my room was huge, with two separate rooms! The staff was amazing, everyone was so polite. And by a lucky coincidence, the musicians from the concert I went to were staying at the same hotel, so I even got to chat with them a little. I’m so happy — thank you for such a great time! I’ll definitely come back!

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful regarding recommendations on places to eat nearby. We were given helpful walking maps and personalized suggestions. Additionally, the staff greeted us each time we walked in and out of the building, and remembered the previous conversations we had by asking how we enjoyed X restaurant or Y bar. We are also very thankful for the complimentary water bottle and bookmark we received. Though I stayed here primarily as overflow for the conference at the Intercontinental, I will gladly choose The Marker in the future if I ever travel back to San Francisco. This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located in walking distance from many great places to eat, drink, and buy groceries.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful week at a beautiful hotel I stayed at The Marker Hotel for a week and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The management and staff couldn’t have been more helpful — warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property with a lovely Beaux Arts character. My room was comfortable, stylish, and a pleasure to return to each evening. Everything about my stay felt relaxed and welcoming. I’d gladly return and highly recommend The Marker to anyone visiting San Francisco.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the amenities are excellent. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible level of service. Prior my arrival and onward the moment I arrived, every request or question was handled immediately and with genuine care. My luggage was delayed by the airline, and the staff went above and beyond to assist — offering grooming essentials, tracking the delivery, and keeping me updated on its arrival. Even after I checked out, they continued to help me with a delayed mail item, without hesitation. This wasn’t just a one-time kindness from a single team member — the entire staff radiated a consistent, service-driven attitude. You can feel that customer care is part of the hotel’s DNA. Highly recommended, and I’d gladly return. Thank you to The Marker team for making my stay so smooth and pleasant.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay! The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and in a great location near Union Square. The room was a bit small and the A/C quite noisy, and we were missing towels on the second day — but aside from that, everything was fine. The real highlight was the front desk staff: Geo absolutely saved us when he let us change in the downstairs restrooms before our evening flight after a huge rainstorm, even though we had checked out earlier that morning. Really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility — it made a big difference!
